Time to rip KFC-Ripley a well deserved new one. The math is simple here...I was there 5-7 minutes before closing time, they were closed. Through the glass door I held up my cell phone which displays the time in bold letters, a lady barked "we're closed". I then pointed to the time on my phone, she wasn't interested, she just barked again "we're closed" as if I didn't hear her the first time. If you go through drive thru and order all white or all dark bucket of chicken you will "automatically have to wait 25 minutes ". That's what I was told. I said never mind. I ordered 12 wings no sauce. Was told " would you like to wait 15 minutes?" I said no. Just regular mixed chicken bucket I still had to pull over and wait 15 minutes. I went through the drive-through recently, and it was a nightmare. Mind you, and there was no one inside eating, so no excuse for the time it took. To begin with, there were at least 10 cars lined up. Once I made it to place my order, I was told to hold. About five minutes later, they took my order and told me to pull to the window. It was then I learned their process was to receive an order then serve that order before taking another order. Even when I was at the window, it took them a bit to make the order. Waited in drive up for 15 minutes, as i was sitti g there i saw another customer go in and order and then come back out. She obviously had my order when she came out. when I went inside to ask why so long, I was told they were changing their oil. Inside of restaurant was disgustingly dirty and nasty. Decided right then that I would take a refund and go elsewhere. However I was told I had to wait for a manager to get there and refund my money. As I waited the cook came up to front counter as well as other employees. The cook flat out said they gave my order to other customer. She knew i was in the right. Kitchen looks greasy, dirty and hasn't been cleaned in years. When manager finally showed up looking like a two cent hooked with short shorts and belly hanging out, it was gross. She didn't want to refund my money. Long story short, I called ripley pd.. they were rude and automatically took the side of the black witch as they were black. City of hospitality my ass !!
