I was accused of being a bullying victim, a homosexual and a recent expellee. It was like the first episode of the Inbetweeners. The school seemed to always be in competition with the neighbouring comprehensive school, Tudor Grange. They had the better exam results of the two and the better reputation for behaviour and attendance. The school was a welcome relief to me; I was pushed too hard at the other school by staff and peers alike. This was a new start in a more liberal school. And I got all of my GCSE's at grades A*-C's and was very happy with Alderbrook for all their help and support at the end of my time there. These days' people say that schools should be stricter like they were in the 1950's. If an approach like this had been adopted when I was at school I would have crashed and burned. I've never liked being told what to do, so Alderbrook was great for me.

However, I soon learnt that where the lectures take place didn't matter as the degree was still accredited by the University. I'd say the main advantage of choosing UCB is that it's the college where young chefs learn their trade. Part of their course would allow them to run the student canteen which meant that we were spoilt daily with restaurant style food but charged student prices. One day I had a lemon chicken risotto with home-made apple crumble and custard for £2! If you live locally, you can walk in to the reception and ask to be let through to the onsite bakery where you can purchase fresh bread and cakes for 50 pence. Definitely worth popping in.

They explain just If you ask (and if they are free) . I think you should pay a bit more and get a private teacher.v But I'm just a 15 years old boy . Sollihull School is a day school for children aged 7-18. Children may attend for all 10 years of their Junior and Senior school years, or apply for admission at the age of 16, to attend only the Sixth Form school. The school is situated on several acres near Sollihull town centre on a very attractive plot with emerald-green lawns and Georgian red brick buildings. The only building that seems to really need some improvement is the gymnasium, which is being rebuilt in 2010-2011, thankfully. The extensive and demanding curriculum includes the Arts, the Classics, Business Studies, an excellent Music programme, and dedication to the Sciences, just to name a few. The school operates a no-tolerance approach to bullying, and the pupils I know who go there say that teachers and play area assistants are quick to intervene if a child is being isolated or bullied. Though the A Level and GCSE results are excellent, the homework load is not very rigorous, leaving families and children time for extra-curricular activities. The fees are high, at just over £7700 per year for under-11s and just under £9500 for over-11s. For the past month or so I've been going to the college on Wednesday's supporting a fashion design workshop. The college is actually pretty big and looks like it has a diverse number of courses. It also has a fabulous gym, for those who love exercising a lot. See that's not for me!! I'm more interested in the vending machines, where I can find my daily supply of chocolate. The fashion lab the Talent 2012 participants have been working in at the college is really nice and it has so much equipment facilities. Also, if you are wanting to study fashion at the college, then ask for a lecturer/teacher called Sally; she's amazing.

I can say, hands down, that Hall Green School is the nicest I have ever worked in. Pupils are polite and respectful (well, they were when I was there) and there seemed to be a mix of able bodied and disabled pupils who all got along fine and looked out for eachother. It was like being in another world and I would have loved to have gotten a long term placement there, even though it took me forever to get there each day from the Jewellery Quarter.

I highly recommend those that want to go to a secondary school to go to this one as the teachers are very inspirational and uplifting. There is also loads of fascinating trips you can go to, and reward schemes implemented for you to achieve your full potential. The dinner there is just awesome too, you will be spilt for choice! Everything will most likely be halal as the chool is like 98% of the lovely Muslim community.
