Here at KST I do custom hand made Scroll/Fret Woodworking. I can make: custom portraits, pictures, cut-outs, signs, nameplates, special orders and more. I also offer wood turning, items such as wood or acrylic pens / pencils sets, hair sticks, bookmarks, bottle toppers, finials, custom utensils and more. I pride myself in being a single owner / operator. Every part of the creation process starts and ends with me, and you as a customer end up with a quality hand made American product. Customers enjoy my artistic creativity, craftsmanship, prompt service, and attention to detail.
History
Established in 2017.
While I and my family have worked with wood in one form or another through out the years for ourselves or other companies, I decided to start working for myself full time. In January of 2017 I officially opened Ken'SawdusTherapy. I started small and only did customer ordered projects locally. Now I not only do that still, but I take orders from across the globe and ship to them as well. I have recently branched out into wood turning further expanding my product line and customer base. My future goal is to expand into laser etching, engraving, and cutting services to further personalize my products and create new ones as well.
Meet the Business Owner: Kenneth H.
I am Kenneth Hipp the Owner/Operator of Ken'SawdusTherapy. My business was inspired by my grandfathers memory. He used to work in his wood-shop hours upon hours on end and he passionately called it his "saw dust therapy". When i was looking for a name for my business I couldn't help but be inspired by him and hence the name and business was born. For generations my family has worked with wood in some form or another. With that comes knowledge and experience and a love for working with your hands and watching your thoughts and ideas come to shape. Nothing excites me more than the look of a surprised or very pleased customer. Inside you know that they now own a piece of you, your time, your effort, your skill, your passion in an object that you created. Hopefully with a little care on the customers part, that piece or project could live on itself for generations.
