The surgery went very well (huge relief), and every single staff member we encountered was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly. Hospitals can be stressful places, but the people here do an amazing job of making you feel cared for and not just like "Patient #342B." The facility itself is spotless and surprisingly warm for a hospital setting. It doesn't feel cold or sterile, it almost feels like more than a hospital, like a place designed to comfort as much as it heals. There are plenty of waiting areas, good signage so you don't get lost in a maze of hallways, and even a cafeteria in the basement (Cafe on the Boulevard) for when you need a break and a burger. On a personal note, I was here 15 years ago to give birth to my daughter, and it's remarkable how much the center has improved since then. They've continued to grow, modernize, and somehow get even better at what they do. If you're looking for a hospital that combines top-notch medical care with a team of people who treat you with genuine kindness, Kettering Medical Center is it. No one wants to spend time at a hospital, but if you have to, this is a pretty great place to be.

He then called me a liar because he was too dumb to do anything useful. I asked for a supervisor and he told he didnt have any and that he was God. I was also visited by "Dr" Wenn. This "person" lied to me at least three times, that's just the ones I caught him in. I was discharged against my will, both Mr. Wenn and Mr. Sinewe, who have no business anywhere near a medical license, played the same game with me. They kept asking me over and over to send me home I kept saying no. Mr. Sinewe like a complete child actually fast walked out of the room while muttering can I send you home ok ok running out of earshot so he could pretend I was okay with it. I received life saving care later from another physician, so they probably thought they did right sending me away because I made it, but they just got lucky that someone else saved me. Marcus is punch-drunk on his own power but he doesn't even have average intelligence. I don't know where they get these clowns, and Mr. Wenn with all of his lies I don't understand why the hospital trains them to lie so much. There is NO way the hospital doesn't sanction it, obviously he lies to everyone so they have to know about it. I have given my family instructions to NEVER take me this hospital again, no matter what my condition is. They are to drive me to Miami Valley, where I hope to find an honest doctor with at least average intelligence, since none can be found at Kettering Medical Center.

However, they have lost my business and the business of my friends/family after my most recent interaction. My cat has a condition that causes crystals in his bladder to form if he doesn't eat a special diet. This food is considered a prescription and needs to be refilled my the vet each time I order it. I received a phone call saying they could not refill the prescription because they hadn't seen my cat in over a year. They tell me this last minute, when my cat could quite literally die if he doesn't eat this food which I'm trying to order because it is almost out. I have recently moved cities and didn't think to find a vet yet. So after refusing to make an exception even though it was their failure to inform me I needed to make appointments yearly, I spent an hour on the phone frantically trying to find a vet with a last minute opening to prescribe the food. Horrible customer service that literally put my cats life at risk.

Parking at this facility is very abundant so that wasn't a problem. The building is labeled pretty well and inside there are several offices. The CompuNet office is located on the second floor. However, there is an elevator if you can't or don't feel like climbing stairs. I walked in the office and signed in via their iPad. The phlebotomist promptly seen me, earlier than my appointment. There were no other people waiting. The office had plenty of seats in the waiting room and was decorated okay. The phlebotomist was friendly, and promptly withdrew two vials of blood. After verification of my data on the vials, I was on my way. I have previously been to another CompuNet laboratory on Paragon Road, in Centerville, but I like this laboratory better. Parking was better, wait time less, and facility was closer to home. I highly recommend.

I went in for my scheduled appointment at 8 am with a draw that needed to be completed between 8 and 9 am due to having taken Dexamethasone the night before. I signed in and after waiting 20 minutes, I alerted the woman at the desk. She said they'd be right with me. There was no one else in the waiting room. After 20 more minutes, I approached the woman again, letting her know that the draw needed to be done by 9, I've been here since 8, and it's now 8:40. She told me to wait. A couple of girls had gathered at the desk and were listening. At 8:50, I approached again because they were all gathered around laughing and chatting about their weekend escapades and it was getting dangerously close to being too late to do the draw. There was still no one else in the lobby. I walked up and she closed the window on me. At 9:01, she opened the window, called me up and told me it was too late to take the blood. I rescheduled the appointment. After calling the Dr back and having him prescribe another Dexamethasone prescription and picking it up and waiting a week, I go back for my appointment at 8 am. This time they drew my blood by 8:30. The Dr called and said I'd have to redo the draw because they'd "messed it up". I went to Labcorp for that repeat draw with no issues. Fast forward a couple months and I make an appointment for a non-fasting blood draw. I show up to said appointment and they ask if I've been fasting, I tell them no, it's not a fasting draw. The woman states it's their "personal policy" to only do fasting draws. I mention they could have told me that when I made the appointment. I rescheduled. I show up again, fasting this time, and they ask if I've taken a multivitamin within the last 24 hours. I said yes. They said they can't do the draw because it's their "personal policy" to not draw bloods if the patient has taken a multivitamin within the last 24 hours. I walked out and will never go back to a Compunet Lab ever again. I called the Dr and he's putting the orders into LabCorp for me. I explained the messing about and he said he's received similar complaints from other patients.
