Ever since I've moved in, there has been great communication from the staff - emails with updates and letters at your door, they are always helpful when you go into the office and the maintenance crew is awesome! They just made the pools year round (yeah!) and having free popcorn, water, and coffee in the clubhouse is great! Yes, there isn't enough guest parking, but there are spaces out front and along the street. I have a 2 bed/2 bath and there is so much space, I love it! I'm on the second floor and my view is out towards the city; it's so pretty at night and I can see the fireworks! It's great having a washer and dryer in your unit and having all the other amenities is a huge plus (granite countertops, hardwood floors in the kitchen and bathrooms, microwave, dishwasher, lots of cupboard space, AC, lots of lights). There are playgrounds for the kids, lots of dogs around and overall, happy people. It's a great community to live in and if you can find an apartment here, you should take it!

Then, we would catch workers smoking outside of our patio, despite it being a "non smoking property". The straw that broke the camels back (and our 2 year lease) was the fact that we had a maintenance request and the office neglected to respond within the 14 day timeframe legally required in the State of Nevada. When my wife and I confronted the office, we were only met with gaslighting and lies told by Chandler who couldn't even tell us straight up if she reached out to the HVAC company regarding our maintenance request.... Aaaaaand guess what? That HVAC system had a blown motor not even 2 weeks later.... They offered us an agreement to "break the lease with no penalties/fees" just so they wouldn't get sued. Like I said, beautiful apartment, terrible front office. Sometimes, it's better to pay for quality... we would've stayed had there been adequate people who actually gave a f*ck.

Well maintained grounds and everything is just immaculate. One of the best places I've ever seen. The bathrooms in the clubhouse are totally ADA compliant and then some. What sealed the deal for me is that every maintenance person here is prompt with any issues and has told my daughter that if she needs anything to let them know...and they mean it! We've met kind considerate people here and it truly feels like home. My daughter feels safe here which is a big deal for me.

They are so prompt, so professional, and all around great, trustworthy humans. The garages are such a game changer. They're a bit narrow but I didn't realize how deep they were for storage until we were moving out! The guest parking here is a breeze and we never had an issue. The process is clear and there wasn't a lot of unexpected towing or anything like that. While we continued to have noise issues with our downstairs neighbor and the units weren't quite as sound proof as one may like - especially in the early phases - it stays pretty quiet. I always felt incredibly safe in this complex and I think the code system for the gate works well - though I wish the codes could work on all 4 gates. The facilities are well kept and go largely underutilized. We had a few run ins especially when it came time to renew our lease with confusion in the front office but overall - this place is great. They were really fair on our move out deposit and communicative though out the whole process

What is home? Long have I searched for the answer to this…read morequestion. My thoughts fill my head as I make my daily walk back. Most of my life I have felt a constant restlessness, a yearning for more. The days have begun to blend together as I journey through life unsatisfied. I am a slave to my emptiness, an itch deep in my spine that I continue to reach for but never will. I wasn't always this way. There was a time before when we were all together there, before I was on my own here. My dreams now consist of fading memories of that place. The same loop plays that I refuse to change in fear of letting something new replace all I have left. I stop walking. I come back here each day to start over the way I began before. The sun is rising slowly, casting away the shadows of the day before. The morning is quiet as it waits for the new day to begin, prompting me to close my eyes and drift into the depths of my mind. Suddenly, a hand rests on my shoulder bringing me out of my solitude. I quickly look around searching for the source of the disturbance when something catches my eye. There is a path I had not noticed before. It looks familiar, but I have never seen it. A feeling of curiosity and purpose overcomes me as I make my way down the path and further from where I came. It it occurs to me after awhile that I cannot remember how to get back. Thoughts of the past flood back in an attempt cling to something, but I shut them out, focusing on the task at hand. I need to keep moving. Instead of fear, only calmness greets me like a patient friend. I am ready. My steps come to a halt as a door remains. It says something on it. "Silverado Apartments: a great neighborhood, nice luxury apartments, and has a homey feel to it." I pause and take a deep breath, pushing the door open as I walk through. This is home.

Management and maintenance are very sweet, helpful, and generally just great at what they do. Griselda regularly brings vendors to the complex and hosts events for the residents, which are both great at community building. If you have pets they're very accommodating, and you can't beat the variety of walking paths that branch from the apartments, I have atleast 15 different walks I can rotate. There's really nothing to complain about, my 3 years here had many great memories. And may as well mention rent was never drastically increased. Highly recommend.

I would not advise anyone to rent here…read more My car was towed from the resident parking garage even though I had my resident parking sticker exactly where we are told to display it. I spoke with management regarding being reimbursed the towing fees and they said they would not reimburse me. Even though I had not broken any rules regarding parking policy. I sued them in small claims court for the parking fees. They showed up in court to argue that they shouldn't have to pay me. The judge agreed with me and awarded me the towing fees plus court costs. They then started to tell the judge that they might appeal the decision. Eventually they paid me. There are three treadmills in the gym at Emory. I told them multiple times that one of the treadmills was malfunctioning. Every time I mentioned it, they acted like it was the first they had heard of it and said they would get right on it. Then it would never get fixed. I was telling them about this treadmill multiple times for over a year. Then one of the other treadmills started malfunctioning and I told them about this too and get the same treatment. I never heard any follow up on this and they were never fixed. They say they are luxury apartments but the common areas specifically hallways and especially stairwells are very dirty. There are always clumps of dog hair that keep accumulating. There was once an empty beer can in the stairwell for over two months before it was removed. Update after reply: My car being towed happened a while ago. However, the common areas being very dirty and the treadmills malfunctioning even after multiple notifications are recent issues. I moved out in December 2025 and they were both still ongoing issues at that time.

There was also a Ongoing noise issue which was never addressed. People played loud music all night and no one did anything. I give them 0 star.

Walking to ball games, the Art Museum, seeing a show, strolling along the Truckee River's River Walk, or exploring a host of interesting restaurants and bars, I have found life in downtown Reno much better than I earlier knew or imagined. And perhaps you don't want to get caught up in the busyness of the suburban explosion. Moving from California several years ago, I have found The Montage condominiums in downtown Reno one of my best moves ever. For many reasons, I assess The Montage to be the best current offering for downtown condo living in Reno. After checking the competitors, choosing The Montage was an easy choice, so much so that after several years I bought another second, larger unit. While it is an inappropriate location for children, there is a great mix between the 21-40 age group and the 55+. Best of all, I have found my neighbors to be about the most friendly I've encountered, and that most definitely includes the very capable staff. The HOA and Management also maintains a very nice social schedule with speakers and different events. The facility is very dog-friendly though I have never experienced noise problems with that. As a builder-lawsuit has restricted bank-financed purchases up to now, this hopefully will be resolved soon and the prices could spike. Beyond the many amenities, the building is kept spotless and up-to-date by a very competent maintenance staff while security guards and front desk staff monitor activities 24/7. In addition to a large swimming pool and two hot tubs open all year long, the sunny 6th floor pool deck is beautifully landscaped and also includes a full clubhouse and shade cabanas, and five gas grills. There is a large fitness center, meeting room, and business center/television/library. There is also generous on-site storage as well as separate bike storage. Subterranean gated parking protects your vehicle from any cold or heat extremes. This is fun, luxurious, turnkey downtown living that I am so pleased to have discovered!
