He tried to fill the root of a tooth, which caused severe pain. He kept telling me that the nerve was just irritated. I went through nearly 4 weeks of agonizing pain. I went back and he sent one of the young guys, I guess he was doing a internship in to see about it. He told me that he could not understand why Dr. Hayes tried filling the root, because that was never going to work. I can't remember if it was the same youg dentist ot one of the others pulled it. After 2 days, I was on severe pain. I called and told the receptionist that I had a dry socket. They passed that off. It only hot worse, abd when I looked at it with a mirror, it had puss in the socket. Another young dentist deadened it, cleaned the socket out and packed it with some medicated stuff. I went through that 2 or 3 times. The place where the tooth was still hurts. My insurance paid Dr. Hayes around $1800 for "fixing the tooth. He said that he would do an implant. After what I went through, I'm NOT having it done there....I'm DONE with Sky Family Dental. I told him that I would rather go back to Dr. Misty Roberts, whom I have used before for doing my other implants. Dr. Hayes was supposed to refund the money for the botched tooth. I have called about it. and no one does crap. I need the money for an implant so that I can chew on the right side. It's been about 5 or 6 months, and I have not got the money back yet..despite calling. I don't know if I should call my insurance company or get a lawyer. Mrs. Hayes, do not message me again. Get your husband to msje things right. I also want ALL of my records.

After paying almost $1,000 of my part, they are now asking for another $581.00. This is after they filed on my dental insurance and received payment from them as well. The insurance company told me that they were not in-network so was paid out of network rates, This was only 1 crown. I'm very disappointed that they did not stand up to what they told me my portion would be. I was so excited about having a dentist in network in Brandon, MS. I would not recommend anyone to their office.

Have been going to this dental group for about 25 years. I feel my family and I have been well…read moretaken care of. Sure, I have had crowns come off or not fit quite right; however the team has always replaced the crowns and adjusted the fit until everything is just right. Sometimes you have to wear a crown for a day or so in order to tell whether the fit needs adjusting. The staff have always been good about getting me or my family in to see the dentist quickly when I need to be seen for urgent or out of the ordinary issues. Every dentist who has treated me or my family and performed procedures such as extractions have always called to check on us and addressed any issue or questions that have arisen. They have always been kind and provide several financial options to make care more affordable.
