She had another family ahead of me so I said I would return at 2 for my APPOINTMENT. I waited another 20 mins and asked the employee (rude man dressed as the grinch) how long it would be and he snapped at me saying he didn't know but that it's unknown because they work with children. He told me this a few times. My son was getting antsy so I asked VERY POLITELY what timeframe we were looking at. The grinch man then told me abruptly to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am the customer. I had an appointment which I had made in person earlier today and since they work with children all the time they should understand that there is a small window for a happy child willing to pose for pictures. But they told me to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am horrified and stunned at this incredibly poor customer service. Again, I am the customer and was well within my right to ask what to expect since they clearly took extra customers before me even though they knew I had a 2pm appointment on the books. But they didn't care. They feel it is ok to treat a pregnant woman and her 21 month old with such disrespect. Never patronize this business. They treat customers very poorly and were abusive, rude and downright mean. Who does that??? It's Christmas season. How has this become acceptable?? Horrible and the owner Kim (?) should be ashamed and fire her assistant.

For photos that are gallery worthy, ...hire Josiah Hassler Photography!  This man is an artist…read morefirst and foremost and it shows in his work.  We have so many beautiful photos from both our engagement session and our wedding that we are proud to have hanging in our home.  Our only warning is that Josiah has an artist's eye.  He captures moments you wouldn't even think of, but there were some traditional pictures that we felt were missed (just my mom and I posed and smiling, for example).  Such a silly photo that you don't even notice is missing until you go to post a "Happy Mother's Day" post on facebook and realize you don't have it.  We spoke with Josiah post-wedding and gave him our constructive criticism, which he welcomed.  He improves with every wedding he does and is learning how to best navigate the business side of his artistry.  I would recommend him to any bride hoping to capture her Pinterest-Perfect wedding!

From first coming across Steve's work on his website, to receiving our images this week, we…read morecouldn't be more pleased with our choice of wedding photographer. His style of "wedding journalism" captures the realness and raw emotions associated with the day. I went through our photos and was able to relive each and every moment that Steve expertly captured. Most of my friends that have gotten married say that it is so hard to remember your wedding day, especially the small, seemingly insignificant moments that are overshadowed by vows and toasts and dances. What I appreciate about Steve the most was his ability to capture those sweet moments. Hugs from closest friend from college, my mother holding hands with my best friend during our first dance, the look on my dad's face after he walked me down the aisle. These moments are pure gold and I'm so grateful to have them memorialized. In addition to being a great photographer, Steve is just a great guy. I knew from our first conversation that we were going to work well together. I didn't pretend to know what I wanted or how this was supposed to go. He guided me through it and gave me his recommendations on things (the best hours for him to be there, whether or not we should do certain posed photos). He was just the right amount of communicative throughout. During the wedding, I honestly have no idea how he shot so many awesome photos because I didn't notice that a photographer was there. When I chatted with him during the wedding, he felt more like a guest. Our friends and family also commented on how great he is. If you're looking for super polished, riding a unicorn into the sunset kinds of photos, Steve probably isn't for you (although I wouldn't doubt that he has even more skills I don't know about). If you want an honest capture of your big day and photos that tell the story of your wedding, don't look any further. I couldn't imagine being happier with the end result.
