This place definitely redefines Reno! It's the best you can get near Midtown. It's modern, resort like living with amazing amenities. Although amenities are extra at $100 per leaseholder, it's still worth it given they offer weekly gym classes and host monthly events to create an inclusive community. They also have a heated pool, a jacuzzi and a huge TV screen, and music in the pool area. The reason for my 5 star rating is not the building alone though, I recommend this place because of the staff and their exceptional customer service. Nancy, is amazing! She is friendly, patient and makes you feel at ease. We went in for a tour and had multiple questions and wanted to see each unit (they have a lot layouts!) and she never hesitated or made us feel uncomfortable. Honestly, if it wasn't for her, we wouldn't have signed the lease so fast - she made the transition seamless. I am excited to be a resident of Emory soon and can't wait to meet new people and make new friends in Reno! read more

I would not advise anyone to rent here. My car was towed from the resident parking garage even though I had my resident parking sticker exactly where we are told to display it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I spoke with management regarding being reimbursed the towing fees and they said they would not reimburse me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though I had not broken any rules regarding parking policy. I sued them in small claims court for the parking fees. They showed up in court to argue that they shouldn't have to pay me. The judge agreed with me and awarded me the towing fees plus court costs. They then started to tell the judge that they might appeal the decision. Eventually they paid me. There are three treadmills in the gym at Emory. I told them multiple times that one of the treadmills was malfunctioning. Every time I mentioned it, they acted like it was the first they had heard of it and said they would get right on it. Then it would never get fixed. I was telling them about this treadmill multiple times for over a year. Then one of the other treadmills started malfunctioning and I told them about this too and get the same treatment. I never heard any follow up on this and they were never fixed. They say they are luxury apartments but the common areas specifically hallways and especially stairwells are very dirty. There are always clumps of dog hair that keep accumulating. There was once an empty beer can in the stairwell for over two months before it was removed. Update after reply: My car being towed happened a while ago. However, the common areas being very dirty and the treadmills malfunctioning even after multiple notifications are recent issues. I moved out in December 2025 and they were both still ongoing issues at that time. read more

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had a disappointing experience with this complex regarding my security deposit. After moving out, my deposit was not refunded, and the reasons given did not seem reasonable or consistent with the condition in which I left the property. The apartment was not painted when I moved in but suddenly there are so many issues. They did a walk around prior to moving and said the apartment was in fine condition so why the discrepancy. There was also a Ongoing noise issue which was never addressed. People played loud music all night and no one did anything. I give them 0 star. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]A rude, inconsistent staff, especially the "property director" who was confrontational and especially impertinent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Would not permit my moving pod to be delivered near to my first floor apartment which would have made the time required to unload less than 2 hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Instead, they required totally remote location at the opposite side of the building which required stairs ( violation of ADA Title III) and several long hallways to get the furniture/boxes to the apartment. Do not move to Red. It is overrated as a luxury apartment - (dog poop in dead grass common areas) only those who have no experience at a luxury apartment complex may think the Red is luxurious.Zero stars rating but to post at least one is required read more

