My relationship with Wolftrap began at college when my sorority would volunteer for their puppy shipment days. It was like a conveyor belt of puppy services one of us would hold a puppy while they got wiped down, flea and tick protection was applied to their coat, and then the vet Dr. Amber Burton would give them their necessary vaccines before they went to their foster homes. Basically this rescue does the Lords work, no exaggeration! They are a nonprofit based out of Vienna Virginia and they bring truck is full of puppies and kittens that they save from kill shelters in Louisiana. In college, I fostered a kitten and now as an adult with my own home I took on fostering two puppy littermates last week!! Christmas and donkey have been such a blessing they are precious angel souls. This rescue makes the process easy. First you go online and you apply to be a Foster, then you are scheduled to have a phone call with a foster team member to ensure you understand the process and responsibility. Based on that you can sign up for available pup shipments! Shipments are usually available on a biweekly basis. The foster period lasts three weeks in which during the time you will take care of them and provide them basic training plenty of love and hopefully find their perfect FUR-ever home and match them up with the best family to suit thier individual personalities. You also go online to fill out adoption forms! I picked up the puppies the day they came in transported them to my home gave them a quick bath since they had just come from the Place That Shall Not Be Named, fed them, provided them with puppy pads and multiple toys that the rescue provided me. They have since been dropped off this morning to get neutered free of cost to the foster or to the family. I chose to take in 2 siblings but you can also chose to just take in 1 pup or kitten. As A foster- my responsibility is to escort these puppies to the meet and greets with potential new owners - the rescue handles the coordination between people who applied online and email me directly phone number so that I can contact them. PLEASE sign up if you are able and love animals and want to make a difference. Often they are in NEED of fosters to be able to continue their good deeds!! Adoption fees are very manageable $525 for a pup?! In summary- fostering has been a pleasure of my life. Thank you WolfTrap for all you do!!!!

My Catnificent Eleanor (whom I call Ellie) from Catnificent Cattery is ADORABLE, SO GOOD, and just…read morean absolute joy! I picked her up at 14 weeks. Vlada provided me some goodies to get us going, and because of traffic, it took over 4 hours to get home. She slept and just looked around - no crying, no problems. She is 7 months old today (10/19/25), and is PRECIOUS. I am NOT a cat person - I am a dog person, but I have fallen hard for my Ellie. We experienced ZERO of the horror stories I have heard about kittens and cats. No accidents - she was already litter box trained. No scratching on furniture - she was scratch post trained but she's not really a big scratcher. She has the sweetest meow when she wants something, but it's never annoying or too often. She loves going "outside" (on a leash of course - she is completely an indoor cat) where we go to the mailbox and I brush her. She loves going "bye bye" in her cat backpack - she travels beautifully. Not once has she bitten or scratched - not even accidentally. She is definitely not a lap cat - she will not even sit in my lap for a moment, but she loves being held and kissed and snuggled as I am walking around. She likes to be near us, but she is never overbearing or clingy. A funny quirk: she is very hot natured - she loves being cool so she sits in front of air vents sometimes and has no interest in being anywhere near or on a blanket. Thank goodness we have hardwood and ceramic tile flooring for her! I have taught her to sit and come. And her favorite play includes wand toys and those little 1 inch pom balls. She loves chasing them all around the house, and she even brings them back to me to throw again. Also, Vlada was excellent to work with. And, my Ellie is perfectly healthy. We had her spayed last month and she recovered wonderfully.

My husband and I brought home our kitten in May of 2023 at just over three months old, and our lives changed for the best. He is the friendliest, sweetest, and cutest cat my husband and I, as well as our friends, family, and vet have ever seen. Both of us grew up with cats, but this one is different -- all in the best ways! He loves to play, cuddle, and socialize with our guests. He has so much personality for such a small creature! We are constantly laughing at his antics. Vlada was so easy to work with, communicative, prepped us for bringing him home well, and has been a joy to stay in touch with over the years. We can't imagine our lives without our sweet boy and are grateful to Catnificent Cattery! We felt the adoption process was professional, safe and healthy for the kitten and us, and have been honored to raise him and make him part of our family.

I recently stumbled upon a particular adoptable dog on Petfinder, which lead me to the CARE website…read moreand Facebook page. After a week of making sure I could definitely bring this dog home, I finally reached out about scheduling a visit. At this point, I was all in and ready to adopt this dog. I sent over the application via email ahead of time and was super excited to visit him that weekend. Fast forward to Friday and I received an email from Ming that the dog had gotten adopted and my visit was cancelled. My heart was broken. Lucky for me, the adoption didn't end up going through, and Ming reached back out on Saturday night to see if I still wanted to visit, which OF COURSE I did! I stopped by the next day, took the dog for a walk around the neighborhood and then signed all of the paperwork and paid the adoption fee. It's important to note that the CARE team works on a first-come, first-serve basis, so the dog you're looking at could easily get adopted before you get the chance to make it to your scheduled visit. I would've appreciated the team letting me know someone else was also in the adoption process/looking at the dog so I wouldn't have been so surprised. Once I visited, the adoption process was super easy and Ming was really great at explaining everything to me that I needed to know. My new dog is the sweetest and I'm SO happy everything worked out!

They clearly explained the whole process, shared videos of the kitten, and even provided a clear contract outlining how the purchase works, which gave us a lot of confidence. You can tell they take the process seriously and care about both the kittens and the families adopting them. The kittens appear very well cared for, healthy, and raised with attention and love. Communication has been smooth and respectful, and we never felt pressured -- just informed and supported. Based on the experience so far, we fully intend to move forward as soon as we return to the US. We're very happy with the impression they've given us and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-handled, professional breeder.

Dear sir/ma'am, I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed…read moreI am with the service of Feral Friends Networks, Atlanta, GA. I have practically begged for help for two mother feral cats and their kittens. Not to mention the other feral cats that are around my neighborhood. It is so horrible that your services advertise to help cats and requests donations but when it comes down to it, no services are provided to these poor animals.  I contacted every single person on your list that you provided and only one person was willingly to suggest that I do the work that I'm asking the exact help for. I ask why then do you advertise that there are services for these poor feral cats when there are none? Why do we bother donating to your organization when the time comes to aid these animals no service is provided? I am appalled at how each and every person on the Feral Friends Network in Atlanta, GA. did not come to the aid of these poor feral cats when they claim they will, yet ask for donations, and advocate to do good works for these poor animals. There was only one person, that is so sad, these actions are beyond disturbing. This is just horrible to request for donations and claim to aid feral cats but when the time comes, Feral Friend Network does absolutely NOTHING!  Regards, Requested for Help and Never Received It for Feral Cats and Kittens
