Why have a drive thru if you are just going to be pulling up to the front. I waited an hour for my food and then it wasn't my order.

Is probably the worst place to each in Osceola . Customer service is horrible, employees rude, lazy and disrespectful.

Loved everything about Gus's! I avoid meat mostly, but I was…read morenot about to miss trying famous fried chicken! The restaurant is tucked away on a small, empty street. There is plenty of parking in a lot across the street. We went inside and found it to be pretty busy, but we got a table for 4 quickly. The place was clean and homey-feeling and I loved the fact that they used disposable plates, utensils and napkins! It is probably way easier on the crew to clean up, and it adds to the relaxed atmosphere. I had the corn nuggets to start, yum! We finished them easily, they were so good. Then the entree of my chicken tenders, beans, and Mac and cheese came out, along with my sweet tea. The sweet tea was perfect, I drank a whole one during my meal and they gave me another to go in the souvenir Gus's cup. The food was just great, chicken was juicy and perfectly crunchy on the outside. Beans and Mac and cheese, delicious! I ate all of it even though I was stuffed. I even went so far as to order a piece of pecan pie for dessert, but unfortunately our server came back out to tell us they were out of it! Guess it wasn't meant to be (this time)! Our server was really friendly during our whole meal, chatted with us a little and made sure we had a great experience! Bottom line.... Go to Gus's!

Southwest egg rolls were unexpected menu item and we will definitely order again. We created our own deep dish pizza with pepperoni, bacon bits and extra sauce and it is by far the best pizza we have had! We have decided next time we are craving pizza, we will make the drive all the way from Memphis just to have it here at Gary's. That's saying something! Can't wait to try the calzone and pasta too! Thanks for such a great experience and awesome food! Valerie & Gary (the OTHER Gary. )

During lunchtime, this old-school pizza joint has a phenomenal special. From a list of around…read moreseven or so food items to choose from, you can get one food choice plus a drink for only $10.99 (plus tax). I opted for the calzone and unsweetened iced tea. My ham, bacon, and cheddar calzone was massive and delicious. (They offer three different flavors of calzones.) The iced tea was extraordinarily refreshing on this hot and humid day. The dining area was probably about 60% filled at 12:30 p.m. with lunch patrons. I didn't hear anyone complaining. The thing is, Osceola has a deficit of good dining choices. I take my victories where I can. There's nothing outstanding about the service, as a few of the waitresses acted as if they'd have rather been anywhere else but helping customers at a restaurant. The interior is decorated okay, and the kitschy wall hangings at least break up the monotony. The men's restroom was surprisingly well-kept, and atypically had zero malodor to it. If in the area, I would return again, if only because there really isn't a variety of choices in this area.

5 stars times a million!!!…read more I was visiting my dad's for his birthday. I visited back in August and I'm still thinking about it. Before my flight back to California I needed one final southern meal (no good southern cookin on the west coast.) I am so happy I chose this place. First the staff, 10/5 stars!!! We didn't realize they were closing soon (about 30 minutes from the time of arrival) and showed up. The staff not only didn't even mention it but generously accommodated us! When we realized, we apologized and they were so kind and understanding. Now the food. WOW! So grateful I listened to my gut because I saved the best for last. We ordered a spread of food. Catfish, yams, fried chicken, collard greens, cobbler, etc. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Catfish was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Each bite almost made me cry tears of joy. Home cooked taste but from the friend/family member that can tear it up in the kitchen. You can taste the love, dedication and pride. The prices are worth it for the quality and quantity. The atmosphere was welcoming and chill. Definitely a good spot for a family dinner/lunch after church. Again staff were so warm and kind. Overall we had an amazing experience. If I lived closer it would absolutely be on my rotation. If you live nearby make it yours. You will not regret supporting this small business. I will be back as soon as I can!
