    Wow! What a difference a mile makes…read more This is a small, extremely busy bank, conveniently located on Ridge Road East, between Hudson and Joseph Avenues. The receptionist here is the absolute best. She is warm, welcoming, professional and friendly. After the disastrous visit to the new ES&L a mile away on Hudson Avenue near Titus Avenue, I was so glad to be able to come here and do the business I went there to do. The tellers are always nice and friendly and I'm always amazed that if that they either recognize me or remember my name out of the hundreds of people that they must serve every day. I mentioned my disastrous experience at the grand opening of the branch on Hudson Avenue today, and the teller was absolutely surprised and apologized for my terrible experience. She asked if she could put in a complaint (she said they needed to know about that experince) and that she could do it anonymously. I told her she could use my name and again she said she was sorry that I had that experience. Again, I can't say enough about this bank, I've never had anything less than a stellar experience here. Perhaps those involved at the Hudson Avenue branch should spend a day here and learn how they can give customers such an experience, too.

    I was recently scammed by a company who I ordered some products from. Two of which I returned…read morebecause I couldn't use, and then which I didn't receive a refund for, and then one product didn't even work, and I was told by them to return it at my own expense, and realizing I was being scammed I filed a charge back. At first the charge back was denied because I had approved the transaction. I was very worried that my case had not been properly reviewed and that I was going to have to take what amounted to a $100 loss that I really could not afford at the time. I was emailed by a CNB employee named Jessica Young Carbonel from the Alexander Park branch to say that the provisional credit was going to be reversed so I had to think about how I was going to recoup my loss. I remembered getting a card in the mail for chase bank offering $100 to start an account with them, but I looked up reviews about them online, and then thought about the 16 or so years I've been with CNB and how I've always been happy with their service until now, and that I couldn't expect to be happy with the service elsewhere. So I pleaded my case to Jessica and told her how I was getting scammed and really couldn't afford to lose that $100 right now and that I depended upon my bank to keep my money safe from such fraud. I didn't expect anything but the same customer service scripts I'm so used to getting from companies making excuses for not helping...but much to my surprise Jessica called me the next day to tell me she had worked with her supervisor to stop the provisional credit from being reversed. I'm so relieved and happy to know that I'm with a financial institution that I can trust to keep me safe from scammers and fraud, and that there are employee's like Jessica who won't just use customer service scripts to avoid doing work on solving customers problems but will actually go above and beyond the call of duty to deal with these things and make sure I'm not incurring a loss. She also told me that this credit was coming from the bank itself and not back from the vendor, that the bank is covering me personally to make sure I stay whole, which I am so astonished and grateful for its hard to express. So after this experience I know for certain I've been with such a good and trustworthy bank for the last 16 years and will continue to be a loyal customer for decades to come.
