Teenapers in the back of the kitchen kept hooting and hollering babble. The sheboon upfront could not hear my order in drive thru and needed me to come to the window because the teenapers were so loud. Sheboon was the only worker. The entertainment was just as okay as the food. And it made me realize I don't have to eat this slop and live like this. A very good visit, ironically. We went to the store in Macedonia Ohio on 6/5/25 in the afternoon around 3:00 and was greatly disappointed. Furst off all, it was absolutely freezing in there. The cashier was rude, threw our change on the counter which slid off onto the floor. My husband is going on 80 years old so picking it up isn't the easiest. Our chicken sandwiches were good, chicken was very meaty. the fries were barely warm, hardly ate them. one employee came out from the back talking and laughing on her cell phone nearly the whole time we were there. Very rude and annoying. We didn't care that her friend was graduating etc. Just before we left, she finally went outside to talk. I ordered 8 piece nuggets and saw that I was only given 6, with food being expensive I decided to turn around to get the order corrected. I walked into the store greeted a lady (who claimed she was the GM) and told her that I had only received 6 nuggets. Her response is that she KNOW that she put 8 nuggets in the container. She kept repeating this but I know it's not true. I couldn't believe that's how she was deciding to respond rather she knew it or not. There was heavy traffic in the area and turned around. I want what is paid for that should've been an easy apology and fix. She did give me to 2 nuggets but I asked about a spicy sauce and asked for a sauce which she wanted me to pay a $1 for. Now, I would've paid for the sauce with no issue had that encounter in which she was calling me a liar, didn't happen. I said, "Could it go towards the inconvenience of me having to turn around in that heavy traffic to come back to get what I actually paid for" and she said no. SO...I explained to her how I thought that wasn't great customer service and she was content with not giving it. I bought 3piece original. The entire bottom of the box was saturated with grease. Tried eating one piece taste was off. Threw the rest in trash. I called to ask is there a better time to get chicken since this is second time from this store. The young man was super polite and apologized asked if I could bring it back. Thinking maybe would get fresh cooked or money refunded. After waiting, the GM of store took one look at the saturated box, greasy chicken and shook her head saying "that is the way it is. Do you want extra crispy? " No apology. Quasi rude. When I got home instead of the thigh, breast and wing I had originally ordered. She gave me 2breasts. KFC nailed the chicken sandwich! If I had four thumbs, I'd give four thumbs up. So two thumbs up on the KFC classic chicken sandwich! Went through the drive thru. Noticed right away how clean the parking lot was. I could clearly hear the person who took my order. The staff person I interacted with was helpful, efficient, nice and took a lot of care in packing my order. Also want to add that it took me about 20 minutes to get home and the sandwiches were still hot and the slaw remained cold. The sandwich was very meaty! Juicy too! The bun was fresh and liked the pickles and sauce. In my opinion, best fast-food chicken sandwich around! I have always enjoyed the seasoning on the chicken at KFC but the last time I got food from here, the chicken was super greasy and the mashed potatoes were runny. More recently, I used the drive-thru to place an order and informed them of a coupon. Was told they do not accept coupons. Left and went to Popeyes. This could have been a five star rating had the night manager been cool about his metrics instead he was dick about it! Yelp needs negative stat ratings. All that being said, here's what happened to me tonight. I finished my shift as a Amazon delivery driver and wanted dinner so I stopped at this KFC the young man that serviced me excellent service, friendly and professional. Once I received my food I checked it and I took a couple bites of my fries and the rude night manager magically appeared and asked me was everything OK and I said yes he replied in a rude tone. We're on a timer because I was on the phone I did not address him the way I should have so I pulled off and parked at the exit of the property after discussing it with my friend what happened? That's when we realized the night manager could've been more civil about asking me to move. Food was awful, ordered two 3 pc chicken meals with two sides, I specifically asked for the meal to be mixed with white and dark meat, both came with all dark meat and tasted awful, the grease tasted very old and was very dark as evident both on the kfc liner and on my plate at home. This place is new and doesn't show much wear and tear. When you think fast food you generally think relatively quick service, however the employees move in two speeds at this location. Those speeds are slow and stop! It took a little over 10 minutes to get a number one combo. I would try the drive through if you must. Went to the drive thru , Couldn't get the tenders (All Out), Couldn't get the 24 wings because they only had 12. Charged us for the wings and didn't give us the wings. The cashier tried to tell me there was no ice in my cup when I heard it and opened up the cup to look in there before telling her.
