Yesterday I went to the drive thru. Ordered a chicken pot pie combo. Got home and found they gave me a combo bowl. It was really disgusting. I threw out at least 1/2. Seriously. The worst! Today - we literally had gravy everywhere! I ordered a 12-piece family meal for my family today and when I got home - noticed that the gravy was literally everywhere except for the inside of the bucket of chicken. It was absolutely horrible! We also noticed that our individual fry order was missing - this is both funny and ironic as there is a sign literally taped to the drive-thru window that says - "No refunds - we guarantee your order will be made right". Well, this is twice in two weeks that my order has been wrong. (I swung through last week for a large mashed potatoes and got a large Mac and cheese). I have also noticed that the large sides have gotten smaller in size with the new plastic containers. So now we pay higher prices for smaller quantities of food? Not cool. Don't Purchase a meal at this KFC 6081 Gender Road. They give you burnt (Dry rotted) food plus missing extra food that was ordered, then tell you they don't give refunds. We purchased a family meal plus extra food at the drive thru window and paid $72.24 cash after coming from a funeral for our loved one. They actually took the food back and stole our money. We never received a refund. Kaitlyn (All Tattooed up) who claimed she was the acting manager was so rude and her side kick Aaron who wasn't even in uniform and was wearing a orange hat on his head. The restaurant was very dirty, but we didn't know that until we went inside the restaurant to get a refund. We ordered through the drive thru window, which no where at the restaurant does it say no refunds. Needless to say, we called the Corporate Number twice while there and got no where with that. We even called the Sheriff's Office, but they said it was a civil dispute, and they don't come out, but 10 minutes later they showed up because Kaitlyn called them because we asked for our $72.24 cash refund. Lord knows what lie she told to get them to come. We believe we were discriminated against because we are black. Even the Regional General Manager Kevin Axline lied about going to contact us to give us our refund. We have our receipt and pictures of everything. First, it's hard to have an impromptu picnic in the dog park when you're given no utensils, plus dirty looks when you drive back and walk in to request utensils for the order you already made. Worse, halving to switch meals because one person is allergic to corn, and this is what we get when ordering a "famous bowl" WITHOUT corn (see photo). The owner of this location needs to clean house. Stopped by around 6:30 and ordered a shrimp meal and a piece of fish (KFC/LJS combo location). First they wouldn't take another drive thru order until completing the one ahead of you. I pulled up to the window and they ask me to pull forward and they'll bring it out. 20 minutes later, still no food. I pulled around and went inside. I asked how much longer it would be and they just gave me a refund. They didn't even pretend like they were interested in filling the order. This is just the most recent example. The place has gotten worse and worse over time, and now I'm finally done giving them a chance. If you want chicken go a little further down the street to Popeyes. They're friendly and courteous with their customers. If you want fish? Might as well forget it. Popeyes has shrimp though if you don't mind a little spice. read more

I normally don't complain like this. Monday April 13 @ approx 8pm we ordered a crispy bucket meal and a 5 piece tender meal. Got original half breaded and soggy, 4 out of 5 tenders (cold and forgot the sides). biscuits smashed into chicken bucket, napkins waded up and shoved in bag. Lets not forget the we're underpaid essential workers tip jar on the ledge of the drive thru window. I'm 52 and this was by far the worst experience ever / anywhere. In a time like now showing you care and providing the best is what we should all be doing. I manage an essential business myself and we have stepped up to today's challenges and am thankful to be working at all during these trying times. Just before 7 pm on a weeknight, I order 2 meals and it took 3 attempts to get it rung up moderately correct. Received the wrong content, no drinks and a sour attitude. It was our first time ever that my wife and I went to this location today, Sunday, for eat in lunch. We were warmly greeted by Jaylan (counter person). The manager (Faith) happened to pass by and warmly welcomed us to KFC as well. The restaurant was spotlessly clean with all available eat in tables clean and ready to use. We ordered the flavored chicken tenders, mashed potatoes with gravy, pot pie, biscuit and sodas. EVERYTHING was top shelf. The food was fresh, hot and was exactly correct as to what we ordered. We could tell the place was well managed in every aspect and we will be coming back here regularly as a result. We happen to live closer to a different KFC but it is not nearly as nice and we will drive a little farther for this store. Great job! read more

