I've been a patient of this practice for years. Reception has always been sweet (or at least…read morepolite). Back office is quick to send my prescriptions every month. My provider is very kind. Also incredibly receptive to feedback on medications. Flexible with my schedule. Do your part, and they will do theirs. Can't believe I need to say this: If nobody answers the phone, just leave a voicemail. Send a follow up email. Be patient. Be courteous. They will get back to you sooner than later.

I was charged a no-show fee when in fact a message had been left in time to cancel an appointment and was hounded for this no-show fee. Then a copay was demanded up front before a telehealth appointment with no prior warning, at a time when finances were incredibly tight. When my wife called the office and eventually got through to somebody, which is also a recurring issue, we were told that we did not have the requisite written permission form for my wife to talk with the office. Since we both filled in that form at the office sometime beforehand, that was simply not true. When speaking with this person from the office and I tried to respond and detailed a couple of my concerns, this individual continually kept speaking over me. I asked her to stop doing so and to allow me to respond without interrupting, and she hung up. I cannot recommend Denver Wellness to anyone and would advise people to avoid them.

JT is incredibly kind and well-intentioned, but the therapy felt one-dimensional. Sessions largely focused on validating feelings without providing structure, tools, challenge, or actionable guidance - all of which I repeatedly asked for. Given that this therapy was priced at the higher end of what we've seen, we expected a much deeper level of engagement and clinical depth. I consistently expressed that I did not feel understood, and that concern never felt meaningfully explored. The turning point came when JT continued asking the same questions and implied that I wasn't going deep enough. When I asked him to take a different approach and ask more thoughtful probing questions, he responded by asking me what I thought he should ask instead. That felt backwards. If he is the trained professional, I don't believe it should be my responsibility to determine how we get deeper in session. He also seemed dismissive of modalities like the Gottman Method and Nonviolent Communication, as well as the self-work I was doing independently. Despite repeatedly asking for homework or guidance between sessions, none was provided. We were looking for stronger direction and more skill-based, structured work, which is why we chose to move on. We're very happy with our new therapist, who also practices EFT but brings a broader, more versatile approach rather than relying on a singular method.

I feel like I won the psychologist lottery with Estelle! She provides invaluable support, guidance,…read moreand care. I have been a client of Estelle's since 2015 with some breaks during this time due to life changes. When I first began seeing Estelle, I saw her in person at her office which was comfortable. I no longer live in Colorado, so now Estelle and I meet virtually. I am on a very regular appointment schedule, however, she has always remained flexible when accommodating appointment changes. Estelle has and continues to work with me through a variety of issues (PTSD, queer relationships, grief with relationships ending, marriage, self-improvement, religious changes), and I never felt judged or treated differently. Instead, I've always felt extremely safe with Estelle no matter the topic. I easily can say that my life has been changed for the better by Estelle's presence. She celebrates with me when things are good, and provides light at the end of the tunnel when things are hard. She isn't clinical and dry. Estelle is warm, invested, and appropriately humorous. She truly wants to understand you, your quirks, and find a path towards healing at your pace. Her observations are given kindly and are explained well. I like that Estelle holds me accountable when I need to be held accountable. I plan to stay with Estelle for many years to come! She is my mentor for bettering myself, and a beacon of hope when things are heavy.

As cliché as it sounds, I can honestly say that working with Lindsay changed my life. Who am I…read morekidding? With the tools and insight she provided over our 18 months working together, she's continuing to change my life. I sought out counseling services when life felt unbearably bleak, difficult, and dark. I came in, grasping for control and hoping for a quick fix, which in hindsight is utterly laughable. I think if I knew how much baggage I needed to unpack and how much "inside" work it would take, I never would have begun the process, but with Lindsay's gentle and steadfast guidance, I was slowly but surely able to pull myself out of the weeds. With her help (and a lot of healthy work), I've found my voice and have begun to thrive in a visceral, sustainable and powerful manner- what a gift she has given me! Lindsay is thorough, receptive, non-judgmental, open to talking about therapy within therapy (so meta, I know), insightful, funny, wise, kind, gentle yet straightforward, and very easy to talk to. She questioned and helped me dig when I needed to be pushed and gave me space when she recognized that I needed to come to my own conclusions. The way she approaches counseling is thoughtful and intentional, but never calculated, which is invaluable. Overall, all I can say is this: Lindsay led me through a very challenging period of my life and for that I will forever be grateful. I've been through my fair share of counseling in the past with poor results- I'm so thankful for this positive experience to fall back on as needed. If you're feeling lost, trapped, stuck, like you're drowning...do yourself (and your loved ones!) a solid: go see Lindsay, commit to doing the work, and stick with it, even when it get's hard. People are messy, life is hard, but she's one of the great ones out there.
