We do not do fast food very often, but we won't be back to this KFC. We had a negative experience at the local Popeyes and thought we'd try something different today. Ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the Popcorn Chicken Combo/Meal. The spicy sandwich had hardly any of the spicy sauce on it, but somehow the entire base bun was completely soaked! Most likely it was sitting under a heater and all condensation got it wet. The popcorn chicken was mainly tiny small pieces of just bread and no chicken which was disappointing too. The fries and biscuits were pretty cold, not even lukewarm. The biscuits were very chewy and seemed leftover and not fresh. Instead of a dense biscuit flavor it was more doughy and tasted underdone. The mashed potatoes with gravy was pretty good tasting though. The sauces are very small, I recommend asking for multiple of whatever kind you're wanting with your meal. *Cannot speak much on the service as we ordered through DoorDash and did not have direct contact with them. We did receive everything we ordered* read more

I can't give it less than 1 star. Don't use the app, it lies and will tell you your food is ready after it's waited 10 -30 minutes to give the order to the onsite workers. They informed me that when the app says it's ready they are just getting the order so there is no way for the food to be onetime. Plan on waiting 10 - 30 minutes for fast food chicken. Thats after the 20 + minutes the app had you wait. And if you order after 9pm, the app will let you order just for the staff to cancel your order when the apps says its ready. I was told "It's a known issue " that provides a horrible customer experience, a horrible worker experience and shows KFC doesn't care about the customer experience, so who knows if they care about the food they sold. They just appear to care about sales and not the people read more

I placed an order online through the mobile app at 7:14pm with a pick up time at 7:28pm, I showed up at 7:35pm and was told the mac n cheese won't be finished for 5 minutes. I waited and waited and waited, and wasn't give my order until 7:51pm. Keep in mind, the app stated a pick up time at 7:28 vs 7:51 just for mac and cheese. It was good but not worth the wait. Plus, look at the original recipe chicken I ordered, wtf????? Ugh ok plus the men's bathroom was disgusting. read more

Went through the drive through the drive through, had to wait over 20 minutes for their 10 piece special. Shame on me not checking before driving off. Got all the way home and the order was wrong. Called to let them know that they messed up the order and all I got was a phone hang up when asked if they would offer a discount for the next order. This location really needs to do better! Their not about the customers. read more

It sure would be nice if this location could get an order correct. My last 2 visit order was incorrect and didn't look until I got home to eat the meal. Need people who pay attention to what people are ordering and get it right. DO BETTER KFC!! read more

Great service and excellent chicken! Great tasting drinks, excellent tasting chicken

I'd give 0 stars if I could. Chicken was all soggy and falling apart. Sides were warm, not hot. We should have looked at the yelp reviews before stopping. Don't waste your money here. read more

KFC - Soggy, falling apart chicken. - Fast Food Near Me - Hutto, Texas

Have been twice to the KFC on knowles dr in Hutto, both times orders were incorrect, ordered all dark meat bucket, drumsticks and thighs, both times, multiple pieces of white meat included. Orders never correct, chicken dried out and hard like under a heat lamp or old, brought it home and discovered the issues but didn't want to drive all the way back. My dogs at the house wouldn't even eat it , so bad and dried out. Sent email to KFC hq and they even sent me a 25.00 coupon for a free meal, that was over a month ago, haven't even gone back to redeem coupon knowing how bad this place is. My advice if you want chicken in the Hutto area, go to Golden Chick. Wayyyyy better. read more

I have tried getting a bucket 4 times and they never have enough pieces. Always have to go somewhere else. I love FKC but this place never has enough food cooked read more

How on earth does a KFC not have white meat in original recipe at 7:45pm? And then not even offer to make any. After I put in my order, at the drive thru, this is the conversation: Restaurant employee: "We don't have white meat in original recipe." Me: "Are you going to make any?" Restaurant employee: "We can...long pause...but it will take a while." Hutto, TX 78634 7:45pm, 6/13/2024. So now, I'm at Popeyes - spending my money. read more

Do not I mean do not waste your time with this place. The food is nasty & the help is pathetic! Waited at the counter 10 min maybe longer before anyone even came out & when she did ..she was awful No hello No thank you ...NOTHING!! They should close this place down and cut their losses Otherwise the KFC name is being ruined I sent corporate an email as well not that it will do any good. Skip it & thank me There is golden chick right down the road. read more

