Don't go to KFC in Eastgate. I went today and ordered a 3 piece meal (so i would have some for later) and when I got to work there were only two drumsticks). I had my change still that I was given back ($7.51 so I spent $12.49). I went online just to see what it says and it says the 3 piece meal is $12.29 and then gives examples of what you get including breasts. When I spoke to them they said I could come and get another piece of chicken. I said I couldn't be there until 4ish and would like an original breast. She (the manager) then tells me I didn't pay for a breast and I could get another piece but not a breast. Like that's worth going back for. I thanked her and said "no need and I won't be back!" So, if by chance you go there don't drive away until you have checked your order. I won't be going back there. They blew it not me. read more

They were nice, but the food takes a very long time to get. I ordered ahead, was 10 minutes late, and still waited about 45 minutes

Would give a negative score if I could. Placed a large order (over $100) using mobile app. Order placed at 4 pm to pick up at 7pm that night. Arrived at restaurant at 7:10 to be told it would be another 15 minutes. Waited for nearly 40 minutes before we got the order. Took it to the park to find they did not include biscuit or chicken tenders. Call to tell them and they said they would need to have the manager deal with it and try to say we were lying about the missing items. Would not order from them again. read more

My wife pulled in the drive-thru at 915pm. They close at 10pm. There was only 1 car in front of her and she had to wait 15 minutes. The car pulled up to receive their order. When my wife pulled up to place her order, they told her sorry but we ran out of food, we can't serve you. I called and asked to speak with the manager. The young man said his name was Lee and was the manager. I asked for the name and number to his boss. He said that he doesn't have one that they are currently training his future boss. So, I called the KFC corporate. The placed me on hold and never came back on to address my concerns. Guess it is Lee's chicken for my family moving forward. read more

After waiting in the Eastgate South Dr. drive-thru line for over 20 minutes, the girl at the window took my card, handed me my drink which I thought felt very light. It was because it was only partially filled. I took the lid off and asked her to top it off and she said she couldn't because of Covid. I said that's ridiculous as I sat with a partially filled cup. She then, looked a me, bent forward and clapped her hands as if she was talking to a child and said AND I QUOTE "I was going to give you another drink BUT...." At that point, I told her just forget it, I just won't be back. She said Ok, that's fine! So after a 20+ minute wait, mediocre food and awful customer service I won't be going back! I think it's safe to assume after that experience, customer service and customer retention aren't important to them. read more

Called in a carry out order, placed my order. The young guy basically told me that that's not what I truly wanted. Then proceeded to speak in their language to a rude woman in the background. She then got on the line and started screaming at me. I should have just stopped there but I continued and placed an order any way. She them screamed "10 MINUTES" before hanging up. I got there to pick up my order, needless to say it wasn't ready. She called me up to pick up the order and once I paid, I then held out a tip and she looked at me so strange. I went in today for a quick lunch with my family. Their weren't too many people in the store and the girl working the front counter was friendly and quick with out food. We got the 8 piece bucket and all of the food was really good. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection. The breading on the original style chicken is simply amazing. I havent ate chicken from here since I got food poisoning years ago after a trip though the drive thru. I refuse to eat any KFC chicken from anywhere now. I do like their mac and cheese and when my husband or kids eat here, I may get a small mac and cheese and slaw. The cole slaw is usually great, rarely it can be dry but usually it is great. Service is usually quick. As far as portions, my husband likes the tenders but they are almost always small. My kids like the popcorn chicken but its hit or miss on if the chicken is dried out. I like to check their chicken to make sure it is cooked and doesnt look weird (food poisoning paranoia). So, plus 3 ( because I cannot do 2 1/2) stars for great sides, pricing and service. Minus 2 stars for my bitterness about the food poisoning years ago, the size of the tenders, and the amount of times the popcorn chicken has been dried out. read more

Went to this location a few months ago. I had two coupons and they would only let me use one so I drove around the drive thru twice. Went back tonight with a 20 pc dark meat bucket for $20 coupon. They said they don't have 20 pc dark meat buckets so I couldn't use my coupon. I told them that it didn't have to be in a bucket, just honor the coupon. The dining area was closed and there was no way to resolve the issue other than go through the drive through again, which I didn't have an additional spare 20 minutes to do. The service has gone from bad to worse. In the past they have gotten orders wrong and didn't find out till I got home . Now Tuesday the 28th showed up about an hour and ten minuets before closing . they informed me they had only one piece of extra crispy and it was white meat. Said sorry and left. Tonight Wednesday the 29th go back around 8 and tried to order 8 piece just chicken extra crispy all dark and was told they could sell me 8 pieces of dark extra crispy I would have to split it up between regular and extra crispy. Again I left and will never go back to KFC. And the reason I wanted extra crispy was is the regular is usually extremely moist. And the extra crispy is not really crispy it is more like the original. read more

I don't eat KFC very often at all. When I do I am always left with regret. I ordered the new Nashville hot tenders, it was disappointing. Served with a sticker stating: "warning. You are about to eat the best spicy chicken" or something along those lines. It lacked heat, sauce, and flavor. I could see the spices on the chicken but I really couldnt taste it. The chicken was slightly dried out so I assume it had been sitting awhile and lost its flavor. The container had oil along the bottom that was absorbed by the sad little biscuit. This made the biscuit gross because it tasted of old fry oil. They also include 3 to 4 sandwich pickles on top of the chicken. I dont know why. The meal was lackluster and I ended up eat just one of the tenders and trashing it. The popcorn chicken nuggets were very dried out with very little meat. The potato wedges were soggy and old. The only thing that was good about the order was the coleslaw. The drive-thru microphone needs some work, either they cant hear me or i cant hear them. It's a guessing game until you get to the window and confirm if your order is correct. read more
