Consistently Broken Checkout System and Dishonest Shipping Practices I have made multiple purchases from this company, and their shipping practices have been consistently terrible. On three separate orders, I intentionally selected and paid extra for expedited shipping because I learned early on that standard shipping takes an unreasonably long time. Each time, I carefully chose faster shipping at checkout, only to later discover that the order was processed with their slow, standard shipping instead. Customer service eventually admitted that their website has a known glitch where if you go back or forward during checkout to review your order, the system automatically reverts the shipping method to standard shipping. This is a known issue that has apparently existed for some time, yet it still has not been fixed. When I contacted customer service about my most recent order, I was treated as though I did not understand what shipping option I selected. I was then sent a screenshot of the internal invoice showing the downgraded shipping method. What was even more disturbing was that the internal notes on the invoice labeled me as "abusive" simply for being upset about repeated shipping errors and delays. Instead of fixing a broken checkout system and honoring the shipping options customers select and pay for, this company shifts blame to the customer and documents complaints as misconduct. I love Keto Chow products - 5 stars! Keto Chow is known for keto/carnivore friendly meal replacement shakes (mostly sweet flavors) in addition to 4 savory options. They also have daily mineral drops and a few other liquid supplement products. I originally heard about Keto Chow by watching Dr. Ken Berry videos on YouTube. And I've seen the owners many times speaking at Keto events and sponsoring Keto events. I'm convinced by the science behind the ingredients. My first experience was a small order through Amazon - a sampler kit - good stuff. They're super convenient for situations when you don't have time to cook a full carnivore meal. This time I placed an order directly from Keto Chow. I actually ordered one of EVERY flavor! The current flavor count is 31. This includes 4 savory flavors (like Creamy Tomato Basil) and several special edition holiday type flavors (like Eggnog). Mostly, I placed my recent order as a flavor extravaganza for my 81 year old mother. She switched to a Ketovore style diet about 6 months ago. She's had amazing results but she still struggles with sugar cravings. Since Mom was visiting for a few days, I placed the order so we could have fun sampling flavors. BTW, we both love every flavor we've tried so far. Both of us prefer mixing with whole milk. (We also tried water, half n half, and heavy whipping cream.) I recommend all of the Keto Chow products. Please remember, however, the shakes aren't desserts. The shakes are Keto friendly meal replacements with no added unhealthy junk...no sugar, no grains, no vegetable seed oils, no weird factory made emulsifiers. used to order keto chow meal replacement shakes through them. When i got my orders of shakes they were usually very tasty and never had an issue. They say they have a shelf life of 4 or 5 years and i was keeping mine in a cool dry place. I had extra single flavors of the shakes that i wanted to use and had best by dates of 2028-2029 and i got these in 2024-2025 so i made them in the shaker bottle as usual and for some reason they continuously kept tasting, bitter, metallic and not the good taste that i expected like before. I contacted the company not really expecting a return or an exchange but just really to let them know their product is not lasting 4 to 5 years as stated. I let them know that I will not be re-ordering and canceling my subscription due to the uncertainty of the freshness of their product upon getting it and spending money on it that I may not be able to get back depending on how much time goes by, by the time I drink the shakes, i wondered if they take old or close to expiring product and repackage it and put a different date on it, I am not saying that's what they're doing, but it did cross my mind. I don't understand why these shakes have recently been bad when the expiration is not due for another three or four years. I know that this can happen, but it's weird that every shake that I've had recently has been bad. I really appreciated that and that they stand behind their product. I wished my body could have taken it ( think it was the added fats that my body could not tolerate). So good business practice. So upgraded their stars, as it is not their fault I got nauseous and my body could not handle it. Keto is a no sugar, high fat, incredibly low carbohydrate diet that in our household helps to control my epilepsy and has helped Mr. MVP lose nearly 70 pounds. For us, keto is life. Keto is also sometimes a huge pain because all of our meals have to be cooked from scratch at home and eating out is such an enormous hassle that we simply don't bother. Keto Chow is what makes my life ten million times easier. My macros are extremely strict (less than 10 to 15 grams of carbohydrates per day), so I often find myself eating the same things over and over again. Keto Chow is a meal replacement drink that comes in a ton of different flavors - including chicken soup - and requires the very tiniest of effort on my part to make sure I'm not only meeting, but actually exceeding my nutritional goals every week. Mr. MVP does not like Keto Chow, so I continue to meal prep for him, but for me I stick with a double hot chocolate Keto Chow for lunch and scrambled eggs with avocado and cheese for dinner and I've got everything I need to keep my blood ketones up, my blood sugar down and my seizures away. During the summer I sometimes switch to a strawberry Keto Chow whipped shake for lunch and half a root beer Keto Chow for a snack after dinner. We are also lucky because my parents live just across the street and they like Keto Chow too, so we can buy full bags and split them so we get to try more flavors between all of us. For the curious, I prep my Keto Chow with 3 ounces of heavy whipping cream and about 25 ounces of water. Some ketoers also use avocado oil, but I like whipping cream. The Keto Chow is incredibly filling and sometimes I will only drink half a portion for a meal at lunch and come back and drink the other half for a snack a couple hours later. Mr. MVP does not like protein based drinks and says that Keto Chow does have a protein taste, but he does like the strawberry and root beer flavors. My only complaint is that sometimes the shakes go right through me... Think Chernobyl.
