Jason Miller was awesome to work with, creating a design that matched our ideas and maximized our available space. John Smucker has built a team capable of doing it all...and doing it right! He is dedicated to making the finished product better than you expected, a true craftsman. The crew are the heart and soul of a business and MHG has a great group. Jason "Kicker", Terrell, Ian, and Ben were fantastic to work with from start to finish...great guys doing a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend MHG to anyone looking to finish their dream basement.

Jason and Miller Home Group, so many great things to say about them. If we could give more than…read morefive stars in this review we would, and we mean it. We were first-time major-home-renovation homeowners when beginning the search for a company/contractor to renovate our basement, and after the first round of receiving quotes from several other places, we almost gave up. We decided to look again and received a few more quotes, and what set Miller Home Group (MHG) apart from all others was Jason's vision and ability see a layout that we could not see ourselves. I think this is the most important thing other potential clients of MHG need to hear...all of the other companies listen to our ideas and gave us a pricing... that's it...no new ideas, no excitement. Jason said, well hear me out... what if we put the TV wall here (a wall that didn't exist yet) and this angled wall here (another non-existent wall) to separate the gym from the living space... and before we knew it our space was maximized and it now feels like we have a luxury "five-star hotel" in our basement and we can't believe it is in our home. Jason's vision, alone, is a value no other company is offering. We began with the design phase in late February/early April and wrapped up as scheduled in mid/late August just in time for football season (for our seven-tv wall). From the beginning of construction in June, to the completion in August, we were excited to come home every night to see the progress. As expected in home renovation projects, there were delays, updates, issues and changes along the way, but Johnny (Jonathan), our project manager, was always communicating with us. Between Jason and Johnny, we could not have been happier with the line of communication, especially as we began to see the space unfold and decided to add-in new things to the project on the fly. From the design phase to the final walkthrough, we welcomed the Miller Home Group family into our home and could not be happier with the results. We cannot thank them enough. To the entire staff, Jason (Miller), Johnny, Ian, Jason "Kicker", Dave, Jeff, Terrell, Ben, and Aleish, Thank you! We kind of feel like we've lost friends now that the project is completed, but welcome anyone that reads this review that is considering remodeling their basement to give MHG a call. Truthfully, Jason had my decision made to go with MHG from the initial phone call, and then meeting him for the quote walkthrough and then the design meeting only solidified both of our decisions.

I live in a very well to do neighborhood and unfortunately, these guys will look up house values and charge accordingly so while some neighborhoods will get $10k decks, not mine. If I was living in DC suburbs then they'd charge us $50k for the deck. I got the PVC Aztek material with metal posts. The guys did the job in 2 days. I was worried when I saw scuffs on my new deck the day after install, but Luke came to buff them out. With Aztek, you have to be very careful about scratching the deck with furniture so I've yet to put anything on my deck! We rarely eat out there anyways. We're not outdoorsy people.

American Sunrooms Inc located in Lebanon, Pa…read more I have had terrible experience with this company regarding: 1.Quality of materials used: windows: cloudy, with scratches that we were told would be removed once they clean them. It didn't resolve the issues. Section of the sliding glass windows jam and do not slide. I was told that some were not meant to slide? Yet, their literature states: "Standard configurations include sliding windows." Window frames are separating from window glass. 2. Unreliable: Project was anticipated to start 01/01/2024 and be completed by 01/31/2024. We are now in June 2025. When asked about the time beyond stated 30 day period, the response was: "It was just an estimate". During that time we endured delays for: week long seminar in Florida in January 2024; several days in February 2024 to see a tax accountant for business and then personal income taxes; set-up and attend home show; weather; personal issues; super busy; lost track of time, delays attributed to third party vendors. 3. Communications Most of the time required multiple request for updates with either little or no response . 4. Workmanship Had to redo or revisit most installations: electrical outlets; windows leaking; motion detection light failed; electrical worked performed: i.e. improper AMP circuit breaker was installed at main breaker box for AC/Heater; power cord for new AC/Heater was replaced. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Buyer Beware

I had several issues with this contractor. They are extremely sloppy they do not use drop cloths…read moreand i constantly had to clean up after them at night. After installing a new floor, they exposed it to the mud you use to tile a shower,as well as the Red Guard you use to waterproof the shower before tiling. I had to scrub the floor each night they left To get the mud residue and red guard drips up from the new uncovered floor. They also failed to protect a brand new acrylic tub while they were tiling and scratched in several places. I bought a repair kit at Lowe's and was able to buff them out at night after cleaning up the mess they made in the unprotected tub. They totally gutted my bathrooms and they do not own a Shop vac so they had to use our vacuum cleaner. They cleaned the cement out of a bucket and dumped the cement right in our garage which of course I had to clean up. They also started work prior to having a dumpster delivered so our garage was filled with junk for a week and a toilet fell over and smashed into pieces. They also cut tile with a wet saw in my garage instead of out in the grass away from the house. I had to power wash the entire garage and driveway to get up all the caked on dried up tile dust. Again because they don't drop cloth anything, they dripped tile residue all over our laminate floors and steps,as they carried the fresh cut dripping wet tile throughout the house. The contractor also has unusual hours, usually they averaged 4 hours a day 10-2 which drags the job out longer while your house is ripped apart. His proposal did say 5 weeks but I assumed that was 8 hours a day but I was wrong. He is a very good plumber and he did a nice job installing our floors in the bathrooms. The tile lines in one bathroom were good but the tile job in the last shower he did was terrible,he even installed a tile that was chipped and tried to cover it with grout.I am also hiring another contractor to come in and regrout the shower because it is terrible. My biggest complaint is the lack of respect they showed to our house with their sloppy work. I would not recommend them if you value clean, timely work, you will spend a lot of time cleaning up after them.
