The Wawa cult following is incredibly passionate about a gas station/convenience store. We popped in today because we saw a billboard for Hoagiefest, where you can get a large sub, drink and Herr's potato chips for $8. Worth a try! Please note, you have to order the combo and actually get all three items to get the price break. Ordering via the web and in-store kiosk was easy peasy. The service was great. The sandwiches were done quickly. The Pennsylvania based chips are tasty. The drink is fountain only. The sandwich... I think we have to be real with that part of the special menu. The pulled pork has not been in a smoker. The bacon is not crunchy. The Italian sub has never been near Italy. The pickled onions are not very flavorful. The sweet peppers are bland. See a theme here? However, the Wawa sub is better than the Wawa pizza which we tried once years back when it came out. Sorry, we are still not fans of the food at Wawa. Everything else about the place is great!

I don't know what you're supposed to do with that information or how it ties in, but no ones gonna read this anyways. I came to this Sam's Club for the 25th installment of my show "Chicken Wars," in which I am on the hunt to find the best grocery store rotisserie chicken on the planet. After Costco, this was far and away the most requested bird. I came in with high expectations. I thought it was funny how the chickens are $4.98 a piece, as Costcos are priced $4.99. CHICKEN WARS FOR REAL! I love a good sneak diss. I took the tissi down off the highway, and sat in the sand on the intercoastal and ripped into it. This thing was a TANK! One of the biggest chickens I have run into on this journey. But what good does size do if you don't know how to use it? All in all, this chicken was the poster child for a 7.0. Just mid all around. A bit below mid if we are being honest. I'm not mad at it for the price, but people were acting like this bird was going to win Chicken Wars. If you think this Sam's Club tissi is top tier, I'm begging you to please go try Publix or the Fresh Market. Those are HIGH LEVEL birds. Currently, Sam's Club sits in the 19th slot out of 27 chickens I have tried as of penning this. There are way more grocery stores serving rotisserie chickens than I ever could have imagined... (1st one is on Gulf to Bay Blvd in Clearwater) What I love about this Thorntons is it's gas price. It's the lowest among the three nearest stations, those being Rallys and Racetrac. New to the area they are the first to lower their price then the other two match it. It's great for the consumer! Also of interest is the newer concept of fast food inside the store. They have quite a variety. Cold ready made sandwiches are in a case, Cuban, Ham and Cheese, Chicken Salad, Tuna Salad to name a few. They have hot sandwiches such as Grilled Chicken, Fish and Cheese, BBQ Rib, and Italian. They have Jumbo Hot Dogs, Polish Sausage, Pepper Jack Sausage, and Spicy Sausage. They also offer hot Tornado's which are similar to burritos without the beans, Meatball Marinara, Southwest Chicken, Cheese Burger, and Pepper Jack Cheese. There is also a fresh condiment station with grated cheese, hot peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. Quite a large variety of coffee's too, hot and iced. Different flavored Fizz Freez ( think Slurpee). Assorted fountain drinks any size for 89 cents. So this is the new kid on the block, raising the bar in the gas/fast food/convenience store market. Supposed to be a Wawa's being built on the other corner at this intersection. I love competition, don't you? So why the three stars?........Come on now, it's still a gas station!

Dodges Southern Style rocks, to put it bluntly, this chicken place is bussin, this is my second time over there, the people behind the counter are extremely nice, very helpful, and friendly, their chicken comes fried, baked, regular, and spicy they have egg rolls that are surprisingly good, and they're fried apple pie pies are superb... They remind me of the apple pies that McDonald's served about 40 years ago when they were good. The pies have a nice crunch, a sugar coated exterior , and delicious apple filling inside. They are quite addictive as I've learned. I will be coming back frequently to this chicken oasis since it's only 13 minutes away from where I live. I am very happy that it is.

**Title:** Product-number change and missing bowl cover resulted in a $120 loss…read more I returned a KitchenAid mixer to Costco because it did not function properly. I then purchased what appeared to be the same mixer. The replacement had a different product number, but the mixer and the rest of the contents were otherwise the same. During the return, Costco removed the $100 discount from my original transaction. That discount was not honored when I purchased the replacement. The replacement box also did not contain the bowl cover that was included with the original product. Because the bowl cover was missing, I now have to purchase it separately. Between the lost $100 discount and the cost of replacing the bowl cover, my transaction leaves me approximately $120 worse off than when I began. This raises a serious concern about whether removing one component and assigning a different product number allowed the replacement to be treated as a different product, while I absorbed the lost discount and the cost of the missing part. I believe this is by design and is a deceptive practice and deserves this bad review. Beyond lugging the product back to the store, there is no way I should come out worse in this situation.
