Most importantly, he really knew our venue, from how the sunlight would hit the mountain at different times of day to the best way to avoid the wind. On the day of the wedding, Jeramie really showed his creativity. He took some super-fun shots of both sides of the bridal party, from the guys playing poker to the gals on the ski lift. He kept our energy up all day and made the whole experience fun and happy. Jeramie seems to know all of the vendors in town, too. He coordinated with our florist and baker and even followed up with our baker after she left when we had a question. Unsurpassed venue knowledge, a keen eye for great shots, and a personality that kept us laughing even when we were tired - Jeramie has it all. We can't recommend him enough!

The…read morewoman, who said she was the owner suggested I arrive 20-30 minutes early for a photo shoot for my 21 month old son, which I did. She had another family ahead of me so I said I would return at 2 for my APPOINTMENT. I waited another 20 mins and asked the employee (rude man dressed as the grinch) how long it would be and he snapped at me saying he didn't know but that it's unknown because they work with children. He told me this a few times. My son was getting antsy so I asked VERY POLITELY what timeframe we were looking at. The grinch man then told me abruptly to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am the customer. I had an appointment which I had made in person earlier today and since they work with children all the time they should understand that there is a small window for a happy child willing to pose for pictures. But they told me to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am horrified and stunned at this incredibly poor customer service. Again, I am the customer and was well within my right to ask what to expect since they clearly took extra customers before me even though they knew I had a 2pm appointment on the books. But they didn't care. They feel it is ok to treat a pregnant woman and her 21 month old with such disrespect. Never patronize this business. They treat customers very poorly and were abusive, rude and downright mean. Who does that??? It's Christmas season. How has this become acceptable?? Horrible and the owner Kim (?) should be ashamed and fire her assistant.

I have had the pleasure of having two sittings with him, one for family portraits, and the other for business portraits. Both times, his studio was clean, well organized, and purposeful in every area. He looks at how you are trying to portray yourself and develops strategies to photograph you for those situations. The sittings have an informal feel, but definitely productive. He is constantly looking for new ways to capture you, and new ways to position you so that you get the look you're hoping for. Throughout, he shows you the photos he's taken to get some idea of what works and what you like so that he can continue to expand on those areas. Afterwards, he sends the proofs for you to review, and once you give your feedback, within a day or two Michael gets back to you with the high resolution copies of the photos that have been retouched and finalized. I will go back to Jeff's studio as often as possible for my future needs! I highly recommend him and Michael!

His personality matched well with ours, and the day flowed very smoothly. There were a lot of laughs, at the very beginning during the "getting ready" shots. But as the night progressed I honestly didn't even notice he was there (sorry Steve!). Needless to say, he took some pretty damn amazing photos! We knew his style was different then most photographers. His photos tell a story from beginning to end, more candid and less posed. His style of "wedding journalism" captures the realness and raw emotions associated with the day. I went through our photos and was able to relive each and every moment that Steve expertly captured. Most of my friends that have gotten married say that it is so hard to remember your wedding day, especially the small, seemingly insignificant moments that are overshadowed by vows and toasts and dances. What I appreciate about Steve the most was his ability to capture those sweet moments. Hugs from closest friend from college, my mother holding hands with my best friend during our first dance, the look on my dad's face after he walked me down the aisle. These moments are pure gold and I'm so grateful to have them memorialized. In addition to being a great photographer, Steve is just a great guy. I knew from our first conversation that we were going to work well together. I didn't pretend to know what I wanted or how this was supposed to go. He guided me through it and gave me his recommendations on things (the best hours for him to be there, whether or not we should do certain posed photos). He was just the right amount of communicative throughout. During the wedding, I honestly have no idea how he shot so many awesome photos because I didn't notice that a photographer was there. When I chatted with him during the wedding, he felt more like a guest. Our friends and family also commented on how great he is. If you're looking for super polished, riding a unicorn into the sunset kinds of photos, Steve probably isn't for you (although I wouldn't doubt that he has even more skills I don't know about). If you want an honest capture of your big day and photos that tell the story of your wedding, don't look any further. I couldn't imagine being happier with the end result.
