You will die before they get around to doing their jobs. STAT everywhere else in the medical field…read moremeans immediately, here it means in a week. If you want to suffer or possibly die while waiting for treatment then definitely go to these incompetent and lazy lowlifes.

First things first, I am not a patient. I never even got that far…read more I am a veteran. I have a VA Care In the Community referral to this place. I call to make an initial visit appointment and I am immediately met with a bullying demand for my secondary insurance. If anyone is familiar with the Care In the Community process, we cannot provide a secondary insurance. It's unethical. Why? Because you would basically be double charging the secondary insurance because the VA already has this information on file or should. Also, this is a VA referral...not a secondary insurance referral...VA only. The VA has to process these things through TriWest and if you start charging a secondary insurance, it will take exponentially longer for you to get paid because you decided to complicate the process and inserting an unnecessary step. Everything with the VA takes time. This is no way to treat anyone...and I mean anyone. I used to see Dr. Veedu when he was with Kern Medical and I was actually excited to be able to have him as a doctor again. Unfortunately that will not happen. Here's a thought...don't bully new patients. If they refuse to provide their secondary insurance information...just accept that and move on. Let this be a warning to Veterans who are using Care In the Community referrals. Avoid and request a different Neurologist.

My experience with this business was wonderful until Carmen Fischer walked in the door of the exam…read moreroom. Just as she was entering she was adjusting her facemask to cover her face almost entirely..which was okay I guess..Upon her taking her seat i could cut the tension in the air- this was going to be a diabolical appointment. For years I had been prescribed 1 mg of lorazepam, 1mg daily. She saw this in my chart and took the opportunity to lecture me about the hazards of pain medication and benzos as if I were a strung out drug seeker..I assured her my doctor was informed and many times did not need to take the dose daily- she immediately perked up and stated "well it better be in your system then we're about to find out" (um, where else ma'am) at this time she noticed my purse buzzing, got extremely wide eyed and wouldn't hear of the fact that it was indeed, my phone vibrating in my purse. All phones were supposed to be off. Once she got through with THAT lecture too she ordered a X-ray of my NECK (for pain associated with my rotator cuff and lower back) further labs, and reminded me not to forget my urine test on the way out. Honestly never had such a poor doctor ever. Ms Fischer might be going through something we know nothing of, so I tried to be kind. But this is my health, and if I can save another the exasperation of the merry-go-round this woman obviously likes to put her patients thru I've helped! I voiced my concerns over EVERYTHING upon leaving, even with the nurse upon leaving the exam room, they all know Ms Fischer's temper and lack of bedside manner well. All they can do is offer the services of another doctor in clinic.

Went to Ms Fischer for help with pain. She was rude and very unprofessional, she looked like she…read morehad been up all night and like it was an inconvenience for her to be talking to me. When she left the room she didn't explain anything to me she just blurted out that the drug test better not show drugs or alcohol and walked out. I had just told her everything I had been taking and I would stop everything to get help. I called the office to find out what I was supposed do next and I told them how she treated me, they told me that she can be difficult. They charged me to a different Dr. if you need help she is not the person to go to!!!!

!!!!! WORST MEDICAL OFFICE I HAVE EVER VISITED!!!!! - Brimhall Road location…read more DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING THERE! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS PLACE HASN'T BEEN SHUT DOWN. I could write in detail about everything that happened to my husband there, but I am not taking the time for this! Doctor pretty much useless and writes twice the wrong body part on the MRI order. In addition the MRI is written for the wrong providing facility! Doesn't write prescription for correct medication! Some women in the front office are completly unprofessional and disrespectful! Also, first AI answers the phone! I spend hours!!!!! on the phone, asking them to correct a mistake they made with a referral! I called in the morning of the appointment! The appointment was in the afternoon. The runaround they gave me, is unbelievable! I documented each call on paper. They even lied to me and the person in charge did not take my calls, even though they admitted they made yet again another mistake! We could not make it to the very important imaging appointment!!!! My husband had been in excruciating pain for over 3 month at this time and an appointment with the specialist the next day! The imaging was necessary for said appointment! I am taking this case to the California Medical Board. I am not sure if they will handle this type of medical dereliction of duty, but something needs to be done! I'm horrified thinking about all the elderly people who are under the care of this office and don't have the stamina to fight for the healthcare that they are entitled to by law.

Worse medical practice in have ever been to. You tell them your problems, they ignore and just recommend more injections. They just want to upcharge and collect not caring about patient care.

A 10 minute visit is billed over $800 (maybe because they are tied to UCLA they get away with much higher billing and reimbursement rates). I constantly complained I felt the issue in my foot potentially from previous injury, and a car accident. He was fixated on it being plantar fasciitis... after getting a MRI $2600 plus, all he focused on we looking at the image & he said it confirmed this diagnosis, & treatment options. I asked about my large toe joint & he said it wasn't included in the MRI & if I needed it examined, I needed to make another appointment to be worked up for that as a separate issue!? Talk about money hungry!? Just bill for an intermediate or advanced exam, since I am already here!? I asked for a copy of the MRI, when I read it, it showed a fractured bone which he didn't even address!!! I sent it to my primary care who said I should have been placed in a "boot" but mind you it is now 2 months later. At no time was my MRI scan reviewed much less in its completeness! I feel this is malpractice and my ankle may now never be the same! I would not recommend this doctor

They took xrays of my foot and then the doctor came in. He examined me and made me stand on my toes and stand on one foot to test my foot. He then set me up for a MRI for this weekend. I found him to be concerned and caring and he had a excellent bedside manner. Dr. Etcheverry is our new foot doctor from now on.
