DO NOT GO HERE if I could give zero stars I would This was…read morethe absolute worst rehab ever. It's an old hotel that is infested with mold, they cram 3 people in a tiny room, there's about 70 other people there which means 70 different personalities and people are constantly trying to fight others, they lost my friends cell phone when he discharged and they lost my purse, my fan and the bag I brought in that had which was sentimental to me. They don't seem to care about the clients all they care about is that $$$ money in their pocket. The whole the 30 days I was there I only met with my therapist once. DO NOT GO HERE

    ### Review: A Nightmare of Micromanagement and Toxicity…read more If you're considering working under the Executive Director Brittney here, run--don't walk--in the opposite direction. My experience as the Director of Clinical Aide Services was a nightmare defined by relentless micromanagement and a toxic work environment fueled by personal vendettas and sheer incompetence. From day one, it was clear that the Executive Director was furious about my promotion. She was upset that Lisa or whoever it was appointed me and demoted her boy toy to a manager position. Her petty resentment translated into a daily barrage of bullying and undermining. I was explicitly forbidden from addressing issues with department heads--everything had to go through her. This power trip not only stifled my ability to lead but also created a chokehold on any semblance of efficiency and progress. She blatantly allowed my clinical aides to bypass my decisions and report directly to her. This deliberate undercutting of my authority destroyed any respect my team had for me and fostered a culture of confusion and disrespect. The result? A dysfunctional team and a disrupted workflow, all thanks to her need to control every minor detail. Adding insult to injury, I was given zero training when I stepped into the role. To top it off, I didn't receive my job description until the end of April--four months into the job! This sheer lack of support and preparation made it nearly impossible to perform my duties effectively. The Executive Director's unprofessionalism knew no bounds. She regularly trashed me behind my back to her assistant, who was kind enough to inform me of the malicious gossip. This middle-school behavior from a supposed leader created an environment ripe with tension and daily drama. Beyond the personal attacks and chaos, the organization's priorities were appalling. All they cared about was their census numbers, stuffing more clients into the system than the staff could handle. The result was an environment where clients were neglected and unable to receive the care they desperately needed for recovery and success. It was clear that the well-being of clients was secondary to their numbers game. In short, if you enjoy being micromanaged to death, dealing with daily drama instigated by a psychopath Executive Director, and working in an environment where client care is a joke, then this is the perfect place for you. Otherwise, save yourself the misery and steer clear. This place is a cesspool of toxicity and mismanagement.

They also reacted positively to my attempts at humor and were pleasant throughout my visit. They appeared to have no issues understanding how to process paperwork with the VA (unlike some urgent care clinics that try to charge me when they should not). Although the x-ray didn't want to work for me for some reason, I was quickly seen, evaluated, and given some helpful treatment. They used the electrical pulse therapy with an ice-pack and did a couple of adjustments that were painless and surprisingly helpful. I didn't realize how the adjustments could help while he performed them but they did. Finally, I got to perform "an adjustment" on the chiropractor (I popped his back). I apparently did a good job and he even mentioned that I provided "an adjustment" for him. Maybe I should look into learning more about chiropractic science. Other than the odd situation with the x-ray, all went well and I do feel better. I had a good experience here and I expect that you will have a good experience with Virginia Family Chiropractic for your future chiropractic needs. I look forward to my follow up appointment in a couple of days!!

I arrived in extreme discomfort, and Dr. Shanbhag took the time to thoroughly understand my symptoms and recommend a thoughtful, targeted treatment plan. I underwent a combination of trigger point injections, prolotherapy, and PRP therapy. Although Dr. Shanbhag initially anticipated that I might need three to four PRP sessions, the results were incredible--after just one PRP treatment, my pain completely disappeared. The effectiveness of the treatment exceeded all expectations and made a life-changing difference. The office staff is equally impressive: consistently friendly, professional, and efficient. They help create a calm, welcoming environment that makes every visit smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Shanbhag for anyone seeking knowledgeable, and truly effective pain management care. The entire team is outstanding.
