This place is just the employees playground. Not a real service oriented business. I walked in and thought I had walked into a night club. The regular music that was playing over the speakers was drowned completely out by the thumping bullshit night club music coming from the food prep area. The volume was ridiculous and I changed my mind and took it to go. The fact that I had to bring my order back because they got it wrong was not a surprise. First the staff has no mannerism & no customer service skills. Very ghetto. The two ladies that are managers, have no skills as manager's. The managers especially have no order, no organization, don't like to help the customers, they stay trying to avoid the customers, go figure, since they work with the public. They can't keep their staff in order, they all argue amongst each other in front of a lot of customers. There is also no communication between staff, which looks very unprofessional as customers view this from the outside as they wait in confusion to receive their meal that they paid for. The front register line stays long and backed up because none of their staff wants to work the front line and help the customers. The staff avoid the customers as long as possible and usually the line is going to the outside door at this time. All their staff looks very unhappy at KFC, accept for the two men that work only in the back of the KFC, prep area. Especially the managers once again are very rude and unprofessional with the customers. I been going to this KFC for 40 years it has never been this bad, such horrible management & organization within the restaurant. The fact that they are able to conduct business, with treating the customers the way they do, amazes me, along with other patron's. KFC Rating should be #0 the service is very poor. read more

I've been to this KFC many times and it is easily one of the worst places I've been to. Now, I love KFC and it's my favorite fast food chicken, but this location is awful. To define, the service here is the worst you can get. Every single time I go here, my order is wrong. They forget food, give you the wrong order, or they are out of food. In addition, the workers here are the most rudest, meanest, and worst people you'll ever meet. Reading other reviews, I'm not the only person that feels this way. Furthermore, getting food here just isn't worth it. I don't need to be yelled at or treated like garbage just for ordering food. The workers here should be ashamed of how bad of people they are. Also, bring back the Georgia Gold chicken. It was the best thing here. At the end of the day, I suggest going to a different KFC or Popeyes because the workers here are awful. read more

So my brothers and I felt like hating ourselves like we do every Saturday. We decided instead of going to BK, we'd pick from the most shit rated places on Yelp. Well, they all happened to be KFCs. So we just went to the closest one. It didn't disappoint! Everything was fucking awful. The chicken wasn't crispy, the weird mango speedy lightning Mountain Dew they have reminded us why we prefer sprite, but the fries were ok and the woman who handed us our food seemed happy to get it out of there. The Colonel should stick to anime dating sims and gaming consoles. It's an experience, Popeyes has all the good chicken. KFC still sucks, I remember it being better, but that was years ago. read more

This place needs to just close at this point. Ordered food went to pick up store was close even though I could see workers through the windows had to call for a refund. Another time ordered quick pick up door was locked and i was told by the drive thru lady that I would have to go all the way to the back of the line to pick up my "quick pick up" thats was already paid for and we could both clearly see sitting there. I don't usually eat at KFC (probably twice in the past 5 years) but I do love fried chicken. I don't know why I go to KFC more often, but I guess it is because it always seems disappointing. I came with my wife and we each ordered a meal with chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and gravy, a biscuit, and a drink. Sadly, the chicken tasted bland, wasn't crispy at all, and was inconsistent in size. I get that a "tender" isn't a real part of the chicken and may be cut differently, but you are at the mercy of the server as to whether you get large ones or small ones. The mashed potatoes were definitely from a mix, and that surprised me. I thought that they used real ones. Perhaps when I was younger (20+ years ago) they did? The biscuit was fine, if a bit dry. I went to another KFC in the area a couple of months ago, ordered the same thing, and came away with the same impressions. I want my chicken to be tasty and crispy. Is that too much to ask? I don't know if you can order it "fresh out of the fryer" like you can with some items at other fast food places. I don't expect fast food fried chicken to be as good as something from down south on a Sunday afternoon dinner, but I can get better chicken from the frozen section at the supermarket. Where to start.. placed an order for delivery, hadn't been to or had KFC in a long time and tonight reminded me why! Ordered a bucket and sides, 12 piece chicken tenders and one extra crispy breast piece. Skip ahead an hour and a half later to the delivery.. Extra piece of chicken in the bucket? Nope. Ok easy enough to forget that. 12 piece tenders? Nope not in the bag either. Surely I can look forward to the chicken and sides? Nope! Chicken looked disgusting, soggy falling apart and inedible, most of the skin was at the bottom of the bucket. Oh and the two sides, yeah they got those wrong too. There's really nothing positive to be said about this place. It routinely takes forever to get your food even though its never busy and they always have a ton of people working, no different on my most recent visit. The store is absolutely filthy...there was not a single clean surface in the entire place. The floor in the food prep area was covered in chicken bits and other trash. Trash bins all overflowing. I ordered two combo meals on GrubHub for pickup. Arrived 20 mins later and they hadnt even seen it come in. Seemed oblivious that you could even order online. Sat there another 15 minutes because they ran out of chicken tenders. Got the food home and found they forgot the sauce. I get that it's a fast food joint but this place is pathetic even by that low standard. Definitely needs new ownership that has some self pride. read more

