Mutts Electric was actually the third estimate we received. He didn't try to upsale and the price was right! His techs came to do the install were knowledgable and efficient. From the very first phone call to the completion of the project our experience was flawless. Highly recommend. DO NOT USE MUTTS ELECTRIC. I GOT A REQUEST FOR REVIEW BEFORE THE WORK WAS DONE…read more Owner responded by replying saying all customers were notified of his purchase of Jeff Masters Electric. Never got an email. In middle of August Ryan never showed up at a scheduled appointment in Venice. He never called and finally after my calling them when I am standing there with my customer they sent Tim. Tim had no clue what he was doing and no idea how to even talk to us about redoing lights in a commercial space. In the next 2 weeks all I heard from Tim was excuses of why he could not give us a price for work about 60 to 65 lights. Never did here from hi.or Mutt's Electric with any price quote Then called them and set an appointment for today and was quoted over $700 only to change out 2 boxes from plastic to metal ceiling mount. The technician was Darren. When Darren showed up he did not even have a ladder over 6 feet to reach a 12 foot ceiling. Darren gave excuse after excuse. Then about 2 hours later there service manager called and asked what they could do to smooth it over. They want the review taken down. Owner responding and even admitted they raised there prices. However if you google the owner Zachary Mutnik you will find Youtubes and other posts bragging about how much money he is making from his Electric company. Also admits he trucks are operating illegally because they do not have any markings on them. Imagine all of this from someone that wants your money.

Dan and Gabriel from Sergeant's Electric did a great job installing two surge protectors for me…read more Dan took the time to explain how everything works and what to do if there is ever a problem, which I really appreciated. I also asked them about some battery-operated shades I eventually want to hardwire, and they were very helpful in explaining the options and what they could do. They showed strong problem-solving skills and offered alternate solutions when discussing how to fix issues, which gave me confidence in their work. Their prices also seemed fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend Sergeant's Electric for anyone looking for knowledgeable, helpful, and trustworthy electricians.

At first contact I was told that there would be a two man team for $ 140/ hr. not per manhour Which I was eventually billed. This was a surprise as one of the men was in training but still was billed at $140. Secondly, when I had called I explained one Of my needs was getting my boat lift to work again. After completion of their work I was told one side of the lift didn't work and that they don't work on boat lifts. They did get the power. Working out to the lift but that's not the purpose of hiring them. When I was out in the yard the following day I found that the cover plate had not been reinstalled on one of the junction boxes that were worked on. Another task was to figure out...never mind. Just wasn't a good experience.

I had replaced my Square D GFI breaker 3 times for my pool pump in the last year. I decided I…read moreneeded to call a electrician so I called Matt's Electric Inc. Matt answered and I told him the problem and he said no problem I can fix i! He stopped by and told me about the problem and it didn't have to do with anything that I did and it was a ongoing issue with Square D GFI breakers! He explained that he had installed over 300 for new pools in the last 2 years and had to replace 95% of them and Square D wouldn't even give him credit for the defective breakers! I couldn't get any credit for the ones that I had installed either! So Matt installed a Siemens disconnect with a Siemens 20amp 240v GFI breaker beside my Square D panel and wired the pool pump to the new Siemens GFI breaker and its been working great and the bill was very reasonable! Note: this was about 4 months ago and the Siemens breaker is still working perfect and I just had Matt come for another repair and he did a great job again troubleshooting a bad connection and had me fixed in no time! Thanks for the great service I will definitely be calling Matt for any of my electrical needs! Marc.H

Matt did some electrical work for us at our previous home and it was fantastic, so we called him…read moreagain years later when we had a pool heater switch issue and replacement of dock outlet due to Milton. He sent two young men to do the work. They replaced the switch at the pool heater, then replaced the outlet on our dock. (they did a good job). When we paid, we asked if both worked and they assured us they did. I turned the pool heater on then went back and checked it minutes later. The switch tripped and kept tripping, wouldn't come back on. I texted Matt and asked if his young guys knew what they were doing because the switch kept tripping. He said that his guys have five years experience and know all about pool heaters and that it was probably a blown compressor due to Milton and other recent hurricanes. I asked him if they would come back out to check if the compressor was bad. He said next week. Never heard from him again. Whether he was offended by me calling his workers young, IDK, but my husband ended up fixing the switch himself and it works fine. It was just a bad connection. I'm glad the cost wasn't too great or I'd be more angry. Matt made two mistakes. He didn't check their work when questioned and he never returned our calls.
