Check out the chicken leg all shriveled up and you call that a breast must have been a baby chicken.

If there was a zero rating I would definitely give it to this establishment. I ordered a 3 piece big box which consisted of 3 pcs. of chicken 2 sides and a biscuit along with a drink. I was never told that if I received a chicken breast it would be an upcharge. Got this home and no tableware packet, no biscuit and the chicken was fried extremely hard. I not only paid 13 and some change for this 10.99 box but had to wait numerous minutes besides all of the above. I guess the manager doesn't have his staff trained right. I owned 2 restaurants in the past and would never serve food like that to my customers. No one wants to return to an establishment to have them make it right when it should have been done right in the first place. Corporate needs to do Belton a favor and close this place down. I could have received a better chicken dinner down the road at Ingles and paid less. Smdh what a shame.

Our server could not have been more friendly. Based on her recommendation we tried the ham balls AND the praline bacon. So glad we did. They were decadent. Full of flavor. The Han balls melt in your mouth. My husband had the burger that had the pimento cheese on it. It came with french fries. Both were nice and hot. I tried the rooster bowl. A fried chicken breast on grits with scrambled eggs and gravy. I ate half and took half home with me knowing that I don't often eat food this rich. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are counting carbs and calories, don't come here. But if you want to go somewhere that you feel genuinely welcomed and are then fed incredible food, this is the place for you. Don't expect fancy. This is a laid back, come as you are place. And I'm so glad we did.

It's about 50 minutes to get here. Since there was no tomato pie appetizer, I felt calorie justified to up my lunch game to the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with corn. And that was finger lickin good, for sure. It's like eating in an old corner country store, because that's what it exactly is, with an additional large outdoor seating area. Service is friendly and attentive. Everything is made in house. Carrot cake is the good heavy kind with cream cheese frosting. All very delicious!

Booty's Fish House - Everyone gets two plates because of the long line. Fried whole fish have gotten too tiny to enjoy. Everything else was great as usual.

The food is served buffet-style and the offerings are Southern home cooking. The star of the show is the fried catfish, which on my recent visit felt like it melted in my mouth. Chicken, country ham tilapia, and Brunswick stew are among other offerings. There are also desserts. My only complaint on our recent visit was that the Brunswick stew was only lukewarm. On the night we visited, there was a bluegrass band for entertainment, but ambiance is sparse. This is a place that you come to eat, not to stare at the walls. Service is friendly, but being a buffet place, there isn't a lot of interaction aside from drinks and refills.

It's a buffet, of mostly fried food, seafood. They had some really great green beans, fried okra, fried shrimp, fried fish, Brunswick stew, and biscuits. There were some other things to try, including a couple of cobblers for dessert. there were some nice young ladies, cleaning off the tables and being active in the dining room, which was nice. They were watching to make sure our drinks were filled. The food was hot and good. I'm not sure if they redid the decorations inside, but they have some old Timey things on the walls, kinda like a country place! You do have to wait in line and go through the buffet, but everybody was courteous. It's definitely worth the money.

Hubby got the meat calzone, it had one most beautiful crusts I've seen in a while and he said it was delicious! I ordered the chicken parm which came with a side salad and bread. The chicken parm warmed my heart! That's how it used to come at the restaurant I worked at and the bread.. I could eat 10 of them! Food is delicious! We'll definitely order again and hopefully will be able to dine in soon.

You know what I mean. But yelp has never steered us wrong so I parked and went in. We were seated right away and our drink orders came quickly. We decided on a seafood dinner that we would share and we ordered a second dinner salad as the meal included one. When our meal came out it was split into two plates because they knew we were sharing. A nice touch. And it was served steaming hot and delicious! Clams, mussels, shrimp and a fish fillet on top of spaghetti and served with garlic bread and a wonderful cheesy tomato sauce. The two of us could barely finish the one dinner. But we did! And all for under $30. Hard to do these days. If you're in the mood for Italian food, you should give Brothers a try.