Went for lunch today 12/16/19. This is a brand new location that I have passed a few times. The other places I was considering were both closed on Mondays. The place is small but well appointed. Everything was new and clean. I was a little surprised that they do not have combos that don't need a drink. I had my own water so I ended up getting a combo and not using the drink. They win on that one. The food was hot and fresh. Loved the potato wedges. The wings were also tasty. read more

Wanted to get a 16-piece meal for dinner at 6:14pm on a Thursday and were told it would be a 45 minute wait for chicken. Are you kidding me???? I would give it a zero if it would let you. Canceled my pickup order for no reason. Went to store and it was closed during cushiness hours. Doors were locked. Called and no one answered. People were waiting in line at the drive thru not knowing yet no one was there. Really? read more

Found our way into the drive-thru of this KFC. While the worker that took our order was polite, the quality of the food was trash! My wife ordered strips and they seemed to be fine, but the 4-piece that I ordered was soggy and gross looking. I couldn't even eat it. I can't believe they had the audacity to serve this!!! read more

The guy in the drive thru this evening was rude, can't speak loud enough To understand, and then got our order wrong. Then when I explained he got it wrong, he offered to charge us for the other piece of chicken I originally asked for. I understand he entered it wrong, but then do the right thing customer service wise and give me the other piece for free due to your mistake. Fast food these days is overpriced and everyone wants to get paid more, yet they suck at doing the job correctly. I won't be going back to this location no matter how close it is to my house. read more

KFC - 3 piece fried 3 pc. Chicken Box - Fast Food Near Me - Hutto, Texas

I recommend ordering online as some of the prices were different from the location. The 8pc chicken tenders were $10 online compared to $16.99 at the drive-thru. Also we went around 6pm and the restaurant door was locked during business hours. Went through the drive-thru and the person helping us had a hard time hearing (sounded like he was older) that didn't bother me. However, he did come off rude. We ordered a "Mac n' cheese bowl" and he responded "a what?". We repeat the order "one mac n' cheese bowl". He responds " so what do you want??? The bowl, the meal? Which is it?" There's other ways to ask this in this profession. A simple "bowl or meal?" Would've been okay. Maybe he's having a bad day. Also every time I come to this location they are always out of something. I asked for butter for the biscuits and they didn't have any. Thank goodness they had the honey cause usually they're out of it. Also 50/50 chance you won't get the chicken you want. I'm 0/3 on getting Extra crispy chicken at this location. I'm just not a fan of original. Do better KFC. read more

Today, we came to eat a Sunday meal after church with our sons. We ordered a #10 Combo, #14 Combo, the Mac n cheese bowl with the new nuggets, a chicken breast and another nugget meal plus two extra sides for my youngest son. The chicken sandwiches were old like the chicken had been cooked earlier and sat under a lamp for at least a few hours. The fries were overcooked and greasy like they were fried then fried again to warm up. The Mac n cheese was really thick and a little dry on top. For the amount of money we paid, it would've been nice to have fresh food. My husband's sandwich was made incorrectly so they remade it. The second sandwich looked even worse than the first one. I remember having better experiences at KFC but will not return to this location. It's sad that restaurants want to charge higher prices for a lesser quality meal. read more

Horrible Chicken!!! Wasn't even FRIED!!! Defeats the KFC name!!! Bad customer service. Would never recommend to anyone.

I'm not the one to write a review a bad one at that but this place treated my mom and I like trash. I've never been treated this way by any establishment in my life. My mom came down and wanted KFC since they don't have one in the place she lives. 1st they wouldn't sell me what I was ordering. They kept messing with me and telling me no or it would take 30 min. I gave them constructive feedback about customer service. I was not rude or anything. Then they kept trying to show off in front of some ladies. I know this because when I was ordering he told her anything for you beautiful in Spanish. Maybe he thought I couldn't understand. We asked for the manager and was told he did not want talk to us. The kid told us to go back there if we wanted to talk to him. So my mom started to walk around the counter to talk to him. He was standing there the whole time listening to this. Jacob was his name. When we went back there and seen him just standing there. He kicked us out of his store and treated us just like those kids. I recorded most of this. I would post it but I did say the F work a few times. If anyone wants to see it please email me at. jennieannemarie@gmail. Jacob how are you gonna let your employees treat people like this. The whole time the only man in the restaurant sat there acting like he was shocked vie they did us. Then when I walked out the door he was talking crap about us. Who raised those boys. If read more

