KRC's management fails on nearly every level. They mass‑hire people with assembly‑line interviews--three candidates at a time--immediately signaling that applicants are interchangeable and competing for scraps. They advertise salary ranges but ignore experience entirely, starting everyone at the lowest possible pay regardless of qualifications.
I've personally witnessed managers bully, belittle, and undermine their staff. The turnover is so extreme that families are constantly shuffled between new service coordinators, sometimes every month. I was assigned to families who had already gone through five or six coordinators in a single year. This instability directly harms the people KRC claims to serve.
Despite having a fully up‑to‑date caseload with zero overdue items, I was fired without explanation. I was simply told, "You're an at‑will employee. We don't have to tell you. You're not a good fit." No warning. No coaching. No professionalism. Just a dismissal that ultimately punishes the families who rely on continuity of care.
They also fired my coworker because she was in graduate school and they refused to accommodate her internship schedule. I'm also in grad school, and given that my work was current, it's hard not to conclude that I was pushed out for the same reason. KRC wants entry‑level workers at entry‑level pay, with no negotiation, while expecting employees to use their personal vehicles and stretch themselves thin for less than what a fast‑food worker earns. read more
