I was here for apples, and they had a ton of options. They were very friendly and patiently explained the process. You fill buckets and then pay at the end. They have pull carts so you can move multiple buckets around. There are so many varieties of apples! There is a chart at the entrance to the orchard with the names and what purpose is best for each kind of apple (eating, baking, applesauce). They also let you sample the apples to help with the selection process. The orchards extend farther than was apparently from the parking lot. It was peaceful at the far end of some of the rows, and we found plenty of apples. It can be muddy, so boots are probably a good idea. It was a lovely fall day, with blue skies. This was a fun way to connect with the season and to become more familiar with where some of our food comes from. Highly recommended.

Had some of the best strawberry shortcake we've had this summer. In house cake and local strawberries with a pile of whip cream. Sat outside in the shade under a tree and listed to the band. Went inside to the market and bought some really fresh ripe peaches to eat the next day. Might be worth a trip down by itself next time.

They also have cherry trees and other U-Pick options. I was met as soon as I parked and got to see how they're grown and chose the ones I wanted. Pretty cool alternative to the standard dad tie. If you don't want to u-pick they have a tiny store where you pay higher prices, but can just walk in pay and go. They give you rides deep into the farm in utility vehicle. They are taking precautions for COVID-19, so you cannot bring your own containers for U-pick. Instead, you pre-pay for a container they provide (I.e. quart, 1/2 flat), and then you fill it and leave (no weighing). 1/2 flat was $12.50 for raspberries, blueberries, and boysenberries. They ask everyone stay at least 6' apart. It has never been too crowded, so it is rather easy to maintain your distance and pick where you please. The fruit is delicious, and right now there are plenty of raspberries and blueberries!
