Hoping for better results the third I time tried my (bad) luck I actually asked if they could not overcook the spring roll this time please. Well that certainly worked. The spring roll was SLIGHTLY less overcooked (about 1 shade of chocolate brown lighter) and the brown asbestos wing was unrolled only about 10-15mm. If that is their improvement rate I dont think I could live long enough for them to learn that a well cooked spring roll is not supposed to be a substitute for a short crowbar. As far as false advertising goes the spring rolls they actually dish up are totally dis-similar to the image of a plate of spring rolls on their web-site.

Basically yiros meat with pita bread, chips and sauce of your choice. And they even have the balls to name the beef one Mad Cow! And if you have a sweet tooth.........make sure you grab a deep fried mars bar!!! The only place I know that sells them (sure there are probably others but I don't know where).

But maybe next time I will ask him for just a little chicken salt. They did have cooked chooks in there ready to go and they smelled great. The seafood in the fridge looked nice and fresh too. I looked at the menu and they are CHEAP! Much cheaper than most other chicken shops. Like a 1/4 chook hot pack is only $7.00. That's about $2 cheaper than other places and if you are buying for my family that would mean I would save $10, for a family of 5, compared to buying elsewhere. For a family on a budget - that's enough of a saving to make me want to go there. Even a hamburger or steak sandwich with the lot are only $6.50 each! Hot dogs with the lot for $5! Anyway, we went there to pick it up at 6.30 - well, the shop was packed as usual, but my partner STILL had to wait amongst everyone else ... so what was the point of ordering and paying in advance?? It's got actual king prawns instead of those little ones all the others have and it just tastes amazing! The shop owner says he goes through it by the bucket loads it's just that popular. The other food is pretty good too. The chips are yummy, the fish is fresh and the chicken is tasty. They also offer burgers, steak sandwiches, yiros', spring rolls, chicko rolls, prawns, selection of fish, nine different salads, chicken nuggets, veggies, the list goes on! New owners have recently taken over this place and given it a revamp, so get down and support them while also enjoying what they have to offer.
