This place is really going downhill. Had to try 3 bays today before I found one that worked. One swiped my card but there was no selector knob (charged me $1.75 for the pleasure), the other could not read my card....then I finally found one that worked. Who needs this aggravation? read more

Went there to vacuum, machine took my $2 but didn't work. Nobody there or phone number to correct situation.

We stopped by Key West Car Wash to wash our boat after fishing all night. It is an older self service car wash but covers all the bases regarding facilities for washing your vehicle, boat etc, including a stall with a boat engine flush option. My husband was disappointed when he encountered issues with poor water pressure and the machine was acting up in the stall he was using. I called to speak with management, but got voicemail and fully expected we wouldn't hear back (due to most companies not seeming to care about customer service much anymore) . However, to my surprise, I received a call back almost instantly from Kristen, who listened to my complaint and then apologized for the inconvenience we experienced. She advised she would be going in to the car wash later to review/resolve issue and confirmed she would send us a credit to use in an alternate stall. She was very pleasant to speak with and kept her word, sending the code to us right away. This sort of attention to a customer's needs is a rarity in today's world and a quality my husband and I value with regarding any business entity we frequent. Special thanks to Kristen for restoring our confidence via her handling of the situation with positive communication and by following up promptly. She has earned a repeat customer for Key West Car Wash and a recommendation to anyone else who wants to know they will be prioritized, as customers! read more

Washed 2 cars there yesterday, in 2 separate bays. We only used "hi pressure rinse" and "spot free rinse". I've done this for years, always been satisfied. Not anymore. This is the 2nd time I came home with the car(s) dirtier than when I went in; we waxed the cars immediately afterward, using spray on "NanoWax". If you've ever used Nanowax, you know that you spray it on, and wipe it right off, before it dries. Well, the rags we used to wipe it off were filthy black, from all the dirt we were wiping off. They are using filthy water over there, to wash the cars. I don't know if there are filters that need changing, or if the water itself has an issue..but something is REAL WRONG! I probably won't go back, unless the owner writes and tells me he corrected a problem. Otherwise, NO WAY. Cannot recommend this place to anybody! read more

I've had a couple problems with the machines at this car wash as it takes money but malfunctions and doesn't end up starting a wash. I called the owner and she was very helpful and even gave me a free deluxe car wash for my issues. read more

This is by far the biggest rip off car wash. The foam brush has an insane amount of soap coming out. That's the set up because the so called high pressure hose actually dribbles out water so you will pump quarters in trying to rinse all the suds off. $7.00 later, I drove off with suds still on car. Bad Karma for Key West Car Wash. You are deliberately scamming people out of money so that you can benefit. And if you blame it on the machines....guess what..they're your machines!!! read more

Worse after wash! Used this automated car wash yesterday. Not only was it probably the worst of its kind I've used but it also FALSLY REPRESENTED ITSELF. I chose the upgrade to the $10 wash so that I could have the car BLOW DRIED AS ADVERTISED (After which I wipe off the inevitable water spots and windows). Not only did it not blow dry my car, IT WAS NOT EVEN EQUIPPED WITH BLOWERS. Calling it a rip off sound cliche but this truly was. Furthermore the areas that the wash had attempted to clean were covered with VERY DIRTY WATER SPOTS (Advertised as spot free). I question what kind of water they rinsed my car with. In addition when I got out to attempt to dry the van off with a rag I carry for such an occasion I found the car to be worse than when I pulled in. At least then the dirt was evenly spread on the van. In spite of the spinning cleaners beating the heck out of the van (My wife and I looked at each other and commented during the wash in surprise and worry about what this wash was doing to the paint job), the van came out mostly dirty (how does this happen?). The back window of the van was so dirty that after wiping it I could not continue to use the rag on the rest of the van. I was kind of embarrassed to show up at the family function I was going to because the van looked worse than dirty now. At least the bird poop on the side window was gone. This car wash is great when it is working. Unfortunately, most of the time it is broken or breaks down while you are in the bay. It is a sad situation as this area really needs a good low cost wash. read more

Someone is not minding the store. After several visits I have given up even though it is closest to my house. The high pressure soap may or may not have soap, the blue foam protectant gun was broken and would not dispense the foam, the high pressure wax did not contain wax, the vacuum had very low rate of suction force and all the trash cans at the vacuum stations were over flowing. What does work is the timer when there is a minute left. read more

Paid for spray wax and received only water. Complained to the attendant and was told that was a "new style" of wax. I wasn't born yesterday. I would rather drive the extra miles to get to a carwash that doesn't blow smoke. Do not recommend this to anyone read more