I made a pick up order through UberEats. When I arrived they had closed early for bad weather (some rain but no ice or snow at the time). They had locked the door and taped a sign they would be closed tomorrow but there was nothing about already closing that day. Went through the drive-thru since the app was saying my order was done and ready for pickup. Manager rudely stated he was closed before I had said a word. I tried to explain we had already paid and the food was allegedly there while he interrupted repeatedly and spoke over me to say he closed early and had put everything away over and over again. When I asked him to cancel the order, he told me to do it and shut off the intercom. A pointless 25 minute round trip followed by some more time dealing with UberEats because the manager couldn't be bothered to find the button needed to prevent orders being made. read more

The guy in the window was so rude! I have trouble seeing the menu and this guy was so rude and unhelpful! Then I need to pull around and wait for my order and he didn't tell me to pull round after taking my payment. Are you freaking kidding me, I placed an order an hour ago and when I came to pick it up it wasn't ready. An hour.

I'm usually a Popeyes person, but I decided to try here a couple of months back. I was the only person in the drive thru. I placed my order, the person read it back. Got home and it was totally wrong. Not what I ordered. Thought I would give them another shot and it happened again. Order not correct. I mean how hard is it to get an order right when it's read back to me and I'm the only person in line at the time. read more

I'm gonna be as constructive as possible as this is a new location . But I bought a 12 piece and the only thing good was the side items . The chicken was too salty , fried with old grease and the legs looked small . I would like to think it's because it's new but man it was not very good at all . Maybe they needd better training idk read more

Food was ok. 2 star for crap service, there was a cashier in drive through that was smug, unhelpful when inquiring about a family meal that wasn't listed on the drive thru menu. So disappointed when visiting this kfc. While at the drive through window I overheard a supervisor screaming at the employee helping me at the window. I first thought it was a customer until I looked up and realized it was her supervisor. He then while screaming at her told her that " they can wait, where are they going to go?" Again in a loud screaming manor. I then realized he was speaking about me. I asked the young lady if I could speak to him. I could see him and he refused to come to the window which then made me raise my voice to let him know that it was not ok how he as speaking to his employee or how he was speaking about customers. He did engage in the conversation but would not come close to the window which seemed childish to me. I also proceeded to tell him it's not just what he said but how he said all of it. This KFC, needs to do some management training, or I guarantee they will not keep employees or customers operating like this. On a side note again the chicken was super dry hope they can fix these things read more

This is the WORST KFC in the Austin area! Consistently horrible service. Today I was told that they were "out of chicken" and it would be a 30 minute wait!?! I asked them why they were even open and then I went to Popeyes, down the road. Seriously, this place either just really needs to get their act together or else just permanently close. read more

I visited the new KFC in Hutto, Tx for the first & last time. I was shocked that the girl at the window was not wearing a mask or gloves given the covid-19 pandemic we are experiencing. she said they are provided but mandatory. I told her I would not be coming back & her response was "if that is what you want". maybe this store doesn't need by business & that's fine. website says you are taking precautions by employees wearing disposable masks. guess she thought she was too young & pretty to wear a mask. my 20 yr old grandson has the virus now so she is not too young. also, a receipt was not given. read more

I went there yesterday around 6:50, over an hour before they close. There was a very young guy working the drive through, he seemed new and nervous. He asked what my order was, I guess he didn't put it in the computer. Then the manager comes up, covered in tattoos and looking annoyed, he was a major jerk and that's keeping things polite. He basically chewed out this kid in front of me, the he was hitting the computer and slamming things. I told him it wasn't that serious, that no one was upset there was no need for him to act like that. Then he started being hateful to me. He said sarcastically "I'm so happy you're not mad. We close at 8 and it's not like I want to get out of here any f**cking time soon" then he just walked away. I've never had a employee, let alone the freaking manager cuss and have an attitude with me. Maybe if this guy hates his job so much he shouldn't work there! read more
