I am a new member at KeyPoint but not new to credit unions in general. I was in the market for a newer vehicle and was looking for somewhere to apply for a loan and due to convenience (location not far from me) and knowing my former colleagues - who I worked with previously - had joined this CU I decided to apply here. I had the pleasure of working with Daphne who helped me finance my loan from start to finish. She was such a great representative to work with and was always prompt on getting back to me and answering any questions I had. I want to commend her on giving me an amazing experience and painting a great impression of the credit union for me. If anyone needs any help on loans, accounts, and inquiries I would definitely recommend working with Daphne. read more

Came in today at 12pm and somehow got front-row seats to the slowest bank experience of my life. There were 2 people working, no line, and still nobody helped me. One employee was with a customer for way too long, and the other dude was just sitting in his booth doing absolutely nothing like he was on display or something. I waited over 15 minutes just standing there looking confused, and not one person said hello, we'll be right with you, or even please wait. Not even the bare minimum. I really started wondering if I accidentally walked into a museum exhibit called Unbothered Employees in Their Natural Habitat. Ended up leaving because clearly my presence was just decorative. If y'all are gonna ignore people, at least make it entertaining lol read more

If you are working with an auto dealership and the run their lease financing through KeyPoint, run. I'm at my lease end and the return process is a painful, multi-week slog. Furthermore, I was unable to use my ending lease as negotiating leverage for my new lease b/c of the way KeyPoint doesn't work with other lenders. So in short, if car shopping, if these guys are the lender, think long and hard about whether to proceed. read more

KeyPoint Brokaw. I am a special case, they are helping me with a conservatorship for a friend of mine. Odd stuff. Not normal daily work. Gina, Jessica, Jazlyn and the crew at Brokaw have been above and beyond the BEST I have dealt with in Silicon Valley They have worked with me to get conservatorship set up, walked me through what paperwork they needed, helped get accounts straightened out. THEN! we find out someone has been scamming the conservatee! a lot. They all joined together helping me get disputes filed, working patiently to get everything going well. I cannot speak highly enough of the team at KeyPoint Brokaw Gina, Jessica, Jazlyn all others who helped, Thank you so much. You have gone above and beyond, and always with a friendly smile and kind words. Truly the best! read more

Keypoint is almost perfect Credit Union, but due to their greediness they are no better than an ordinary bank. Pros: - Modern WWW interface - 2FA using Google Authenticator (or any other similar) - Online Wire transfers - Zelle - Public SWIFT code - Nice, _local_ customer support that you can talk to. (No AI as of the end of 2024) Cons: GREEDY! They used to offer one time outgoing ACH transfers for free, now the only alternative to one time deposit money to a 3rd party account is $30 wire (plus any fees on the recipient side). Why this is a problem: - Not every one is enrolled with Zelle, - Venmo or Paypal is a 3rd party app and I don't like their T&Cs - I don't want to "link" all my accounts held by 3rd party banks since its time consuming and allows the money to move both ways - Wires are expensive ($30 outgoing + $10-$30 incoming) SHAME! So close to be perfect. read more

I just want to take a moment to recognize Cathryn Miranda at the Bokaw location of KeyPoint Credit Union. She is truly a gem -- professional, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. I drive all the way from the Campbell area specifically to work with her because I trust her wherewithal to get things done efficiently and with care. Cathryn has always gone above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, whether it's answering questions, resolving issues, or simply making you feel like a valued member. When she was away for a short time, her presence was definitely missed -- and I couldn't be happier that she's back! read more

You know what can be said about KPCU Brokaw office!? That the ladies and gents working are a great customer oriented team. They are very nice, helpful and I always leave happy. I've been with KPCU since I was a hundredaire and they've treated me like my name is Teff Dezos. KPCU is a one stop shop for all our family's financial needs. They offer great services from loans to financial literacy for the family. I would totally recommend KPCU, and KPCU Brokaw sets the bar that other financial institutions should strive to mimic. In particular, my transactions with Kathryn are professional, efficient, and comes with a side of great attitude. I had the pleasure of getting set up to do business with KeyPoint Credit Union, specifically, the Santa Clara office on La Rambla. The team was a pleasure to work with, but specifically, my point of contact was Jenni Ocampo, and I can't say enough about the 5-star service I experienced and the attention to detail I witnessed. For most organizations, customer service feels like a long-lost art, but with KeyPoint, the La Rambla team, and, specifically, Jenni Ocampo, customer service is what they do, and banking is how they express it. read more

My solar loan was bought out by KeyPoint. The original owner of the loan allowed for temporary release of mechanics lien on loan for refinancing. KeyPoint refused honor that agreement and provide temporary release of the lien. This prevented me from refinancing and ultimately cost me nearly 40k over the life of my loan. They were unfriendly, unhelpful, and sent me through many departments before I even got a final answer. I would avoid them at all costs, even if they offer you the cheapest loan you can find. read more

Took 6 hours to send a wire transfer that was initiated the day before costing delays for a home purchase, as well as delays I getting keys! After several phone calls of follow up to make sure the wire I send asap finally at 1:20 another rep lied and promised the wire would go out later 1:30. Didn't go out until 2:10. The purpose of a wire is to send money asap securely!!! I would give them Zero stars! Never recommend!! I will be closing all person and business accounts asap! read more

For as far back as I can remember our family has used Keypoint Credit Union as our mainstay banking platform. Over the years KPCU and its staff had provided high quality customer service which we came to expect and enjoy. I was planning to stay with the Credit Union for a long time however a recent incident with their customer service, and lack of proper resolution, has changed my viewpoint of the company. In essence, I spoke with one of their support centers about a mobile deposit and was given information that wasn't aligned with the what they could actually do -- I wanted to stop an incoming mobile deposit (and was charged for that service) however when I talked to one of their branch employees they explained that this was not a service that they provided. Due to the time sensitive nature of this request my roommate incurred numerous overdraft fees since his original check was not supposed to go through. This also resulted in financial strain on my end. When I spoke with KPCU management about compensation / resolution avenues they fell quite short even though the issue stemmed from an internal miscommunication. I will not be using KPCU's services in the future. read more

One day my wife and I got an email and a phone call about a low apr financing option that Keypoint was offering. We both wanted to buyout our leased vehicle, and this was the perfect time. So we decided to move forward by financing it through Keypoint Credit Union. The financial service representative by the name of Ahura Patino made the financing process as simple and easy as possible. She went above and beyond our expectations by responding and answering all of our questions within a timely manner, and also by making the buyout and financing process super quick. Being that we moved 2 hours from the closest Keypoint Institution, she still managed to make our in person trip convenient and painless. I would definitely recommend Ahura to anyone who is interested in using any of the services that Keypoint Credit Union has to offer. You wont regret it! Thank you Ahura for all your hard work! read more

I wish i can rate this bank 0 STARS !!!! Went to this location and I'm pretty upset w/ this bank. I asked the teller If there was any qualifications to open an account. She said no. She filled up the application and went to "review " the application she ran a "soft credit report without my permission. Came back and said they couldn't accept the application. Communicate lacked so much. Prior to this I did tell her i had trouble with my other bank and told her the reason) Would be nice to be aware of what she was going to do.
