So I had farmers insurance for about 10 years or so then I actually tried to whole "save 15% in 15 minutes". Well I don't remember the amount of time, but I'm sure it was well over 15 minutes, but I saved around 50%. My premiums for me and my wife went from around $3800 a year down to $2000 with better coverage. I can't quiet compare since now I have road side assistance as well as mechanical damage coverage. I have compared this to around 10 different companies and they are by far the lowest as well as have great customer service. I had my whole family change as well and they all saved around 30-50%. Thank you Geico, the only thing that I don't like is that I cannot insure more expensive exotic cars so in the future I'll have to look for a separate insurer for those. read more

Thank you Osman for the great service and clear explanation of my coverage thanks again for saving me a good amount of money on my insurance I would definitely be recommending you to friends and family Thanks again Osman read more

I had a really positive experience with Geico in the past so I didn't think twice about who to contact about car insurance when I got my new car. Andrei at the Torrance office assisted me today and made the process smooth and simple. He answered all of my questions and was clear about what I could expect from Geico's coverage. Despite a hectic day in the office, the team did a great job communicating with me and getting me insured within a matter of 20 mins. I felt well taken care of and reassured that I was getting the best possible deal for my brand new vehicle. I would highly recommend Geico for folks in need of insurance, especially auto and renters insurance, which--thanks to Andrei--I now have! read more

Osman was absolutely wonderful! I spoke with him twice and both times he was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions (I had a lot AND I called him last minute both times). He was absolutely great and definitely made my buying insurance experience pleasant. read more

Everyone I spoke to at Geico was very helpful and knowledgeable........ unfortunately that only lasted 6 months and out of the blue they decided to raise my rate by $50 a month for absolutely no reason !!!! And when asked about it , the answer given was , sorry it's the underwriters decision and there's nothing I can do to help you ...... the only reason I chose this lying company was for the price the quoted me and now I will be shopping for another company that will tell me the truth and keep the rate that they agreed upon Do yourself a favor and avoid them at all costs ! read more

I needed to find out a quote for insurance right away and with the help of Osman Melgar I was able to get that information rather quickly. He went through the whole process with me and and even tried to see what the best insurance was for me for my situation. I'm very appreciative of the customer service that was provided and went ahead and followed through with joining GEICO. I'd definitely recommend for those trying to find car insurance. read more

Recently. Bought a car went with geico i highly recommend doing business with andrei. Very professional and gives you a good deal.

Came in to renew my insurance as my current insurance policy expired today. I asked my friend group which insurance they recommended me and half of them told me that they use geico. I came into this location and was greeted immediately. Osman took care of me and he carefully explained the benefits of switching over to geico. I was able to upgrade my coverage by 5x for property damage and even pay less then my previous insurance! Everyone here was very friendly and welcoming I highly recommend visiting them in person if you are unsure of what to do for your insurance. I made no appointment in prior and was out in roughly 20-30 minutes. They are very professional and genuine people! Thank you Osman! read more

First and foremost, thank you for the amazing customer service. Kelly, Kevin, and the team are amazing agents. I've never experienced a friendlier, helpful, and caring staff. Truly one of a kind location. We had to switch vehicle coverage in which was quick and easy with no issues. Kelly took care of me and got me all situated. I even had later questions in which Kelly responded immediately. Finding people like this is far from none and truly appreciate the service. Geico please please please acknowledge this location. Thank you Kelly read more

They dont even deserve the 1srar given.I truly suggest you to shop around before going with Geico. I called them on 1/05/2018 and after the agent reviewed a couple things on my driving record I was given a quote of $126.24 a month my premium was $728.28. Two days later 1/08/2018 I recieve a email stating a change in my policy due to them reviewing my driving record and changed my monthly to $159 & premium of $899.38. I called and the same things they speak of thats on my driving record are the exact same things the guy mentioned when giving me my initional quote. I really feel catfished they just gave me a number to lock me in now telling me sorry theres nothing we can do I no longer want them and will be switching tomorrow. read more