We wanted to order a large number of chicken tenders, so I called ahead to make sure they had enough. They said they would get our order all packed up so it would be ready when we got there. However, when my husband got there to pick up the order, the guy that had taken my order on the phone told him that they didn't have any chicken tenders ready and that they were all frozen. Then he said "I would have called you back to let you know if I had written the number down. Sorry." Seriously?!? Why did he think I called ahead to make sure they had enough? Maybe because I didn't want to drive all the way over there to be told they didn't have them? Why wouldn't he have made sure they had them while I was on the phone? I'm so angry! Around 6:30 p.m. on a Saturday came to this restaurant for a few pieces of chicken (5-piece dark which is usually 3 thighs and 2 legs). Purchased my items at the counter to go and waited for my order. 2 customers who ordered after me at the counter were served first (no big deal), but when they got to my order --- no thighs at all (original recipe). It was hilarious watching the counter person check and re-check the bin for thighs. I swear she checked the SAME bins 5 times as if she expected the chicken parts to magically appear once she closed the bin and reopened it. Anyway, she is a nice person and while she offered me 5 legs, that really wasn't comparable to my order (at least offer to throw in 2 more legs or something!) and I declined asking for my money back. She had to get a supervisor (who I guess -- had to get another supervisor) and finally he was standing in front of the register. I assumed he was advised why I wanted a refund but he looked at me dumbfounded. I explained I wanted a refund because they DID NOT HAVE THE CHICKEN to fill my order. As others have pointed out ONE OF THE SLOWEST fast food places I have been too (I actually come here about once a week) but getting a refund was even SLOWER. LOL! I gave 2 stars (instead of 1) because on other occasions they have served me what I wanted (though I do have another hilarious story I should have reported about a year ago about a server who could not get my order right no matter how many he times he tried - never saw him after about a 2 weeks so I guess he wasn't cut-out for the chicken business). Anyway - whoever owns this franchise should be dinged by KFC because of the reviews they see here. I am only giving this place one star because no stars is not an option. I get that it's fast food and you get what you pay for, but my experience here was beyond awful. The girl working the register had no idea what she was doing and had to go find someone to help her three different times. Then, both her and the fool that helped her told me that something I could clearly see on the 12 foot menu behind them was not, in fact, an option, and if my daughter really wanted what she said she did the meal option for it was $3 more than what it actually said on the menu. Ummmm...what? Because we were hungry and already there, we did order food, against my better judgement. Although, there were no less than 10 people working in the kitchen that I could see and only 5 other customers, a family of four who already had their food and a guy placing an order after us, they were still unable to get our food out to us in less than 17 minutes. Not only did we wait way too long, but 1/3 of order wasn't in the bag, nor was there any silverware for us to eat our food with! Which was substandard even by fast food standards, by the way! Every time is visit I cringe.... But, my kids love the food. Never before have I documented it, and always gave it the old, "Give them another shot." If it's not the unprofessional (I mean really unprofessional) girl taking my order and working the drive thru window, the fact that they NEVER have BBQ sauce or applesauce for the kids meals, I now carry a box of forks in my car purchased from my local grocery because I have never been given a fork on my weekly visit. I became so tired of unloading my 3 kids to walk inside to get my forks. Or, maybe it's that I have also never received a receipt for my order, or that today I received the most disgusting container for my sons chicken strips. It looked like it had fallen face down on the ground and then kick around a few times before someone decided to pick it up to either place my food in, or put back on the stack of containers for me to be the lucky recipient. When I very nicely parked my car, and went into the restaurant to bring it to their attention, every employee crowded around to stare and tell me that their containers never touch the ground... And then stare blankly some more. Clearly this one did and all I ask is that you throw it away. Maybe it didn't touch the ground, but if you see a container appears to be contaminated and dirty. Throw it away! The edges were worn! It had definitely brushed up against something. No fresh food, no refund, just a rebuttal and blank stare until I threw my food away in their trash can and walked out. This location is ridiculous and filthy. No more, "give them another shot."
