This is the WORST attorney I have ever spoken too. My husband and I have been discriminated,…read moreharassed, retaliated, and sexually abused by our previous employer. Attorney Bill Julien called my cell phone this evening 04/29/2025 at 5:46PM asking about our case. First off, right off the batt on the call he goes "tell me whats happening"...... ummmmm okay, I asked if his intake had sent over the information we had told them earlier. He seemed very standoffish and uninterested. I tried explaining to him the series of events and what happened with us. He kept interrupting me to the point I had to tell him, "im not finished talking". Before I could even finish explaining to him what happened to us, he started talking about MAGA judges in the federal courts and stuff..... WTF does that have to do with our case we have!!!! Its not even at the federal level! He then stated that we probably dont have any evidence to back up our claim... Yet we have recordings, emails, text messages, teams messages, ect to prove every aspect of our case. It got to the point I ended up telling him its not going anywhere with him and told him to have a nice day and hung up. This attorney may have several 5 star ratings, but that doesnt excuse the attitude he had and the fact that he would not let me finish explaining our case and assuming on his end. Too bad for him, but he is not the only attorney we have contacted. Also Bill, because I know your going to see this.... This isnt the first sexual orientation lawsuit we have been in unfortunately..... so yes, we know what we needed to keep to prove our case, but you just wanted to an ass on the phone..... also I put a screenshot of the call log incase you try to claim this never happened........ I would steer clear of him...........

If I could put zero star I would. We contacted this office for a potential work discrimination case…read moreback in June 2018. We actually called three different offices in the area and Whittel and Melton were the first to call and immediately took the case. We guess they did not do any prior due diligence from the statements we wrote about the facts of the case since yesterday the paralegal, Peter Linton-Smith, told us over the phone that they were not representing us. We felt blindsided as these people (very unprofessional) made us lose crucial time in the case. In addition, we believe that the staff is very incompetent. As an example, Peter Linton advised us to sign a form labeled "Separation and Release of Claims Agreement" on the premise that signing this form would have not waived our rights to sue. We were shocked by his incompetence considering that the title of the form alone clearly stated that it is a release of claims meaning that we would have waived our rights to future lawsuits against the company if we had signed the form. When it comes to discrimination, we believe that this firm only goes after cases where explicit racial slurs are used. During several conversations, the paralegal kept asking us whether any specific words were used. Although we did not include any such allegations in our written statements, but the fact that he kept asking made us suspicious that without certain trigger words they would not know how to pursue a discrimination case. Overall, our experience with this firm was extremely poor. We spoke with the attorney, Jay, only once when he jumped to take the case. Otherwise, we were left to deal with a paralegal who clearly had no clue of legal issues and procedures.
