I got a Polaris for Christmas last year and could not be happier with the product. Since I've been dealing with Kent Powersports in Selma, however, is an entirely different situation. The insurance department has screwed up the billing and registration not once, not twice, not three times, but four times. When I tried calling to schedule my Polaris in for it's routine maintenance, it took me over a month to get ahold of someone (the phone routed through to voicemail and a person never answers, then after I called sales to complain about not being able to get ahold of service, they called my parents' house as they don't seem to be able to update simple records such as owner's name, address, and telephone number). The service itself was no short of a fiasco. It took me over two months of back and forth to have them fix a simple latch on a tailgate. Because of the rude service and lack of communication, the service director had said he would give me 20% off. Then, they needed to order a part to fix the tailgate. One part was on order another part was in stock. It took over two weeks for the ordered part to come in and by that time "someone had sold the instock part on ebay" and I had to wait another week for that to come in. Then, when the part came it, it was scratched. So, he gave me 20% discount but did not apply the original 20% discount I had previously been quoted. THEN... I had a credit for a buy referral which never got applied after REPEATED queries. For all this trouble, they gave me an EXPIRED coupon to Rudy's BBQ next door. I love the product, but I cannot for the life of me see how this establishment stays in business treating customers like it does! read more

I called the to get a price on a 2019 Polaris Ranger 900 crew. The manager called me back and said he had one at the store in Kyle and would be "Very Aggressive" on the pricing. I got the price and said I would be in Tuesday to complete the deal. I told the sales guy at Woods I was going to buy from Kent because they were 1700 less fro the same ranger as he was pricing for me, he said they will not sell it to you for that price. After I got to Kyle 30 mile drive one way the manager was not there so I spoke with Dre, only to find out not only did the not have a 2019 Polaris Ranger Crew in stock but they would not even honor their price but they could find me one for much more money. No thanks I will never do business with Kent Power Sports because of this game they try to play. Bottom Line Up Front: The parts department ordered parts for me that didn't work on my motorcycle. Upon returning the part, they charged me a 20 dollar re-stocking fee, that they refused to waive. Discussion: I have a problem with this, because I trusted them to order a part for me. I didn't go in asking for this specific part, simply an idea and one that works on the bike.... For that level of 'expertise' and customer service I will never go back there again and simply order parts online. At least online, if I make a mistake, it is MY mistake- and most reliable places will accept returns without an additional fee. I shouldn't have to pay for someone else's mistake. read more

I've been to Kent for different issue and regardless if it's a warranty issue, maintenance or just one of those gremlin things that happen; they are the first and only place I trust my bike to. All places get overwhelmed for service work and I've waited considerable amounts of time but I know that's the reality of it. Some people just feel they should be 1st in line & their issues are greater than anyone else's. I can't give those people a trophy and I'm sure Kent can't either. But I do know Kent will give them the best service from a very professional staff. Customer for life. read more

My husband purchased a bike over a month ago. After hours of running around (warranty/insurance/financing departments) to buy a bike paying cash we were told the plates and registration would arrive in 2 weeks or so. It's been over a month. After several phone calls no one has any idea what is going on. We haven't received anything. They were not willing to comprise much on price either. We were willing to spend even more on a package deal (helmet/gloves/jacket) but they could care less. This is the 3rd motorcycle my husband has purchased and it will be the only purchase from Kent Powersports. read more

These guys really helped us out. We were headed out of town and realized we needed new tires for our 4 wheeler. As soon as the tires arrived on the truck, they immediately installed them. We were able to leave on time!!! read more

I have tried on several occasions to give this place my business. I work and live in the Selma area close to this dealership and service facility. I have a Harley Davidson and a Runabout that I have tried to service here. Every time I call or visit they treat me as I was a bourdon and that they had to much business to need mine. My latest run in is the reason for this review; I was told they didn't have the tools for a very simple repair (impeller pump replacement) that requires 3 different size wrenches, a large flat nose screw driver and abut 1 hour and 1/2 or so labor. How do I know this....I went home and did it myself. Here I am someone begging to spend money on multiple occasions being told we don't need your business in more ways than one. I would highly recommend you find another place to service and purchase your toys. As every time I have tried to purchase or service mine they never seam to need my business. read more

WOW!!! Started off gret experience said they could get my machine in and did diagnostics 2 days latter called me and said that take a week and would have fixed. This was at end of October. Its been 3 weeks no work on the machine, I had to call 12/1/16 and ask where is it at, and they have done nothing to fix machine and informed me another week!!!! worst service ever received!!!!! I would not recomend this place to anyone to have service doen there unless you have months to get complet. Glad I called I guess no telling how long they would have let this happen!!!! read more

I just recently bought a bike from them and they worked with me over the phone on the pricing and everything. They even took extra pictures of the bike and sent them to me. The previous owner had swapped out a few things but kept most of the original parts. They had it all in a box waiting for me. There were a couple of pieces missing from the rear foot pegs and they even ordered them for me at no cost and are shipping them to me. They also contacted the previous owner about one other part that was taken off. They haven't been able to get ahold of him yet but still it's above and beyond normal customer service. I dropped off my Yamaha four wheeler on Friday morning to get new tires and told Mike from the service department that I needed this back by next week on or before Friday. He told me that he would get back to me later on Friday or on Saturday with an update on ordering my tires. I called him that Friday evening and they still hadn't looked at it. I called him Saturday morning and he said they hadn't got to it but he would be calling me later that day with updates. He never did call. They are closed on Sunday and Monday. Tuesday morning I called Mike and they still had not looked at it. He finally called me at 1pm and said he could not find the rear tires and but he couple order it from the factory and it would take about 7 days to get delivered. I just picked but my four wheeler and will take it somewhere else. This was my first experience with their service department and my last one as well. read more
