Have been here a few times to look for supplies for my home kitchen. We love to cook as a family. Avid cooks. Saw some nice chef style pans as you walk in the door to the left, also some nice food prep bins and utensils I would have purchased. When I walked in the first time, there was a lady standing at what looked like a desk in the center back wall She never said a word or offered any help at all Just stood there without ever acknowledging me The second time(this week) stopped in and followed a woman and elder lady in Immediately they were greeted with, hello, what can I help you find etc. they were helped and I waited as not to interrupt their transaction patiently waiting When they left I was standing in the isle just in front of the register where when they got done, the lady that was helping them simply walked off not to be seen again I kept looking around and had questions of pricing due to there not being any pricing labels on the shelves. Waited another 10min and no one so I Again walked out I will shop on Amazon Tried to support Local but Local apparently does not need business What they could use is customer service read more

I discovered Kesco years ago while looking for an electronics supply co. I've shopped there every other month or so, since then. Everyone is welcome, not just restaurant people. The store is small, with narrow aisles and packed shelves holding many types of utensils, cooking tools & vessels. This place simulates creativity, or at least ingenuity, and the staff are helpful and friendly. I find huge 18" steel tongs, grates & aluminum pizza screens for my BBQ/smoker, restaurant style chef's & boning knives, sharpeners & steels, sieves & sifters, spatulas & turners,..., all better quality than Wal-Mart/Target counterparts if offered, and for the most part unavailable in retail stores at those sizes & specifications. For instance, you can't find those huge tongs anywhere else in B/CS. They keep my hands away from the coals/wood chunks in my smoker, especially when getting them started. I haven't seen similarly fine sieves or large food turners elsewhere in town. Some items there are cheaper than inferior products sold in discount/grocery stores. I would give this place 5 stars, but I've been to Ace and to Northwest in Houston, both of which offer greater variety, and are many times larger, with showrooms full of the large equipment that Kesco has to back-order. But even restaurant managers I know order these through Kesco, rather blowing an entire afternoon in Houston traffic. And the rest of us can find cool utensils & implements here, sometimes cheaper than elsewhere. read more

Kesco Supply - Wholesale Stores Near Me - Bryan, Texas

Semi decent store with an ok selection. Seriously lacking in customer service/sales. I walked in here today to pick up a few supplies for a place I am currently working at. Upon walking in I assumed they were closed...there was NO ONE in sight. I began to browse and found their store to be kind of cramped and stuffy. I saw an employee in the back who made eye contact with me and then walked into an office. Saw a second one a few mins later who stared at me and walked away. Ok are they really closed and confused I am there??? This happened a third time before I even went to the register. I was only able to find half of the items I needed so I waited at the register for assistance. A fourth lady walked by and gave me the coldest stare before walking away...like seriously? What the hell. Finally a guy came to the register and helped me. Didn't bother to help me find my items much...just pointed in their general direction. The prices were ok for what I got. The lack of service though...I can barely think of another time I have ever encountered a more inept staff. Its almost as if they deliberately do not want your business. Not once was I ever approached asking if everything was ok. Not once did any employee attempt to promote a sale. Many times I was looked at and ignored or scowled at. The only help I got was a gesture in the "right" direction for an item. My only probable solution to this was that ALL of these employees were just office employees. Even then, Acemart in San Antonio even has their unit directors out on the floor making sales/advising. I wont be back. I definitely wont recommend this place. I will also let folks know about how shit the service was. Will not return. Will not recommend. read more

We use Kesco not only for supplies but for repairs to our equipment as well. They have always shown up when promised and have friendly/ knowledgeable techs. On the other hand when I go into their showroom I am always amazed with the selections -- they always have what we need. read more

I went into KESCO, in Bryan, Texas today and was absolutely STUNNED at the TOTAL rudeness of the employees that work there!!! I walked in and went to a counter in the back. The women saw me there,but for whatever reason ignored me. I was dressed business/casual, so it there was no mistaking me for salesman. I had to ask for assistance. A large woman from behind the counter yelled for "Lori" to "help this man." and went back to her corner. Lori came out and asked "whatcha need?" I asked her for info on a large deep pot to fry a turkey in. She said in a huff, hold on and I'll check. She went back to her desk and that's the last i saw of her. I waited for about 7-8 minutes and said are 'you still there?' I got no reply, so I left. I think everyone should know how RUDE these people are!!! I did find what I was looking for on-line at ACE. Excellent equipment repair, reasonable prices. I've been using them for 5 years, and have yet to have an issue that Larry can't resolve.
