Prior to seeing Dr. Ford, I had tried acupuncture, cortisone injections, massage, elbow braces, hand braces... and nothing worked. I was 27 years old with crippling arm pain and I was feeling very hopeless. It had gotten to the point where washing my hair in the shower was causing significant pain and I saw no end in sight. Then my friend shared about PRP therapy and recommended Dr. Ford. I even have a huge needle phobia but I was willing to try anything at that point. Dr. Ford is brilliant, patient, and so kind. I was so nervous and even skipped the lidocane so I would be pricked less (the needle phobia is real!) But Dr. Ford was very skilled and while the injections into my forearm felt SO weird, it was not very painful. I went in for a few treatments (I believe 4 or 5?) and he treated both arms each time. I felt some relief almost immediately and complete relief by the end of the treatments. My arms felt a bit weak, but the pain was gone! The space is small, but the couch is comfy and there's an outlet right there so you can plug in your devices. After surgery, Wafaa was especially wonderful. She was so caring and gentle with my daughter. She brought the warming machine since my daughter was shivering after surgery. I didn't directly go to this place initially for my medical need and I never used their surgeons…read more I believe they have their own surgeons and they also let other surgeons use the operating rooms at this facility, My surgeon's office told me that I will have my surgery done at South Pacific Surgery Center. He normally does his surgeries at a different location, but for that particular date I was looking for, the other center was already taken. I was given the name and address of the surgery center, and I tried look them up. All I could find about this place was that the earlier 6 reviews here on Yelp, "recommend" this place without giving much juicy details. So, I showed up at this place on the day of surgery trusting my surgeon's choice! Parking: Underneath the building, The entrance is right at the front. $17.50 daily max (at the time of his review); it maxes out pretty quickly. No card accepted. Surgery Center does not validate the tickets. The waiting area is nice but not very large, but that wasn't a problem since not many people were going to wait for me during the surgery and they have only two surgery rooms. The facility is nice and clean altogether. Henry: called me one business day before the surgery to remind me of the procedure and confirm the date, time, location and went over the basic pre-op dos and don'ts. I met him on the morning of surgery. He is a very sweet guy and put me at ease while he was with me taking vitals and going over the paper works. Then came Odette: heaven-sent Odette! I am so glad that SHE was the nurse who took care of me throughout the whole process. She put the IV in (ouch!), walked with me to the OR, situated me on the table, strapped me to the table, put the leg warmers and extra blanket on me. And when I woke up she was with me the whole time, making sure I was fine, until she wheeled me to the car. I never felt that I'm just another case under hands of a nurse. I felt like my own mother was taking care of me. God bless her! Dr Sheikh: the anesthesiologist, the king of Versed! He was very very friendly and put me at ease instantly when he introduced himself and went over my anesthesia's history and past experiences. I remember walking from the prep room to the operating room, feeling like: doodood, doodood, doodooooo.... There was another lady in blue scrub in the OR. I think she was the scrub nurse. I don't remember us talking, or maybe we did .... gotta love that Versed!!! In my case, I knew that I never had to financially deal with the surgery center as my surgeon had already taken care of that part, but the lady at the front desk insisted that I must sign and accept the financial responsibilities, which I believe was redundant. All in all, this place is professional and nice and I had a great experience. NOW... I can say I can 'recommend' this place.

She does NOT rush you through the appointment and you can tell that she truly cares. I came to her for one small issue that I had and it was only because of her due diligence that we were able to find that I have issues that need to be addressed right away.
