He captured the light beautifully setting behind the trees but keeping my daughter the spotlight. He was great with hand placement & we were very comfortable with him. And the pictures turned out FANTASTIC! He delivered the sneak peak just as he said he would, followed up with the edited pictures for us in a timely manner. If he were closer to us (we are in Illinois), we would use him for all of our pictures.

Booking and payment were super easy online, and communication was excellent the whole way through. We told him we got married 25 years ago on a beach somewhere on the Nevada side of South Lake Tahoe (the exact spot is still a mystery!), and when he suggested Zephyr Cove Resort Beach, we knew he was our guy. I'll admit I was more nervous than my husband, but Daniel immediately made us feel comfortable. He's easy to talk to, fun, and knows exactly how to guide you through natural poses without anything feeling fake. We were laughing (actual laughing tears!) the entire time. We had the best time. We just got our proofs back, and I am beyond thrilled. His work is beautiful!! We started at 5pm and he got all the best of the area! Unreal!! Alex and Wendy have got two completely different personalities she is from England so it is just hilarious to interact with her because of the different cultures. They know how to bounce ideas off of each other to make the pictures perfect. When I got my photography session I was so very nervous but they have a way of just putting you at ease that within a few minutes you are just having a ball! They do not force you into poses that are not natural which is a huge bonus in my opinion and they learn how to get the best end results even if it's kind of unconventional. For example me I apparently would do a little duck face not realizing it and then I would giggle or I would smile that is the picture that Alex wanted to capture and I had no clue until I saw the pictures in the end and was just amazed. He told me this a few times. My son was getting antsy so I asked VERY POLITELY what timeframe we were looking at. The grinch man then told me abruptly to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am the customer. I had an appointment which I had made in person earlier today and since they work with children all the time they should understand that there is a small window for a happy child willing to pose for pictures. But they told me to leave and NEVER COME BACK. I am horrified and stunned at this incredibly poor customer service. Again, I am the customer and was well within my right to ask what to expect since they clearly took extra customers before me even though they knew I had a 2pm appointment on the books. But they didn't care. They feel it is ok to treat a pregnant woman and her 21 month old with such disrespect. Never patronize this business. They treat customers very poorly and were abusive, rude and downright mean. Who does that??? It's Christmas season. How has this become acceptable?? Horrible and the owner Kim (?) should be ashamed and fire her assistant.
