Over the years, I've used many different pharmacies and never had a particularly good or bad experience. Very hum-drum. But then I used Elm St once and after that I was all set. They are my go-to pharmacy every time now. They really do redefine professionalism, courtesy, accuracy, and speed. They will have a line of 5 cars pull up but in 8 minutes they'd have them all cleared out. I call in for a refill and I get a text that it's ready literally 5-10 minutes later. They put other pharmacies to shame and I do mean that. I think they have a good team who have similar work ethics and who take pride in doing an excellent job so when you get that kind of synergy, it shows. I don't recall their names but the young female tech with dark hair, glasses, and a slight accent as well as the youngish male PharmD are fabulous. When you see them there, know that they're working hard to get your your Rx and they certainly raise the bar for all pharmacies to aspire to. Good job!

This is a controlled substance for treatment of ADHD which I have been on for several years, and know the regulations on filling early extremely well. I appreciate a pharmacy that abides by the rules for everyone's safety.. HOWEVER- my psychologist accidentally put in the incorrect quantity of my medication enough for only a period of four days which I didn't realize until I got home yesterday. I asked her to send over the correct amount totalling the normal 30day supply and they notified me it was ready for pickup, this afternoon yet saying it was a $24.00 copay. I don't ever have a copay, so I called and waited on hold for roughly 15 minutes the first time 12 minutes the second time. I got a very rude woman on the phone who was extremely short with me, speaking with a heavy accent extremely fast; and passing the phone off to a gentleman when I asked her to repeat something or for clarification on why there was a co-pay. They both treated me like I was trying to fill the medication too early and then while on the call they sent me an auto message saying prescription delayed. The gentleman was nice enough, but he told me it was just a system issue with my insurance and would cost 24 copay. Then that it was too early bc of the 4 day incomplete prescription I had unknowingly picked up the day before. Then at one point almost bribed me with extra Walgreens points if I would just come in on Sunday and fill the medication after my four day supply of the medication was up, which was weird.The whole thing is an inconvenience in my opinion. because I'd rather not have to go back-and-forth to this pharmacy this many times. It was just a weird exchange in both waiting on hold that long, twice, then to b treated like I was trying to do something illegal or against regulations with a narcotic or something- then to be insulted and passed off by the woman over the phone whom I was speaking with politely. - not great Walgreens pharmacy. At the self check out I was approached by a young lady, probably 18 years old, who asked for my ID. I didn't have one on me so I was told I could not have the beer.
