This is based on Saturday August 16 : last couple times I came there was a friendly Asian gal at the front who brought out hot food. Unfortunately this time she was not there and they brought out one good order of chicken, while the other was horribly old and dry. When I complained, they acted like it was fine. I asked for a new piece of chicken, and they gave me old chicken again. One lady claimed that chicken was kept only 30 minutes in the heaters. Clearly this chicken was way past that time frame. They kept ignoring me and pretending that my complaint was worthless. I asked for a manager and the one guy gaslit me. Finally the gal at the drive thru got upset and refunded me because she was tired of me complaining. I get that the ac was broken and it was very hot, but I never did anything to deserve their bad food or rude service. Don't go without the Asian girl at the front. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've had I waited over 30 mins for my food after being told to park. Then when the food came out it was cold. I had to get them to re cook my food which took another 15 mins. Not to mention that there were homeless people and drug users just roaming around the parking lot. read more

Wasnt the best experience I've had at a KFC but not the worst. One thing I was very impressed by was the speed my order was ready. I ordered an 8 piece meal at the drive thru. By the time I reached the window it was already done. Incredible. Only problem is that means it was likely sitting there a bit and when I got home, I confirmed this was likely true as the chicken was a bit dry, as though it had been sitting under the warmer too long. While I was disappointed by that, I did receive my order quickly, it was delicious, and it was all correct. For that I give 3 stars. 5/03, I stood at the front counter for over five minutes before an employee even looked in my direction. When they finally did, they didn't greet me or ask if I needed help or anything.. after explaining that I was picking up an order she said they were still working on it. The man next to me, asked to check on his order and said that he's been waiting 20 minutes for a dine in order...she looked annoyed then started his order. I watched as an African-American employee, put my order together and set it on the counter and went back to the drive-through, ignoring the fact that I was there to pick it up. when I asked for it, the other African-American lady screamed from across the back room "ITS NOT READY" .. when in fact was I'm looking right at it. Went to this KFC for an after school snack for my grandson. He wanted a chicken bowl. I saw that they had a chicken friend steak special on Wednesday, so we got one of those also. My husband and I were at this KFC for lunch. No one else was in the restaurant when we were there. When we got home less than 8 mins later, my husband realized he left his wallet on our table-which contained a good sum of cash for Christmas presents for the family, his driver's license, passport, debit card and several credit cards. We called KFC right away to ask if anyone had seen the wallet. I started off the call with, "My husband and I were just there for lunch..." I was interrupted with, "No one turned in a wallet." TOTALLY suspicious: I didn't even ASK yet about the wallet!! I said, "Wow, that throws up some red flags for sure! My husband will be by shortly to look around." When he arrived a few minutes later, none of the three employees even acknowledged him, nor would even look him in the eye when he demanded their attention. Hadn't had kcf in years. Got an ad and it looked good so i went to my nearest location (this one) and decided to order a 8 piece bucket. Huge mistake. Chicken was so soggy the skin was coming off in the bucket, the oil tasted dirty and somehow the chicken was overcooked while also seeming like the breading was undercooked. Truly the worst chicken I've ever had. I threw it away after a piece. Lesson learned, i will absolutely never come back to this location and probably won't go back to a kfc. Go to Popeyes. Not sure why I keep coming here. Food is actually really expensive for fast food and the menu is so hard to read. Even with a coupon (and you should always have a coupon for KFC) it always come out over $20 for two. Oh I know the reason, one of my all time guilty pleasures is the extra crispy skin. It's like no other and is literally food crack. I could just eat that skin all day long. That's why I have to space out my visits to only a few times a year. This place would literally choke off my arteries, but oh so tasty. Chicken always cooked with soft moist meat (except I want more white meat) and a biscuit drenched in butter and honey to finish it off. Next lay down on a cot and take a nap. Stopped by a week later and ordered two meals and hot wings. I was told they didn't have thighs and my choices were breast, leg and wings. Three piece meal was breast and wings, the two piece was breast and leg. When I got home I received two thighs and a leg in one and a thigh and leg in the other. We like to come here on Mons and Weds for their daily specials. Monday is the two piece chicken with corn, mash potatoes and biscuit; and Wednesday is the chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie has chunks of veggies in a creamy sauce topped with a buttery flaky crust (almost like phyllo dough crust), so yummy! Our family favorites are the original and extra crispy fried chicken. Ask for the spicy sauce, it's so good with the extra crispy chicken. They also have fried apple pies here too, yes, fried not baked...I know, not healthy, but oh so yummy! McDonald's use to fry their pies back in the day, but now they are baked, so this is a rare find. Service here can be hit or miss. If you're going to the drive-thru, I highly recommend you check your order before leaving. 3 out of 5 times, my order was always incorrect. I really can't with KFC anymore, particularly this Meadowview location. It's because of the service received at this location that I no longer go to KFC, no matter the location. So disappointing and frustrating. There was another KFC location about 10 minutes away that they closed, but I really miss it because that location had the BEST customer service. It's like KFC thought they would profit more by opening this location and staffing it with braindead and lazy people.
