This location is terrible and ghetto. They close at 1am on fridays and i got here at 12:20am and no one took my order and no one was at the window. I saw workers inside, hiding. The food was absolutely horrible . The biscuits were hard . They don't know how to count pieces of chicken . The manager if she was really the manager was very very rude . The fries were hard and cold . So I would not recommend eating there . So if you want horrible food and rudeness then KFC is the place for you .. oh yes they take no responsibility for there food . I wasn't feeling well and my grandson and his friend were kind enough to stop and drop off an order from the KFC Drive Thru. Problems can occur at any business and there were multiple problems on our order. When I called, I am ashamed to say I was probably more rude than I should have been but fortunately I was speaking to the store manager, Jenn, who was not only professional, pleasant and kind but efficient and smart too! Not only did she resolve the problems in an immediate and innovative manner that really impressed me, her caring and efficient resolution took me from being DONE with KFC to a customer thankful for the delicious replacement dinners. This place deserves zero stars. When I ordered an eight-piece bucket for $10, I was utterly disgusted. Three long and thick feathers were sticking out of one of the thighs, omg. That evening, I called the manager right away, and she seemed incredibly nonchalant . After putting me on hold for fifteen minutes, she eventually agreed to offer me a replacement or a $10 refund. I threw all of the chicken in the trash that night. When we returned for a refund the following day, the manager, if she was actually the manager was extremely obnoxious. She told us that only one thigh would be replaced and not a refund. We told her that the dinner was ruined, and she said a refund would be issued for the entire meal. "Because you called corporate they can handle it" she stated in a very childish manner. She began to argue with me about their return policy and I wasn't going to entertain such foolishness. I then witnessed one of the employees putting chicken in a bucket while talking and laughing with his face almost in the bucket.Talking over food, especially so close, unsanitary. The amount of germs and saliva in that customer's food is unimaginable. After pulling off, we said we will never go back. No rational and sane individual would serve or consume that. This particular location at 800 Montauk Highway in Shirley, New York, is such a disgrace. The employees are childish, disrespectful, and dirty.They are not properly cleaning their poultry. I ordered the fill up box and a large Mac and cheese from this kfc. The chicken was overcooked and nearly burnt, tasted terrible and had a bad flavor. The fries were okay and the biscuits were dry as shit. The chicken nuggets were nasty and the flavor was horrible. The Mac and cheese was cold. I stopped on my way home from work and ordered an 8-piece meal with corn, cole slaw (trying to be a little bit healthy) and fries, which I haven't eaten in months. I got home (15 minute drive), took a shower, and opened the bag to find, no cole slaw and corn, but awful mac and cheese, fake mashed potatoes, and biscuits. Not even french fries. I was at the SHIRLEY location yesterday and purchased a large order- an hour later after more shopping I got home and realized the chicken tenders were missing- I called the ph number on the receipt and left a massage- disatisfied with that I got dressed again in my pajamas and went back to resolve the issue- The manager didnt want to help me- or give me a refund- The order was for 4 pc's of chicken and 4 chicken tenders with 2 sides and 2 biscuits - the manager said the order was wrong and is not AND 2 tenders but OR- nowhere on the sign does it say OR / or AND anywhere- I wanted what I wanted regardless of the price or pacjage deal and was willing to pay for it- the manager didnt care or understand why I would order anything outside the package they provide- I said I dont care what deals you make or what goes with what- I just want what I want and am willing to pay what it costs- but to have to come back in my pj's and fix this mistake I wanted some kind of compensation or refund- she offered none- and was on the phone with the regional rep who didnt help at all- I called a cop- Not really to arbitrate but to protect her from me- I was about to lose my temper- and for her safety I decided to call a police witness- he said they dont negotiate of arbitrate between disputes and to take my food and call the BBB- I expected at least a free soda for my trouble but got nothing- The sign said what it did and legally they are supposed to honor the mistake- I worked retail and they are supposed to abide by the signage regardless if its wrong or not- and in the old days police used to witness that a business wasnt ripping off customers- but in todays world they are allowed to - and I am allowed to take them to small claims or complain to the BBB- or corporate- and we all know what that means- a bug nuffin- So I suggest everyone go to the stores and insist on the deal written on the signage- I bet the all are wrong- the whole region made bad signs- FIGHT FOR YOUR CHICKEN read more
