Suddenly this taxi driver went all crazy and said "whats was my problem" without doing anything to him! We were behind him about 6 ft apart and that was all. He went to point to be right next to my window and start yelling at us for no reason (clearly had mental issues). Tried to report this to the office and they said the only way to address this situation is if we or my car were hurted. I mean do we need to get killed so they can address a situation like this!!! After making two phone calls to competitors in the area, neither answered their phones- I called Keystone Cab. I live in Mechanicsburg and needed transportation to Harrisburg for a few days. I was recovering from surgery and was unable to drive. The dispatcher was assuring and kind to my specific needs. I have been a cab driver for OVER 30+ years now. I am currently semi-retired (awaiting my Covid-19 Vaccine before returning to work). I have a few hints to ALL RIDERS. 1. Passengers should NEVER ride in a cab WITHOUT the METER being turned on. That is not only illegal, but this is a good indication that you are going to be screwed. The only time the meter should not be turned on, is IF you have BOTH AGREED to a set price before you start your trip (AND HAVE PAID IN ADVANCE). 2. If you have a SET WAY that you want the driver to drive, make sure to inform the driver as soon as you get in the cab. He might argue OR suggest a better route (because of delays for accidents or whatever) but he should AT LEAST inform you of them - just to give you a choice or at least another option). 3. I do not like to kick people out of my cab, but I have done it on numerous occasions. I especially do not like to do it, during inclement weather conditions or especially when there are kids involved. But if it comes down to my dealing with an unruly and/or disrespectful passenger, I will not deal with these (so-called) idiots no matter the circumstances. I have kicked out about 10-15 passengers over the years (for various reasons - mainly lack of funds ). If (FOR ANY REASON) a driver tells you to "GET OUT", don't argue with him/her. The driver is in his/her rights to call the cops on you. The best advice I can give, is to get out then call the dispatcher and file your complaints and politely ask him/her for another cab. If you were kicked out of a cab but were NOT ASKED to pay ANY FARE, count your blessings. By LAW the driver could have REQUIRED you to pay for ANY FARE on the meter. I have only required this (requiring to be paid - that is) only once or twice in the years I have been driving. This is all the advice I can give at the moment... Be safe and be careful out here... They get you from point A to point B when you're drunk - what else can you really ask from a cab? When you call for a cab they're usually there in less time than quoted so that's good, and they're more than happy to listen to your suggestions on the route. I have used this company twice this week in last minute get-to-work emergencies and they were able to arrive to pick me up right away after I hung up! I only had to wait literally 5 minutes for a car both times. This was in the morning around 8:30 am, so there may be a longer wait other times. Don't know about the individual drivers (I'm sure they are just trying to make a buck), but the dispatcher was very rude. I called for a cab then cancelled 15 minutes later because I thought I had a ride and when I called back when my ride fell through the dispatcher was like "oh yeah, now you need a ride, give me a break!" Perhaps its just me, but I deal with clients who change their minds on a whim, but at the end of the day I deliver service with a smile because they generate revenue for my business... On 1/8/2020, I had to call an ambulance to take me to the emergency room--food poisoning. I was released around midnight and needed a way to get home. I called Keystone Cab; I needed a rough estimate of the cost to get me from the hospital to my home and the man who answered didn't really want to give an estimate, but I was happy he did; he estimated $20 and it came to $16.10, so it was a pretty good guesstimate. However, I was very unhappy with the driver. I was weak and dehydrated, and the driver knew he was picking me up from a hospital, so where did he get off with his attitude towards me??? He complained about my lack of strength in closing the van's door; asked me if I had had an "episode" (?); blared music from his rear speakers; asked me for my opinions on road construction/development and then wanted to argue with me about how wrong my opinions were! He even had the nerve to tell me I shouldn't be living in Pennsylvania!!! I WAS BORN IN THIS STATE! I was way too tired and weak to say what I wish I had: YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME WHERE I SHOULDN'T BE LIVING! And I could kick myself for giving him a really good tip! Much much more dependable than Capital City. Faster to pick up and faster to get to where I need to go. Calling in your cab is not very pleasing, but they get the job done. They came on time and got me there on time and that's all I ask. Seem much more reliable and the cars are actual marked cabs not hit or miss like Capital City. Prices are cheap. I have never used this company...and never would. I followed one of their drivers today on my way home from a doctor's appointment. They ran through 3...count them... 3 stop signs, never even slowing down!! They finally stopped in front of a rehabilitation office (directly across from an elementary school with very clearly marked crosswalks, glad there were no children crossing the street at the time this driver ran the stop sign), parked on the wrong side of the road facing the wrong direction, no flashers to drop their passenger. Honestly i have been using this cab company for at least once a week for the last 2 years. I always tip my drivers and I'm nothing but polite and respectful. But the dispatcher there has all of a sudden such a HUGE problem with me. He always has an attitude when he hears my voice, he has flat out not sent anybody to come here before. And today he put my job in jeopardy because he refused to take my number so I knew if the cab would be able to get me to work on time. I booked with this cab company a few hours ahead of time when I needed a ride from downtown out to a destination on Jonestown Road. Whoever said the dispatch call wasn't pleasant was right. Very gruff and short. The cab arrived on time. The driver didn't get out in time to be helpful with my luggage and the trunk was dirty so my hands were dirty after I closed the trunk. When we arrived at my destination I handed the driver my credit card, which he said he could not accept. I asked if he could call it into his dispatch and ask them to run it. He said they didn't have a card machine. He had to drive me to an ATM so I could pay him and kept the meter on while doing so. There really isn't any excuse not to accept credit cards these days. Get a Square account! This trip to the ATM cost me 15-20 minutes on my journey and could have easily been avoided if either the dispatch had asked if I was using cash or credit or sent a taxi that could take a card! read more

The worst cab service EVER I advise you guys to download Lyft or Uber, had an altercation with this lady driver I think her cab number was 2.9 this lady was talking on her phone while driving swerving in the road not listening to my directions talking about she can read and still ended up not taking us to the right place. This is the worst damn cab company in existence. The dispatcher, jimmy, was rude and crass. I called once and he never even sent out the call till 45 minutes later. I asked the drive when he received the call and he said 15 minutes before he picked me up. It was already an hour later. Cabs smell like urin sometimes and I've smelled alcohol on the drivers. Many of the cabs smell like body odor. Some don't know english. There is nothing good to say about this company. When driving away he screamed "asshole" and "fuck you" out of his window. All of this while he had multiple patrons in his cab.
