The food came out pretty quickly, and tastes similar to any other KFC, but that's probably the only positive thing I could say about this location. We went through the drive-thru to order and when we said we needed just a second the woman taking our order cursed. She also sucked her teeth, multiple times, and just answered with "mmhmm" When we drove around to the window she rolled her eyes at us and did not say a single word as she shoved the food at the car window. Opened the box and looked in and said WTF IS THIS. The chicken was SOOOO DARK AND DRIED UP... looked liked they been cooked in some ole ass grease sat in the bin and been cooked again and sat. At 8:00 U was told that my order was going to take 15 minutes for the chicken to be cooked so could I please pull around front. It's now 8:50 and I am still waiting. All the cars that pulled up front after me are gone so they not only lied about how long it would take they filled every order after mine first. Literally always over cooked burnt pieces and most pieces are the wings and drums. They never give you equal parts of the chicken even when asked. Indian head does not have much places to eat so it's very disappointing. Our family literally drives all the way to la plata to order KFC or Popeyes because we gave up on giving KFC another chance. Paying $50 for family meal to only get small burnt pieces each time even when I address this issue to the workers. Either you need start making more chicken breast and thighs or monitor the employee and see if they are saving the best pieces to take home. That's how much I don't trust this location. Got to be the worst location ever. I came in over two hours before closing and wanted a bucket meal for me and my family. And they had no breaded chicken cooked and had none cooking, nor were they trying to get any started. So i got the godawful grilled chicken instead and what i got was super small chicken bits that easily could have came from a bunch of pigeons instead. This is the absolute worst restaurant that ever existed. There has to be a 100% turnover rate at this place, there is always a new manager on the few occasions that I have gone there. The manager is a reflection of the restaurant and headquarters, it seems as though no matter how many complaints are made at KFC headquarters, things remain the same. I tried placing an order through the app for 8 pieces of chicken for $10, but received message that the restaurant was closed. It was only 9:27 pm and the restaurant closes at 10:00 pm. I drove up to the restaurant, only a few miles away, go to drive thru explained the aforementioned and ask if I could place the order. The person at the drive up said yes and then she sounded exasperated, I told her it sound like I was bothering her and she said let out a sigh. At 9:36 she tried telling me they were closing, truth be told the restaurant always look close, as there is hardly a lot of cars in the parking lot. She told me she couldn't give me the deal and that 8 pieces of chicken would be $15, I was like no way, then she said I could give it to you for ahhh $12.99, no $13.99. I ask if she was making up her own prices. I ask if she was the manager and she said yes. I parked and went inside the store. I told her that she was totally unprofessional, very rude and told her employee standing behind the counter to not learn any of the manager's bad behavior. I told the manager that I would be contacting KFC headquarters and she was like okay. To bad that behavior seemed to be the norm for her and she was quite comfortable putting it on display. I've been here twice recently. The first time I ordered the 3 piece tender $5 fill up. They put everything in the box expect the chicken tenders. I didn't realize until I got home. Order chicken. Got no chicken. Only the sides. The second time I ordered the same thing. $5 fill up tender meal. All I got was the tenders and a biscuit. No mashed potatoes, no potato wedges, no cookie. The service is slow. The chicken is not appropriately distributed. They flake out on potato wedges. The biscuits are usually broken apart. They forget crucial items like gravy that goes with mashed potatoes. The list goes on. The only thing that keeps them in business is no competitors. read more

I will never return here again. Restaurant was not clean and the floors were very slippery as if it was mopped with cooking oil. There were ants marching one by one along the sticky counters, and all of this was happening at 11am. I think the health department needs to come inspect this place. I took pictures of the ants, but you could barely see them because it blended in with the spotty countertop. while ordering 4 pieces of dark meat and mac & cheese, the girl taking the order kept saying 3 piece. my husband repeated 4 piece 3 times and finally yelled it thinking she couldn't hear him. when we got up to pay, he asked the girl if she took his order. she said yes and he told her she didn't need to be so rude and needed to listen better. she responded that he didn't need to yell but she kept getting it wrong. she slammed the window. he honked the horn and asked to see a manager. another girl (thinking not the manager) came up and said she heard everything and he did yell. he did not deny it but said the girl kept getting the order wrong. this "manager" told him to never come back and also slammed the window. this place has always had inferior employees who constantly give the wrong food or leave things out. the only reason we go here is because i have stomach issues and somedays the mac & cheese is all i can eat. guess i need to find a replacement. we will not be wasting our money here again. this store is a very poor representation for the kfc corporation. read more

Absolutely the worse KFC I've ever been to, and I'm from Kentucky. Let me count the problems: 1. Never enough workers, 2. Slow to take your order, slow to receive your order, 3. Food is terrible - chicken looks terrible, mashed potatoes are bad, etc., Good points - they recently put some money into renovations but forget about customer service, food production, and output. Business owners need to pack up and go. We need a restaurant that best serves the community, because this does not. Service is always so slow. On multiple occasions we have gotten food that was cold. Or other times where we didn't get the correct items.

It's clear the staff (manager included) have no standards what so ever. Everything is terrible....the customer service, the cleanliness, the food, the wait. Their food is so horrible that I cringe any time I see a KFC...and I actually really liked KFC at one point! Now I'm afraid I'll get food poisoning. I've found both the food and service here satisfactory. The only complaint I have is they are constantly running out of food. Twice now I've visited on my way to Indian Head at around 5 pm only to be told they are out of chicken and it'll be at least 20 minutes until they can cook some more. Now I'm not a KFC franchisee but even I know that 5 pm should be a pretty busy time business wise. I mean this is when so many potential customers who don't want to cook dinner are on their way home.
