I had Evans Plumbing come out and replace my main water line to my home. They required a 30%…read moredeposit before they could do any work. When they came out I gave them a check for $1,944.60. A few days later I got the remainder of my bill for $4,537.40 which I mailed in. About a month later I got a bill for $1,944.60 plus interest. To make a long story short, I called in several times to tell them I can see the check cleared my bank but they still said they couldn't find it. They said they will look into it but I never heard back from them but they kept sending me a bill with more interest. I had to call back several times see what's going on. The receptionist argued with me that it takes time to find the check (the check was deposited 3 months ago) and I called 21 days ago, gave them the check number for them to look into and never heard back (kept getting billed with interest). This last call they said they could see the check and it "should" be resolved. If this is the service you like then I'd say go for it.... Update: Evans Plumbing called me and apologized for the situation and told me the feedback/training they provided to their administration dept. I can appreciate a business that knows when their customer was not treated to their standards and is trying to learn and grow from their mistakes. I would gladly do business with Evans Plumbing in the future and would refer them to my friends and family.

Nothing that shouldn't be a easy fix. First time they came was 4 hours past the allotted time frame. Claimed they fixed it but it was apparent immediately after they left it was exactly the same as when they arrived. Call again to report that nothing was ever fixed. Never got a bill so assumed they dropped it since nothing got fixed. Only to receive a late notice to a bill that never came. Again call to tell them nothing was fixed and no bill was ever received. They agreed the first bill should be dropped and they'll send someone out again to try to fix the problem. This time they came and replaced parts, leave and again nothing works as it should. Same exact problem on both toilets. Call to tell them again nothing has been fixed to only get the answer "well you probably need new toilets". Evan's plumbing is great at showing up late, not fixing your minor issues, not sending invoices then threaten to send late invoices to collection. I wouldn't take a free toilet from these hoopleheads if they offered and should have had my lawyer pursue fraud claims against them.
