There is a female team lead at the service counter area that would rather sit in the back room and…read moresocialize than do her job and i get told by people that service is closed because they are "short handed" Trust me when i say that these people rather you waste your time than to have a satisfying customer experience and she was rude to her coworker idk his name but i respect him for trying to help i got my item i left at the store but it took too much for one item

On a recent trip to Atlanta for work, I had a tire lose its tread on the highway. I managed to…read moremake it to this store and have regretted it ever since! It was Sunday so options were limited and, I HAD to replace the tire. All SEEMED well when I left, there was a bit of a shimmy but, it was my first road trip in this vehicle so I didn't think much of it. Made it to Atlanta and parked the car for the two weeks I was there. I had a rental for work and parked next to my truck every night. On the way back, the truck started shaking badly. I pulled over on the highway thinking I had a flat. Nothing. Checked the suspension, all looked fine. Tried to go a little bit and the truck just shook. I had it towed to Pep Boys. As the mechanic was pulling it into the garage, another guy came running out, waving his arms, yelling. My wheel, the one THIS WALMART replaced, was ready to fall off. It had two sheared lug posts and the remaining lugs were very ready to go. The wheel had been improperly seated by WALMART I had to pay for the repair AND a hotel for the two days I had to spend waiting on a new wheel. My wheel was ruined, the holes were bored out, making it useless. Not to mention the HUGE SAFETY RISK this put me in. Pep Boys got me all fixed up and back on the road. When I stopped at this location to see about them reimbursing me for the repairs, replacement wheel and lost days, they offered me $350. About a third of my total out of pocket. I told them that was unacceptable and we filled out the claim paperwork. Their claims guy called, I explained what had happened and he said he'd look into it. I have a job. A pretty good job. I was not looking to rip them off, I don't need to. I wasn't doing a "slip and fall" wanting them to buy me a house. I got REMARKABLY BAD SERVICE THAT COULD HAVE(luckily it didn't) KILLED ME!! I wanted them to make it right. That is all. I didn't ask for ANYTHING. I would have settled for just my out of pocket but, the video showed the guy torquing the lugs so, NOTHING. They claim NO FAULT AND I AM OUT ALMOST $1200!?! Needless to say, I am in the process of suing them now. If you mess up to the degree they did, SOMEBODY has to make it right. Especially when all that is being asked is what it cost me to repair YOUR BAD SERVICE!!

Ruler Foods is just the grocery store this town needed…read more At least, for me. [I'd love a Whole Foods or similar store but I KNOW that won't be happening any time soon, probably not at all.] The only other options in Cynthiana are Walmart (meeehhhhh), Save-A-LOT (just... nope), or Ken's (which is OK but really limited and overpriced). Due to these options, I find myself driving to the Kroger in Georgetown most of the time. Well.... I may not have to do that anymore! Ruler Foods has brought a little bit of Kroger to town. If you know and love Kroger, you'll be prone to like Ruler Foods. The store carries Kroger brand items and organic products. There's no deli or bakery of any sort since it's just several aisles of groceries, but you probably could complete all your grocery shopping here (and even pick up some paper towels or cat litter) as long as you're not seeking something specialized or obscure. The building itsef isn't large -- it's just five or six aisles -- and you may only be able to find two or three different kinds of whatever product you're looking for, but the selection is great. A quick walk-through and I was able to find SimpleTruth nondairy milks, organic baking ingredients, organic pasta & sauce, MorningStar patties, organic tofu, and more. I was delighted to find so many good, organic products mixed in with the regular offerings --- meats, milks, frozen foods, snacks, pasta, veggies, fruits, etc. Bring a quarter and your own bags. You need a quarter to use a shopping cart (you get the quarter back when you're done with the cart), and there are just four checkout lanes -- in which you bag your own groceries. They have plastic Ruler bags for $.10, but you're better off bringing in your own. It's very, very similar to Aldi's. At least they accept credit cards here. Speaking of.... the prices are amazing!! We left with half a cart full of items for only $40. FANTASTIC. I was freaking out a bit at how much food we were putting in our cart (more than I had on my grocery list) and was so relieved to find out how low all the costs were. I'm sure they're pretty low right now because the store just opened, but even still, they're affordable and it's not just for processed, crap foods (like Save-A-Lot). The employees seemed really excited to work here and the store is super clean. Yeah, it's new and fresh, but I have a feeling it will last. I'm planning to come here as often as I can. Simple, good grocery shopping. It's about time, Cynthiana.
