Hector PA is very nice, caring & compassionate which is who my son usually saw. The staff is very polite and the office is very nice and clean. He is very strict which now We understand why and it was a hard lesson learned, but we sure learned and in the long run his strictness was very helpful to us. Located all the way to the back of this medical office plaza the office is updated and clean. The wait time is no less than an hour. Today was 1:20 minutes. Time with the doctor 2 and a half minutes and that was him saying hello everything the same, go through medication and okay see you next year. Today's issue was they took so long we had a virtual appointment that started as soon as we were being released. I informed the assistant that we had a video call that would take 2 minutes and I need the room. Initially she tried to tell me no they have more patients (mind you it's 4:00 no patients after 3 we were the last ones) After I explained to her we been there for an hour and a half I can use the room for 2 minutes she slammed the door! Like the audacity! AA we walked out she has a smirk on her face and I told her she didn't have to slam the door. Mind you my client is special needs and it startled him. The last time I had surgery was when I was giving birth to my youngest who is now 20yrs old and that c-section kicked my butt. When I was brought to the back, I was greeted by several people to confirm my surgery to make sure I was the right patient and to verify what surgery was being done. This is protocol at hospitals and surgery centers to preventive errors. By the time I was brought to the surgery room I was having anxiety at this point. If it wasn't for the amazing staff at MSC I would have backed down. I was so shaken up, I asked the nurse in the surgery room if she was able to please hold my hand and without hesitation she was happy to hold my hand and then the other nurse came around the other side to hold my hand and after that I didn't remember anything. The anesthesiologist walked me thru and was talking me thru the process til I fell asleep and if it wasn't for the anesthesiologist and the 2 ladies, I probably would have backed down. I wish I remembered the ladies names to give them some praise and acknowledgement, but I was so nervous at the time I forgot. I have worked at medical facilities and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and empathy. MSC is above standard and if you're going to have surgery here then you should know that you'll be taken care of. Staff is amazing. No one looks forward to surgeries/procedures, but MSC makes you feel at ease. I recommend this surgery center and I hope your visit is as successful as possible!
