All of the food is made when it is ordered, all fresh, the queso is fantastic! And it's made fresh. The guacamole is fresh, the EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS, I will make the longest review if I name everything that's delish. I order take out a lot from here and I don't always call in, they are so fast at getting my order to me. They also have Mexican Coca Cola (made with cane sugar, just like REAL coke was made before they messed with it). From 1 to 10, I would give the restaurant a 20+

Love family owned places! It's walkup, no servers (at least not on a Saturday afternoon), but the inside is bright, welcoming, and clean. The food was great and portions very generous! I bet our tray weighed close to 4 pounds! The chicken on the chicken nachos is full of flavor and stands up strong on its own! She added beans and it came covered in queso. They tasted great and we easily brought 3/4 of them home for a snack later. The torta was equally huge and full flavored! Nice toasted crust, delicious carnitas and pastor meat with all the fixings. I went with mayo, but you could opt for sour cream. It was a great sandwich and again, half came home for a snack later. I will definitely be back to explore more on the menu! The nacho chips are super light and crispy and the salsa bar is loaded with some delicious hurt your tummy spicy salsas!

Most memorable thing about it was their salsa bar! Over 12 or so dip options two different tomatillo salsas, as well pickled jalapenos with lime! All the salsas that I tried were all very good! Service was quick and food came out relatively fast. I got their enchiladas verdes with shredded chicken, sauce was very good, the shredded chicken was a bit dry, but overall I would definitely suggest this place!

They had a large variety of salsas which I was eager to try. My goto is usually the salsa verde and they had the traditional and avocado version. Upon the first bite of the salsa verde, I was caught off guard because it was so salty. When the server came over and took our order, I felt the need to let him know because it was not edible (IMO) but my husband also agreed. They kindly took the feedback and shortly after I saw some staff go over to the salsa bar and took it away. They actually ended up changing or fixing it and it was so much better! Hubby's tacos were awesome, super flavorful meats. My pork carnita dish was absolutely delicious! Packed with flavor, the rice was addicting and it was a great combination. The service was great as well so we look forward to coming back!

We cook Mexican dishes a lot at home & normally when we eat out at a Mexican restaurant, it lacks enough seasoning, but not here!! We will definitely be back! Bonus: I had enough leftovers to feed us both the next day for lunch! :)

I hate giving bad reviews, but this one deserves it…read more First, the okay (nothing was great): the beer was beer, the atmosphere was okay, the staff was nice, location was good The bad: Chips were stale, served in a small basket, tasted like off brand Tostitos and they were slow on bringing a new chip basket. Queso was congealed and lumpy, and after asking them to microwave it up to liquify it a bit, same issue when we got it back. Salsa was terrible (tried a bunch of them, nothing good) and the cups were too small to dip a chip in them. My wife got the beef nachos, that came cold and the beef was tasteless, not to mention the same issue with the cold queso on the nachos. I got a Milanese (might have messed up the spelling), which is breaded and fried beef with tortillas, salad, rice and beans. The beef wasn't good at all, the tortillas were okay, the rice didn't taste seasoned and the beans were watered down enough to the consistency of soup. To top it all off, this place was on the expensive side of Mexican food. If you're in Anderson looking for Mexican, just go up Hwy 81 to Papas and Beer.

Paying $5 for a small fry that had fewer than 15 fries is outrageous. It also took nearly 20 minutes to receive our food. While it was dinnertime, the service felt unusually slow. Overall, the food quality has declined, portions are significantly smaller than they should be, and prices have gone way up. To make matters worse, when I mentioned these concerns at the counter, the response was simply "okay," with little to no acknowledgment or concern for the experience.