12/08/20 Came to order a family meal. Decided to go inside instead of drive thru so that we could see what we were being served. First, the front order taker acted upset that we disturbed her from throwing chicken in the pans for the pot pie. Served us with the same gloves that she was using to accept money. The packer well she treated the chicken as she was mad with it. Asked for half original and half crispy. What we received was half dry old chicken not crispy and all dark original. The fries were warm when asked for new order then Carmen was in the drive thru made more fries , but decided to use her hands to scoop up the fries with the gloves that was used to take money and touch the register. Just shows they don't care about the Covid 19 or flesh eating bacteria. People should not come to work if they don't want to work. Yet they wonder by they don't want to pay them more than their really worth. I was always told treat people the way you want to be treated. What's the use of changing gloves if you are going to serve customers with the same gloves you touch money plus the register and touch the food. This was an unbelievable after we spent $40.00 for service. They need to remember the same you give out you will receive. What goes around goes come back to you one way or another. read more

This KFC has gone in a bold new direction from it's other KFC brethren. Not only is this KFC a fast food restaurant, but it is also a theme park! The theme of this park is: Worst KFC in the World. I didn't think it was possible, and the theme was risky, but man have they nailed it! I'm impressed with the dedication KFC put into this location to make it the worst KFC in the world, this is no small feat! Starting with the location, this KFC has been built in a part of Albany a stone's throw from the sewage treatment plant, several abandoned (condemned?) buildings, and the vibe of the area is 'concrete wasteland' or 'abandoned ghost town'. This is the perfect location for the worst KFC in the world, as you aren't sure if the establishment is also condemned or abandoned. I went here once, ordered my usual, and instead of getting my usual, I got a chicken tender on a hotdog bun. Imagine my surprise of my usual being so unusual. I didn't even know KFC had hotdog buns, I thought they phased those out in the early 90's, and but the taste of the hotdog bun...I might still be right about that. I got 2 bites into it before I said enough, and walked out. Now there are other features that make this KFC truly the worst KFC in the world that I don't want to forget. First is the bold move not only to open this restaurant to human beings (really bold), but also to open it up to flies. I counted 4 in my visit, and given the size of this building, that makes it about 1 fly per 10ft^2. I stopped counting flies because I was going to eat food there and after I get above 4, I start to worry that maybe the place is actually condemned. What really sells this place as the Worst KFC in the World Theme Park is the staff with the 1,000 yard stare who have no shame. They are dedicated to the theme, and that's a work ethic you just can't find these days. When they brought out my chicken tender on a hotdog bun, they made eye contact, but is as if they were staring beyond me. So when I looked down at my "food", and back at them, down at my "food", and back at them, they didn't even blink, or realize that I was wondering where my sandwich was, or if this was really a drug front for the mafia, or why they served me fried chicken breading on a hotdog (there wasn't any chicken in this chicken sandwich...but to be fair, there wasn't any bread either). So come on down! This place nails it! If you ever want to try the worst KFC in the world, there is no better place than this location. read more