I was looking around for quotes and was helped by Edgardo. Most helpful agent I have spoken with . He explained to me everything and answered any questions I had . Made me really happy deciding to go with Geico after all. Thank you for your professionalism. read more

Peeved. Had Geico for auto insurance some 2+ years, contacted the local agent to get a quote on homeowner's insurance. The agent attempted to barrel me into a policy by demanding my brokers information after my expressing multiple times that I was gathering quotes from several insurers, and would pick the one I felt most comfortable with. Nasty attitude, pushy sales tactics, insufficient apology. Sorry guys, you just lost my auto policy as well. These agents need to learn a bit about listening to their customers and common courtesy. Do better (One Star is for good experiences prior to today's mishap) read more

My mom and I went to this Geico location in a bit of a pinch as our car insurance through Allstate was simply too expensive and was set to expire in 24 hours. I had previously gotten a quote online for Geico and when the baseline price was much more agreeable, I convinced my mom to go into the office with me so we could work out the details of the policy with an actual agent. We walked in and everyone was busy, but Andrei Totoescu made sure we were comfortable while he finished his call and then proceeded to help us out. With my reference number in hand, finding the price I was quoted online was no problem, but Andrei went through each bit of coverage step by step to make sure we understood exactly what was included, and was able to make recommendations based on our needs. In the end, we walked out with the same amount of coverage we had with the old company, but at nearly half the price. We'll likely give Andrei a call when our home insurance is due too! Can't recommend him highly enough! read more

I've been looking for a new car insurance company since my recent one was charging a too much for full coverage which was not in my budget anymore. I mean after being with them for over 3 years no discount . So I finally settled on GEICO because I've been hearing great reviews from family and friends. I get a email from OSMAN MELGAR from GEICO with all the details of how much my policy will be a month including any taxes/fees with information on my coverage a full breakdown what a professional. I email him back and get a call next day (which is today) and I'm so excited to be paying less with the same full coverage I had before like hell yeah!!! OSMAN was great he explained my coverage again over the phone and I am completely satisfied and excited to join the GEICO family. My policy took only 10 minutes did it during my break got my insurance cards through email and all signed up on the app. Thanks again OSMAN you definitely explain with such knowledge and even helped me understand my coverage such a relief for me now to drive with a reputable insurance company to cover me if I'm in an accident. Will definitely look into that renters insurance in the future. read more

Osman helped me review a quote and saved me los of money. I had a really good experience..

After another sleazy insurance company raised my premium $90.00 for no reason (other than greed), I started shopping & called Geico. After some discussion, I was given a quote for $547.78 for 6 months for a basic, minimum policy. The agent asked for my credit card number, which I provided. Today, I received my policy & the declaration page indicated $606.00 for the premium. I spoke to two different people in their billing department & neither was able to explain why my premium increased. All they could come up with, was: "It's $606.00." I cancelled the policy. Any company that's willing to lose a customer because he won't allow himself to be ripped off for $58.22 doesn't deserve my business. read more

Osman Melgar was a great help today! He got me the best rate I've been offered compared to almost every other provider I've called. He was kind, friendly, and considerate about my concerns and wishes. Great experience, would recommend to a friend! read more

If you are looking for good service you may want to avoid this horrific Geico office. If you wish to be helped by a tatted up freak who can not do the most basic task such as enter a credit card number into the computer properly then for sure this is the place for you. Even after talking with the manager, who was extremely rude to me, he refused to make any apology for the trouble they had caused me. These days when there are so many choices for everything, especially insurance, how does a company that treats people like garbage stay in business? Fortunately with sites like Yelp we can warn other consumers that there may be a better place to spend your hard earned money! read more

Andrei has been very helpful when I was shopping around my auto insurance. Very friendly and knowledgeful. Highly recommended!

It was that time, so I started shopping/comparing insurance premiums. I called Geico and spoke to Andre (sp?). I was shopping for car, home, and personal property insurance so I had A LOT of questions. I don't do this often, so I had many dumb questions and I was on the phone for a long time. He was able to explain what the coverages meant and risks/benefits/price differences were if I added/removed various options. Even though I didn't end up buying (price reasons), I was definitely much smarter after this call. read more
