It's a little oasis in a busy city that's worth a visit (if you're a lady, no dudes). Now - here's some things you need to know: *They provide disposable bottoms but you can bring a bikini if you want. Pretty much all the ladies had them so you probably want to bring one too. The disposable bottoms don't cover much. *Be prepared to be horrified by how much dead skin you're in possession of. They're going up get all of it. *This appears to be a popular spot for ladies to come together so I was probably one of the only solos - a little awkward. *I did the Prestige package and it was WORTH IT. *They give you a comb & have hair dryers do you can make yourself presentable after. *Everyone is seriously the nicest. I would go back, like every week if I could.

Honestly, Paris airport isn't the most inviting place, so I wanted to take a moment to relax here before facing the airport's frenzy. The spa is pretty exclusive, and I felt completely safe with the staff. While there might be some binary individuals, the environment is designed to make everyone feel at ease. You can enjoy your privacy, and the massage and other services are incredibly comforting when you need some time alone. My French isn't perfect, but I managed well, and they were very accommodating.

Love the huge space and it is the place where you can totally forget about anything else, stressless, and ENJOY workout. There is AC, so you don't have to be struggled by the hot weather. The window view is nice, and you see many pretty people working out there with you is A+++. Love the steam room, sauna, lockers, group lessons, energy bar, and especially the spin class (with steam if you want more challenging to your exercise). They gave you two towels. I think this chain store is sponsored by Armani. You only see Armani advertising in the entire area which is fine with me. Feel even more high-end. :)) The cost is a bit pricy. One day pass is $50, but people, it gives you AC if you know what I mean. I was at CMG, I paid $35. If you get out of the gym, cannot come back anymore unless you pay another $35. It was a small place filled with lots of people. Not enough equipments, less selective of facilities. No AC, no view. I thought I was like a blue shrimp swimming in a hot pot getting cooked. There is a gym at Latin quarter where asks for a same amount of fee, much older than CMG, same quality, but it has a big swimming pool on the 2nd floor. I was at a health club yesterday on Champs Elysees near Marriott hotel and it at the same building where Starbucks is located. It is at the basement, asking for $40/day. Big place, so so equipments, no street view, I felt kind of gloomy and suffocated already and I haven't even started working out. So if you really want your workout in Paris feels like a treat, come to L'usine!!!

The old industrial-hall-style Building undoubtedly has it´s Charme and they try their best to keep it clean (apart from the roof windows), but there is no hiding the fact that everything is just very old. I don´t see why this pool is more expensive than the others in Paris, as you are not exactly getting more for your money. What you get more of, is inconvenience (like waiting for the man to go around and open your dressing-booth, lots of stairs, blow-dryers not at the exit) and a public swimming-pool that is in no way Handicapped-accessible. Opening hours during school-weeks are also not very consumer-friendly. 1 hour 15 minutes they open some days around noon and still expect you to pay 4 Euro 80. And that´s just not worth it. But it´s different and if you want different, Pontoise is for you. The only authentical 1940ies bathing-experience that I know of ...

Delightful art deco 33m pool in Paris. Remember to take a bathing hat!…read moreSo pleased to have found this large, airy pool in Paris! 4.50 Euro per visit, with very complicated opening hours in between school use, so check times before going. After buying a ticket, you go upstairs and enter the 'no outdoor shoes area' where an unsmiling member of staff will snatch the ticket from your hand, and point you towards one of the individual cubicles which encircle the pool on two floors, in which to change. After changing you leave all your things locked in this personal cubicle, pulling the door shut behind you. Next - the 'obligatoire' (obligatory) shower (with your swimsuit on, even though it is a single sex shower) before entering the pool. Gentlemen please note bermudas are not allowed, and you too need to wear a bathing hat, even if you are bald. The water temperature is spot on, and the pool is not too crowded especially in the mornings. The lane discipline can be a bit lacking, with dawdlers kicking along with a float in the same lane as tanned speed kings churning past in a high velocity front crawl, nearly missing a plump granny doing slow but steady breast stroke, but amazingly it never seems to come to blows. Afterwards, return for another bizarre shower in your swimsuit, and then wait for the still-unsmiling attendant to come and open your cubicle to get dressed again. All in all, a wonderful pool, a delightful swim and I just wish they had something like this in London. Convenient Velib parking spot down the other end of the street. Perfect.
