This place is trying to be a real Marina, but they don't really treat you like a real Marina. I kept my boat there for a few months deciding if I was gonna keep it year-round try to go fishing one day called left messages over and over and nobody calls you back I get there the next morning and I asked the guy why my boat wasn't in the water and his answer was we don't do that here so they don't do early morning drops so you can never leave earlier than 8 AM. You have to wait till they open and if there's other boats in front of you being dropped, then you have to wait. Also they barely have any water hoses to clean your boat. If you do come back after 5 o'clock you have to leave your boat Tied up to another boat. They might have maybe five or six spots max, but that's it very unprofessional how they treat people and talk to you. I will never go back to the marina again. read more

Very honest opinion: Very dirty marina, the service is basically non existent if you aren't persistent. The location is trash. If you do manage to get your boat launched into the water, it will take FOREVER, if there's even space! The people & employees present are rude. Overall, the atmosphere is not welcoming. The administration is unorganized & very unprofessional. It feels like you're dealing with crooks as opposed to people who actually care about offering good services. It pays to be very, very cautious when selecting a marina because once your boat is in there, pulled from the water, dry and setting up on those boat yard blockings your wallet can end up being little more than captured, caged prey and some of them don't mind raping it over. Key Largo is a neat, clean rather big marina but to me one with little if any bang for the buck, excessive fees with generally arrogant management. Oh, they tend to be rather nice but that is before your boat is hoisted out. After that, watch out! read more

This business double charged me three times and I only was reimbursed once, after I left the slip they danced me around about my deposit money and now I am suing them! This is not a marina as much as it is a large boat yard where all kinds of work can be done on your boat. It is safe and secure but offers few amenities for a cruiser. Don't expect, showers, laundry, wifi. but it is near almost everything in Key Largo. Best kept secret in the Florida Keys! When we hauled out costs and options were described in detail. No suprises. Other marinas have hit us with 'extra charges' for materials and for friends helping on our boat but this marina didn't. This is a do-it-yourself yard. Pros: Can work without being hassled, can find local contractors if needed, clean shower, bathrooms and laundry, and wi-fi. Security is never a problem as the gates are locked in the evenings and a security guard is on staff. Cons: Cable and additional showers would be nice. read more

I have a had a nightmare experience with this place for bottom paint work. Quoted price higher when I brought the boat in rather than over the phone, promised in 3 days, still waiting over 2 weeks later. One of the owners, Chris was incredibly rude and spiteful to me. He refused to give me the boat when it was finally finished and I came to pay the bill. Made me drive back down from Miami to pick it up again. Deliberately wasting my time and 2 weekends. I am not one to normally write a review unless the service is outstanding or an all-out scam. In this case Key Largo Harbor Marina falls into the latter classification of an all-out scam. I caution anyone from doing any business with this place. I had my 47' sailboat here February of 2017 this year and received a quote from this marina for a bottom sanding, priming and two coats of Micron 66. They were very accommodating and would bend over backwards for me up until I dropped the boat off and then things changed. The attached pictures show before and after shots of the keel. The after shots were taken 24 hours later after the boat was lifted out in another marina. It is clear the keel was never sanded or primed. Now the cost to fix is $1,700. That's after paying $2400 to key largo harbor marina. They also charged me an extra $150 for sanding the keel. On top of all of this they somehow managed to break through the gel coat on the keel. Another $900 to repair this. I have tried to reach this business to discuss making this right and they have never returned my phone calls or emails. My attorney as well sent a notice and they failed to even respond to that. **WARNING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.** read more

Hey folks. This marina is under new management. It is beautiful. The new owners are from South America and are meticulous about the cleanliness of the grounds. It is the cleanest marina I have ever been at. I recommend looking at them if you are in the market for in and out storage for your boat. read more

Took my boat in for fiberglass repair, bottom paint, 100 hour check. Unlike most places in the Keys, they went to work right away. Prices were very fair and work outstanding. Hard to find quality service in the Keys sometimes, but this has been perfect. Staff is so helpful and I totally recommend. read more

Just had our 42' sailboat, Pura Vida, hauled out and the bottom painted and topsides detailed. We can't say enough good things about the staff at this marina. The owners are there everyday and very active in the operation of the yard. Highly recommend their services, very meticulous and thorough. Very secure 24/7. They are making improvements to the facilities and getting better everyday. It's never fun to live "on the hard," but the staff here made us feel at home.
