Local artisan crafts for sale here. Newer spot, maybe. I don't recall seeing this place before at…read moreall. Good concept, much like the stores by our neighborhood, worked for the outlet mall for sure. 3D toys, resin made jewelry trays, wood shellac bowls, wall art, some other random unique decor. Bags, jewelry, kitchen accessories and more. It's all over the place and looks like a Saturday farmer's market kiosk or stall, doesn't quite flow, but that's really the artisan or vendor's doing or setup. The wood model T is decent at least. Should I buy it? Prices all seem quite reasonable too. Place has a lot of potential for arts and craft and other unique items. A lot of interesting options to pick from still. Staff members seem to be knowledgeable of the items being sold. Allows you to freely browse, no pressure.

After much deliberation, I finally pulled the trigger and bought myself a *nice* watch to celebrate…read morereaching several hard earned milestones this year. I needed to have it adjusted to fit properly so I brought it here despite no longer living in SL. I had been bringing my jewelry and watches here for 20+ years and had nothing but great experiences. Turns out those experiences must have been great because my jewelry up to that point was cheap. The process to adjust the bracket of the watch was taking longer than expected, so the gentleman apologizes over his shoulder telling me, "They make these quote unquote expensive watches really difficult". That statement concerned me as I had bought my watch online. Did I get a fake?!? No. He just has VERY STRONG opinions on "expensive" watches. He proceeded to enlighten me at length using the analogy that it was essentially the equivalent of buying a BMW when a Ford will give you the exact same vehicle. for considerably less. He went on to say that this is why people come to him, he's not trying to sell them anything, he's just telling the truth. Well, to me, he totally sh*t on a purchase I was excited about. Something I had looked forward to for years. He made me feel like an idiot for even wanting it, much less ACTUALLY being stupid enough to buy it. I walked in super stoked to get be so close to wearing my new watch. I walked out feeling like I'd just received a lecture on how stupid this man thinks I am. I will not be using extra gas to return to this store.

Mimi's Bride here!! ‍…read more First off I'd like to start by saying that I'm SO glad I didn't allow the negative reviews to deter me from giving this place a shot. Not only did I find my dream dress here, but from the minute I came in I felt like family here. I highly, highly recommend this bridal boutique if you are in the southeast MI area! All of the employees are so sweet and genuinely invested in giving every bride the perfect bridal experience. Being a plus size bride, I struggled to find shops that carried dresses in my size and Mimi's is one of the few where I was able to actually try on dresses that fit. I ended up going for a dress that my mom found (mom always knows best!) and they worked with me as I turned a couture gown into a custom design specially made for me. They offer in-house alterations at an added charge and even though the prices are steep, the quality speaks for itself. For reference, my budget was $3,000 -my dress & veil combined ended up being just under $2,000 and I paid $900 for alterations (keep in mind I re-designed the whole top of my dress and had 15 bustles!) so I still came in under budget and ended up with a unique one of a kind dress that no one else has. While I went the extra mile for my dress, I can confidently say that all the gowns here are amazing quality and do not need any alterations apart from tailoring it to fit your body perfectly so many brides from my community have chosen Mimi's bridal in recent years and they all looked stunning in their gowns!

I had previously spoken with the Geek Squad at Best Buy, who refused to even look at it for anything less than $200; and who instead tried to convince me to purchase a new computer. These guys were able to diagnose the problem free of charge. The problem turned out to be a minor faulty accessory which they were able to order, replace, and have my computer working in less than a week. The whole thing cost me half of what Best Buy wanted just to look at it. I recommend these guys for all of your computer needs and have been telling everyone to patronize them. (The only drawback is that the building is a dive, but if they were in a better building, the prices would probably have to go up too. They are located in a pretty good area though.)
