Wow, what an excellent KFC! We stopped for a late lunch on the way from Pittsburgh to Columbus and boy were my wings tired. Ok, we weren't flying but I was excited to try the Beyond Chicken. I was also happy they had the Nashville Hot Sauce at this location as some don't carry it any longer. They were accommodating in giving me a side of the Nashville Hot Sauce. Theirs is one of the better renditions of Nashville Hot (spicy and flavorful). Staff was friendly, food was fresh and delicious (they made the Beyond Fried Chicken to order), clean inside and it was a convenient off/on heading west on I-70. read more

Stopped in here seven hours in to a nine-hour car ride. Needless to say, I was feeling both crotchety and sore as I stopped for a pit stop. Ever the dutiful citizen, I went to buy something in return for the bathroom privileges. The cashier was incredibly kind to the group in front of me, which made me smile. One star is too much! Ordered and prepaid for chicken for 125 people, went to pick it up (30 minutes late) and they forgot to make it! "Manager" said "I don't work on sundays" Obviously she doesn't work at all! She didn't even attempt to fix the problem just gave a lot of excuses! Honestly, pretty good chicken. Good breading, many ways to get the chicken as well. In a sandwich, strips, popcorn chicken, a chicken waffle sandwich, legs, wings, etc. The downfall is the prices, though the $5 Fill-Up is a great deal. It gets expensive if you take a group or family there. Sides are good, including corn, mashed potatoes, and potato wedges. Though after these 3 options, they sides are below average. The biscuits are exquisite considering it is a fast food chain. The sweet tea is decent, but maybe too sweet. Other than that, basic pop selection. Speaking of sauces, Finger Lickin Good sauce is pretty good along with their Buffalo sauce. Their butter is liquify and pretty good. Also, their cookies are pretty good, but they used to be bigger and better, lately they've changed and are more like a store bought type. Lastly, it's a classic chicken joint with below average prices for fast food, but has been around forever and deserves some respect. read more