I have never seen such a poor design. There are 24/7 stadium lights pointed at the building. We were trying to sleep for the first night and this is how bright our window was at Midnight on a Sunday because of the stadium lights. The fact that they don't turn these lights off at 10pm baffles me. My husband and I barely slept 4 hrs because of this. (I've tried posting the picture of the lights shining through the window.. After living here for almost 2 years: I would not recommend leasing here. Our tour was filled with promises that have not been fulfilled and most likely never will be. Once you sign your lease, it's really hard to get a response from the front office on stuff and there's a lot of staff turnover. There have been at least 4 managers in the last 2 years. When you contact the front office it's hard to get a call back or an email, but if you do get a response it's very vague and not helpful. I recently went into the office and had a standoffish experience with the staff which was very awkward. There have been nights where the music from the pool area stays on all night on full blast, and while there's supposed to be security here, nobody stops the music. Another thing to note is that the pool lights never turn off so if your windows faces the pool, it will be bright at all hours of the day. The apartments come with these cheap shades that don't block out the light. Often times the alarm in the building will be beeping all day and not get turned off. While the apartments have nice aesthetics, it is filled with cheap finishes and lacking the luxury details you pay for. The curtains are cheap and do not block out any of the lights that are always on. There is no bathroom fan. There is no remote control for the fan/light in your bedroom. Sometimes there's a whistling from wind in the apartment which is annoying and loud. You can hear it in the hallways and in your apartment. The screen fell off of our window and I put in a service request for it to be fixed and it is no where to be found - will probably be charged for that upon move out. Parking rules are not enforced and it's becoming a problem since the complex is filling up. It's really frustrating when you pay $70 per month for a parking spot, but are competing for parking with vehicles that do not have parking passes. I talked to the office about what they are doing about it and I was told they "are taking steps". Honestly it was just a filler answer and they are not doing anything about enforcing parking permits. It wouldn't be a big deal if you didn't have to pay for an amenity you aren't able to use properly. The trash room is a mess, with the bins full almost everyday there is constantly bags of trash all over the floor in the trash room. It smells and you can't properly dispose of your waste. The pool is beautiful, but simply not worth the price that comes with it. The pool furniture is falling apart and you can't control what music or tv is played in the common areas. When we signed our lease we were told the pool would be heated year-round and that is no longer the case. It honestly just seems like an investment group did the bare minimum to make a massive profit off of people looking for luxury living. They've started to cut back amenities and justify it by cutting a $100/person monthly fee. Our rent costs should be plenty to cover the amenities boasted on the property tour, not to mention the amenities they promised but never put in. I think a cheaper option as far as rent would be much better of an experience as you can rent luxury apartments in Reno much cheaper. The rent is not justified and the management is poor. The location and amenities here are very nice. read more

Incase you're wondering what it's like to live at red this is it. We pay 2300 a month to fix the building for them because they wont spend the money to fix it. The "experience" is having to deal with disgusting amounts of greed and unable to ever feel secure in your home. This is the most amazing place I have ever lived and I have lived at some great places in some amazing cities. This is more like living in the nicest resort hotel. This place isn't even completed yet and there is so much to do already. There are too many amenities to even list! The most amazing part is the staff, starting with the amazing service from Nancy and Jessica in the leasing office and Jesus in Maintenance. Nancy responded in within 5 minutes of me contacting this facility before I even applied. There is another management company in town that I applied to first and I couldn't get any call backs. I came across this place on Apartment List and I never thought I could even get in. I still am blown away that I am living here. I am slightly disabled and Nancy and Jesus made this apartment more accessible for me. The whole staff is beyond helpful, intelligent, and sincere. This is also very secure. At night I have seen and Interacted with security outside and inside so you will feel safe. I would write even more but I don't wanna sound like I work here. read more

I just recently leased here at Emory and I have received nothing short of exceptional service from the ladies at the pavilion. Jennifer and I hit it off right away during my tour. She really exhibited what the sense of community would feel like and went over the top to make sure my needs were met. She was prompt in her responses, listened to what I wanted out of my new home and delivered just that. The complex is clean and because of the cement floors you don't get a lot of sound from the other tenants. Being a single woman I feel safe when taking my dog out to go to the bathroom at night. After speaking with, and touring, the community with Jen and seeing all the amenities and the proximity the community is to Midtown restaurants and shops, I knew this was where I wanted to live. The original unit we applied for was in EMORY however, one day before the movers were coming to unload my household items, there was a " hiccup ".! What could have turned into a disaster Jen and the leasing Team quickly jumped into action to find a solution. Their care and concern about me and my daughter was heart warming and appreciated! At the end of all of this my daughter and I ended up in ATWOOD and we LOVE it! This place is awesome. I'll say this. I'm 43 years of age. Was in the military for ten (10) years. Have lived all over the states and overseas. Own two houses in San Antonio Texas, but having to move because of my fiancée job to Reno Nevada. Our plan was to get here and find an apartment until we could learn the area and decide where we wanted to make home. Well, the Emory is our first apartment here and I can honestly say one of the nicest complexes I've ever been too. I wouldn't even classify it as an apartment complex as it is more of a resort. The staff, Nancy , Judith amongst others are extremely professional, polite and welcomed us with open arms. The price for these units are extremely reasonable and competitive in the area. I want to thank all of them for the help and making our first place in Reno this nice. "IF" there are units still available here in the near future, do yourself a favor and book, reserve, or make an appointment as I don't see these staying on the market very long.
