Highly Recommend Mike with Kern Solar Cleaning!…read more After having our solar panels installed, we ran into a serious problem with pigeons living underneath them. Because our panels sit low, a large number of pigeons made it their home. It caused damage, created a huge mess, and the constant noise made it a very stressful situation. Kern Solar Cleaning came out and got the job done. They were efficient, professional, and made sure everything was thoroughly cleaned up. We were very happy with the work. However, we later realized we were still hearing birds--this time in our attic (ugh... pesky things!). I called Mike back, and without hesitation, he returned to help. He checked the netting and confirmed the original installation was done perfectly. We were both puzzled trying to figure out how the birds were getting in. After several attempts, Mike went above and beyond climbing onto our two-story home multiple times until he finally found the entry point the birds were using. Thanks to his persistence and dedication, the problem was completely resolved. You cannot go wrong hiring Mike. He is professional, communicates clearly, and truly takes pride in getting the job done right. I highly recommend Kern Solar Cleaning. Even if you don't have a pigeon problem, regular solar panel cleaning is important, and they do an excellent job. Thank you, Kern Solar Cleaning! Jose and Theresa Fernandez Bakersfield, CA

Thank you to the 3rd party contractor who got my solar system working again after Fuzion essentially held my service repair hostage. Fuzion refused to send a service technician or address my issue unless I signed a non-disclosure agreement. The reason? I left an honest review a few years ago. I was told I needed to sign the NDA and change my rating on that previous review before they would provide service in a timely manner. I paid out of pocket to have an independent contractor diagnose and repair the system. During that process he discovered several installation issues that were not up to code from Fuzion 's original installation. My experience has been that Fuzion is your best friend until the installation is complete. Once they've been paid, you're treated more like an inconvenience than a customer. Looking back, the constant management turnover should have been my first red flag. I don't enjoy writing negative reviews, but consumers deserve to know what happens after the sales process is over. customer service and accountability seem to disappear once the contract is signed.

I understand some of it was out of their control since working with PG&E is a pain. At the end it felt like pulling teeth getting them to help us. We were wondering why our grid dependence percentage was so high and lo and behold batteries weren't even powered on! They get into the pillars and eaves of the house and make a complete mess. I didn't mind them nesting there until they started getting into the styrofoam inside the pillar and leaving it all over the yard. It was impossible to pick it up because it was so small and it made the grass look terrible. King Solar had bird-proofed my neighbors home last year and offered to do the same to mine. I, a typical foolish man thought, "I got this". Spoiler alert, I did not have it. I added sparkly ribbon to my roof. It worked for a bit. Then I added bird spikes, which apparently the birds love to use as a nesting foundation. I tried the bird mesh from home depot. Countless hours wasted, and in all honesty it made the roof look like crap. The birds would sit up there, and mock me, as if they were saying "your move". *Enter King Solar* Check-freaking-Mate birds! They came out the same day, provided an estimate and followed up to see if we were good to go. Got it ok'd by the boss (the wife) and they were able to come out the next morning. It took him a bit longer than anticipated but he refused to charge extra. His price was his price, and he did not try and raise it in the middle of the job like some other companies. Kudos to him, he has excellent customer service. The finished product looks great! I am very pleased with the quality of the work and look forward to having a styrofoam free yard from here on out. They can also clean your solar panels and critter proof them as well so pests don't ruin your equipment.
